To investigate the compression-shear behavior of a new circumferential joint based on the sleeve-straight bolt combination type connection of large-diameter shield tunnels,a series of full-scale joint experiments was carried *** the process of the experiment,more attention was paid to the specimen displacement,bolt stress and joint damage *** the basis of these experiment phenomena,this study discussed the compression-shear bearing process of the new connector,analyzed the damage mode of the joint structure,and finally evaluated the performance of the new *** is found that the bearing process of the joint can be divided into four stages:the transitional stage for overcoming the friction of the concrete,the sleeve bearing stage for the sleeve bearing shear loads alone,the combined bearing stage for bearing shear loads by the connector system,and the structural damage stage for structural instability and *** speaking,affected by connector position and hand hole,the positive compression-shear stiffness of the joint is less than the negative compression-shear stiffness,and the positive shear strength of the joint is greater than the negative shear *** increase of longitudinal axial force will improve the compression-shear performance of the *** relationship between longitudinal axial force and joint stiffness is a logarithmic *** use of new type of connector can effectively improve the compression-shear stiffness of joints under low shear loads,but the application of straight bolts will lose part of the strength performance.

Water contamination by tetracycline(TC)has emerged as an environmental concern owing to its widespread use and antibiotic *** of peracetic acid(PAA)in the water and wastewater treatment has recently been proposed and demonstrated to be effective for TC abatement,yet the underlying reaction kinetics between the PAA and TC are not yet *** explore the reaction kinetics,the effect of solution pH on TC abatement by PAA is studied and the species-specific rate constants are *** ability to donate and accept electrons for different species of TC and PAA is evaluated via density functional theory(DFT)*** pH-dependent apparent second-order rate constants of TC abatement by PAA exhibits the parabolic shape with the maximum at p H 8.5(9.75 L mol^(-1.s^(-1.).This phenomenon is closely related to the speciation of TC and PAA,in which the reaction between PAAH and TTC^(2-)possesses the highest species-specific rate constants according to the kinetic *** DFT calculations suggest that the HOMO of TTCH^(+),TTC,TTC^(-),TTC^(2-)and the LUMO of PAAH and PAA-are–6.40,–6.26,–5.1.,–4.94 e V and–0.24,0.60 e V,*** to the DFT calculations,deprotonation of TC and PAA leads to an increase of the HOMO value of TC and the LUMO value of ***,the HOMOTC–LUMOPAAvalues is in good agreement with the trend of species-specific rate constants,which can be used to evaluate the reactivity between PAA and TC with different *** study provides the kinetic data and theoretical basis for the reaction of PAA and TC,which is critical for the application of PAA in the treatment of water and wastewater.

Taking CL-20(hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane)-based aluminized explosives with high gurney energy as the research object, this research experimentally investigates the work capability of different aluminized explosive formulations when driving metal flyer plates in the denotation wave propagation *** research results showed that the formulations with 43 μm aluminum(Al) powder particles(The particle sizes of Al powder were in the range of 2~43 μm) exhibited the optimal performance in driving flyer plates along the denotation wave propagation direction. Compared to the formulations with Al powder 1. μm, the formulations with Al powder 2 μm delivered better performance in accelerating metal flyer plates in the early stage, which, however, turned to be poor in the later stage. The CL-20-based explosives containing 25% Al far under-performed those containing 1.% Al. Based on the proposed quasi-isentropic hypothesis, relevant isentropy theories, and the functional relationship between detonation parameters and entropy as well as Al reaction degree, the characteristic lines of aluminized explosives in accelerating flyer plates were theoretically studied, a quasi-isentropic theoretical model for the aluminized explosive driving the flyer plate was built and the calculation methods for the variations of flyer plate velocity, Al reaction degree, and detonation product parameters with time and axial positions were developed. The theoretical model built is verified by the experimental results of the CL-20-based aluminized explosive driving flyer plate. It was found that the model built could accurately calculate the variations of flyer plate velocity and Al reaction degree over time. In addition, how physical parameters including detonation product pressure and temperature varied with time and axial positions was identified. The action time of the positive pressure after the detonation of aluminized explosives was found prolonged and the downtrend of the temperature was

Zinc-air batteries (ZABs) offer tremendous potential in various industries and daily life due to their excellent energy density,safety and ***,the practical application of ZABs has been severely hindered by challenges such as high low round-trip efficiencies and overpotential,primarily attributed to the inherent sluggish kinetics in the oxygen evolution reaction(OER) of air *** address these issues effectively and economically,heterojunction engineering accompanied by interfacial chemistry emerges as an ideal approach to designing efficient OER ***,a novel heterogeneous interfacial chemical structure,namely NiCoP/NiFe LDH (layered double hydroxide),needle-like NiCoP and NiFe LDH nanosheets were assembled from cores and shells,***,the NiCoP/NiFe LDH-based ZABs have an exceptionally long cycle life of 238 h,far superior to Pt/C+Ir/C batteries (～97 h).Theoretical calculations and experimental results demonstrate that NiCoP/NiFe LDH possesses tunable interfacial chemistry,demonstrating significant electronic,coordination,geometric and synergistic *** enhancements dramatically improve the active site density,intrinsic activity and electrochemical durability of the *** summary,this work provides a solid foundation for the development of costeffective OER electrocatalysts for electrochemical energy devices.

The oil production of the multi-fractured horizontal wells(MFHWs) declines quickly in unconventional oil reservoirs due to the fast depletion of natural energy. Gas injection has been acknowledged as an effective method to improve oil recovery factor from unconventional oil reservoirs. Hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff becomes preferable when the CO_(2) source is limited. However, the impact of complex fracture networks and well interference on the EOR performance of multiple MFHWs is still unclear. The optimal gas huff-n-puff parameters are significant for enhancing oil recovery. This work aims to optimize the hydrocarbon gas injection and production parameters for multiple MFHWs with complex fracture networks in unconventional oil reservoirs. Firstly, the numerical model based on unstructured grids is developed to characterize the complex fracture networks and capture the dynamic fracture ***, the PVT phase behavior simulation was carried out to provide the fluid model for numerical simulation. Thirdly, the optimal parameters for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff were obtained. Finally, the dominant factors of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff under complex fracture networks are obtained by fuzzy mathematical method. Results reveal that the current pressure of hydrocarbon gas injection can achieve miscible displacement. The optimal injection and production parameters are obtained by single-factor analysis to analyze the effect of individual parameter. Gas injection time is the dominant factor of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff in unconventional oil reservoirs with complex fracture networks. This work can offer engineers guidance for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff of multiple MFHWs considering the complex fracture networks.

The electric submersible pump(ESP) is a crucial apparatus utilized for lifting in the oil extraction *** lifting capacity is enhanced by the multi-stage tandem structure, but variations in energy characteristics and internal flow across stages are also introduced. In this study, the inter-stage variability of energy characteristics in ESP hydraulic systems is investigated through entropy production(EP) analysis,which incorporates numerical simulations and experimental validation. The EP theory facilitates the quantification of energy loss in each computational subdomain at all ESP stages, establishing a correlation between microscopic flow structure and energy dissipation within the system. Furthermore, the underlying causes of inter-stage variability in ESP hydraulic systems are examined, and the advantages and disadvantages of applying the EP theory in this context are evaluated. Consistent energy characteristics within the ESP, aligned with the distribution of internal flow structure, are provided by the EP theory, as demonstrated by our results. The EP theory also enables the quantitative analysis of internal flow losses and complements existing performance analysis methods to map the internal flow structure to hydraulic losses. Nonetheless, an inconsistency between the energy characterization based on EP theory and the traditional efficiency index when reflecting inter-stage differences is identified. This inconsistency arises from the exclusive focus of the EP theory on flow losses within the flow field, disregarding the quantification of external energy input to the flow field. This study provides a reference for the optimization of EP theory in rotating machinery while deeply investigating the energy dissipation characteristics of multistage hydraulic system, which has certain theoretical and practical significance.

Post-earthquake rescue missions are full of challenges due to the unstable structure of ruins and successive *** of the current rescue robots lack the ability to interact with environments,leading to low rescue *** multimodal electronic skin(e-skin)proposed not only reproduces the pressure,temperature,and humidity sensing capabilities of natural skin but also develops sensing functions beyond it—perceiving object proximity and NO2 *** multilayer stacked structure based on Ecoflex and organohydrogel endows the e-skin with mechanical properties similar to natural *** robots integrated with multimodal e-skin and artificial intelligence(AI)algorithms show strong environmental perception capabilities and can accurately distinguish objects and identify human limbs through grasping,laying the foundation for automated post-earthquake ***,the combination of e-skin and NO2 wireless alarm circuits allows robots to sense toxic gases in the environment in real time,thereby adopting appropriate measures to protect trapped people from the toxic *** e-skin powered by AI algorithms and hardware circuits exhibits powerful environmental perception and information processing capabilities,which,as an interface for interaction with the physical world,dramatically expands intelligent robots’application scenarios.
