Sturm-Liouville operators on a finite interval with discontinuities are considered. We give a uniqueness theorem for determining the potential and the parameters in boundary and under discontinuous conditions from a particular set of eigenvalues, and provide corresponding reconstruction algorithm, which can be applicable to McLaughlin-Rundell＇s uniqueness theorem （see J. Math. Phys. 28, 1987）.

The mechanical response of polyethylene nano-fibers with the same chain length but different chain numbers are studied by using steered molecular dynamics *** shrinking or stretching forces acted on the chain ends are investigated according to the chain-end distance and temperature under isothermal or continuous warming-cooling conditions,*** inflection point is found in the ForceDistance response when temperature is below 500 *** inflection point is related to the balance between entropy force and inter-monomer interaction and it reflects the strong effect of crystallization on the mechanical response of the *** force at inflection point is also affected by the buckling effect due to increased stiffness when crystallization *** two stages found in the Force-Temperature response and the difference between the shrinking and stretching forces indicate the hysteresis of crystallization and *** forces at different shrinking and stretching rates reveal the entropy contribution upon the mechanical response,indicated by the Ramachandran plot of *** chain-conformation entropy is majorly contributed by dihedrals and is quantified by the information entropy of dihedrals,which has a highly similarity to the mechanical Force-Temperature *** enlarged forces in multiple chains over a single chain are attributed to the enhanced dihedral-conformation *** study provides a new insight to the dynamically mechanical response of polymer nano-fibers according to the effect of crystallization and entropy contribution.

Theoretical analysis shows that the deviation roughness w and the lateral correlation length ζ of a weak scattering object determine the different properties of the contrast of the speckles in the image plane of a 4f system. Experimentally, we have measured the data of the speckle contrast versus the radius R of the variable filtering aperture. By fitting the theoretical results to these data, we extract the parameters w and ζ of the random surfaces with Gaussian correlation. This method can determine the two parameters simultaneously and independently, and pre-calibrations are not needed

We consider the inverse eigenvalue problems for stationary Dirac systems with differentiable selfadjoint matrix *** theorem of Ambarzumyan for a Sturm-Liouville problem is extended to Dirac operators,which are subject to separation boundary conditions or periodic(semi-periodic)boundary conditions,and some analogs of Ambarzumyan's theorem are *** proof is based on the existence and extremal properties of the smallest eigenvalue of corresponding vectorial Sturm-Liouville operators,which are the second power of Dirac operators.
