Objective To analyze the molecular coining of a fragile site-associated gene. Methods Genomic Chinese hamster ovary （CHO） DNA library was constructed using high molecular weight CHO DNA partially digested with MboI restriction enzyme from cultured CHO cells. Screening of genomic DNA library followed the established procedures. Genomic CHO in the positive clones was sequenced. Appropriate primers were designed for the reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reactions （RT-PCR）. The RT-PCR products were cloned into a pCRII TOPO vector and confirmed by DNA sequencing. Antibodies were prepared using synthetic peptides as antigens by immunizing the rabbits. Immunohistochemical analyses were performed to evaluate the expression of the novel gene in different tissues. Results To investigate the molecular mechanism underlying the initial events of mdrla amplification, we cloned lq31 fragile site DNA. Strikingly, we found that this fragile site contained a novel gene which was designated as a fragile site-associated （FSA） gene. FSA encoded an unusually large mRNA of - 16 kb. Full-length human FSA eDNA was cloned. FSA mRNA was expressed in many cultured cells and tissue types. Immunohistochemical analyses also revealed an expression pattern of the encoded proteins in postmitotic, well-differentiated epithelial compartments of many organs, including colon, mammary glands, ovary, prostate, and bladder. Conclusion FSA plays an important role in regulating mammalian epithelial cell growth and differentiation.

Assessment of culprit lesions by intravascular ultrasound in patients with acute myocardial infarction

Background Intravascular ultrasound has become the standard invasive method for diagnosing coronary artery disease. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the ability of intravascular ultrasound for assessment of culprit lesion morphology during primary percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） in patients with acute myocardial infarction （AMI）.Methods We performed 18 intravascular ultrasound assessments preintervention during the primary PCi for AMI. intravascular ultrasound analysis included qualitative and quantitative measurements of reference and lesion external elastic membrane （EEM）, lumen, and plaque plus media （P＆M） area. Positive remodeling was defined as lesion/mean reference EEM 〉1.0. Culprit lesions were identified by a combination of electrocardiogram （ECG） and coronary angiography.Results There was an average of- 1.44 infarct-related artery （IRA） plaques per patient. The incidences of thrombus and plaque ruptures were 28% （5） and 33% （6）, respectively. Hypoechoic plaque was observed in 72% （13） of AMI patients. Calcified lesions could be found in 33% （6） of culprit lesions. Sixty percent of the culprit lesion sites presented with positive remodeling.Conclusions Intravascular ultrasound is a safe and feasible imaging modality in patients with AMI and can help identify plaque rupture, intracoronary thrombus or calcification. The culprit lesion site in AMI cases often presents with positive remodeling.

The development of thrombus on the tricuspid valve is very rare. This report describes a case of acute pulmonary embolism （PE） with a mass on the tricuspid valve in a normal heart, detected by bedside transthoracic echocardiography （TTE）. After successful surgical management, the histopathological examination revealed the mass from the tricuspid valve to be mixed thrombus. The early use of bedside TTE can facilitate the prompt diagnosis and aggressive therapy when PE is suspected.

To apply the measurements of model experiment in water tunnel to the actual sailing condition, it is necessary to know accurately the strut effect and its rule. In the present work, the corresponding interferences of one-side strut and two-side strut on the natural cavitating flows around a submerged vehicle in water tunnel were investigated numerically, using the homogeneous equilibrium two-phase model coupled with a natural cavitation model. The numerical simulation results show that the strut types have distinct effects on the hydrodynamic properties. For the same given upstream velocity and downstream pressure, the existence of the strut leads to an increment of natural cavitation number, reduces the low-pressure region and depresses the pressure on the vehicle surface near the sides of strut. In the case of given cavitaiton number, the influences of the two-side strut on the drag and lift coefficients are both enhanced along with the increment of attack angle, however the influence of the one-side strut gradually gets stronger on the drag coefficient but weaker on the lift coefficient contrarily. In addition, based on the present numerical results, a correction method by introducing the sigmoidal logistic function is proposed to eliminate the interference from the foil-shaped strut.

This paper elaborates the chemical constituent change principles of deep geothermal fluid during the process of upward movement. It summarizes research methods of hydrochemistry, isotope and numerical modelling technique for the physiochemical processes such as decreasing temperature, shallow groundwater infusion, and degassing. The multi-component chemical geothermometry methods including gas geochemical method are discussed. High-temperature geothermal fields in China are mostly located in the southwest with frequent new tectonic movements, especially in Tibet high-temperature geothermal areas. Therefore the paper also focuses the status of high-temperature geothermal fluid research. At last, it's pointed out in the paper that in the future we can start from typical high-temperature geothermal zones and geothermal fields to explore optimization of the multi-component geothermometry method and use it in the reconstruction and analogue of the formation mechanism and internal relevancy of regional geothermal systems.

Application of 3D–DSA simulated surgical path in intracranial aneurysm clipping surgery

Background:Intracranial aneurysm is a common cerebrovascular disease, which cause wide concern by neurosurgeons. The 3D-DSA images simulated surgical path may improve the success rate of operation in bridging surgery of emergency ruptured intracranial ***: Eighteen patients with intracranial ruptured aneurysms that underwent craniotomy clipping surgery from January 2015 to January 2016 were included in this study. All patients were diagnosed with ruptured aneurysm and SAH, and 3 of them had concomitant hematoma. All patients were clipped in 3 days after diagnosis. Before clipping, the relevant information and data of the 3D-DSA images simulated surgical path were observed to guide intracranial aneurysm clipping ***: According to the information of the 3D-DSA images simulated surgical path, all aneurysms were clipped successfully. 1 patient died of vessel spasm, and the remaining patients recovered ***: The 3D-DSA images simulated surgical path could provide surgeons with a lot of information in bridging surgery of emergency ruptured intracranial aneurysms,and is significant to improve the success rate of operation.

带式输送机是重要的物料输送设备,长度达到十几公里甚至几十公里。针对现有的人工巡检的人力和物力及巡检劳动强度大、危险系数高等问题,提出了一套带式输送机巡检机器人系统设计方案,重点阐述分析系统设计功能的实现,此系统可以代替人工完成对长距离带式输送机的智能巡检,软件与硬件系统结合,相比于传统的人工巡检而言,可以最大限度减轻工人的劳动强度,续航时间达到了15 h以上,准确识别带式输送机常见故障,有利于保证煤矿安全生产。

Numerical investigation was conducted on an airship of hull-fin configuration for aerodynamic and aeroelastic characteristics in three-dimensional viscous *** mathematical model was built and the corresponding numerical code was developed for the fluid-structure interaction *** governing equations of the viscous flow with LL-Low Reynolds modified model were solved by the standard SIMPLE algorithm based on the finite volume method.A fluid-structure coupled method was employed to solve the nonlinear aeroelasticity problem for the *** computational results of the viscous flow are in good agreement with the experimental *** simulation on the aeroelastic behavior of the airship in a trimmed flight reveals the effect of structure flexibility on the aerodynamic performance.

Plant Temperature and Its Simulation Model of Thermo-Sensitive Genic Male Sterile Rice

Plant temperature （Tp） and its relations to the microclimate of rice colony and irrigation water were studied using a thermo-sensitive genic male sterile （TGMS） rice line, Pei＇ai 64S. Significant differences in the daily change of temperature were detected between Tp and air temperature at the height of 150 cm （TA）. From 8：00 to 20：00, Tp was lower than TA, but they were similar during 21：00 to next 7：00. The maximum Tp occurred one hour earlier than the maximum TA, though they both reached the minimum at 6：00. Tp fluctuated less than TA. At the same height, during 6：00-13：00, Tp was higher than air temperature （Ta）, and Tp reached the maximum one hour earlier than Ta. During the rest time on sunny day, Tp was close to or even a little lower than Ta. On overcast day, Tp was higher than Ta in the whole day, and both maximized at the same time. In addition, Tp was regulated by solar radiation, cloudage and wind speed in daytime, and by irrigation water at night. The present study indicated that a TA of 29.6℃ was the critical point, at which Tp was increased or decreased by irrigation water. Tp and the difference between water and air temperatures showed a conic relation. Tp fluctuation was also regulated by the absorption or reflection of solar radiation by leaves during daytime and release of heat energy during nighttime. By analysis on correlation and regression simulation, two models of Tp were established.
