The utilization of iron coke provides a green pathway for low-carbon *** uncover the influence mechanism of iron ore on the behavior and kinetics of iron coke gasification,the effect of iron ore on the microstructure of iron coke was ***,a comparative study of the gasification reactions between iron coke and coke was conducted through non-isothermal thermogravimetric *** findings indicate that compared to coke,iron coke exhibits an augmentation in micropores and specific surface area,and the micropores further extend and *** provides more adsorption sites for CO_(2) molecules during the gasification process,resulting in a reduction in the initial gasification temperature of iron *** the heating rate in non-isothermal gasification can enhance the reactivity of iron *** metallic iron reduced from iron ore is embedded in the carbon matrix,reducing the orderliness of the carbon structure,which is primarily responsible for the heightened reactivity of the carbon *** kinetic study indicates that the random pore model can effectively represent the gasification process of iron coke due to its rich pore ***,as the proportion of iron ore increases,the activation energy for the carbon gasification gradually decreases,from 246.2 kJ/mol for coke to 192.5 kJ/mol for iron coke 15wt%.

Iron-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) have been received extensive attentions over the past years due to the low biotoxicity, multi-function, and wide applications. MIL-100(Fe) bearing unique structure has become the most popular Fe-based MOF up to now, and it is well-recognized as desirable environmental function material,especially for water purification. To provide systematic insight into MIL-100(Fe) for oriented design of novel materials, we review the recent progress and characteristics of MIL-100(Fe)-based materials, including MIL-100(Fe)-based composites, derivatives, and monoliths for water decontamination via adsorption, separation,and advanced oxidation processes(AOPs). Based on existing challenges and limitations discussed in this review,we further propose the future perspectives of MIL-100(Fe)-based materials for sustainable application in water remediation.

Exploring efficient and nonprecious metal electrocatalysts of oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is crucial for developing rechargeable zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,an alloying-degree control strategy was employed to fabricate nitrogen-doped carbon sphere(NCS)decorated with dual-phase Co/Co_(7)Fe_(3)heterojunctions(CoFe@NCS).The phase composition of materials has been adjusted by controlling the alloying *** optimal CoFe_(0.08)@NCS electrocatalyst displays a half-wave potential of 0.80 V for ORR and an overpotential of 283 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2)for OER in an alkaline *** intriguing bifunctional electrocatalytic activity and durability is attributed to the hierarchically porous structure and interfacial electron coupling of highly-active Co_(7)Fe_(3)alloy and metallic Co *** the CoFe_(0.08)@NCS material is used as air-cathode catalyst of rechargeable liquid-state zinc-air battery(ZAB),the device shows a high peak power-density(157 mW·cm^(-2))and maintains a stable voltage gap over 150 h,outperforming those of the benchmark(Pt/C+RuO_(2))-based *** particular,the as-fabricated solid-state flexible ZAB delivers a reliable compatibility under different bending *** work provides a promising strategy to develop metal/alloy-based electrocatalysts for the application in renewable energy conversion technologies.

This paper proposes a lightweight reinforcement network (LRN) and auxiliary label distribution learning (ALDL)based robust facial expression recognition (FER) *** designed representation reinforcement (RR) network mainly comprises two modules,i.e.,the RR module and the auxiliary label space construction (ALSC) *** RR module highlights key feature messaging nodes in feature maps,and ALSC allows multiple labels with different intensities to be linked to one ***,LRN has a more robust feature extraction capability when model parameters are greatly reduced,and ALDL is proposed to contribute to the training effect of LRN in the condition of ambiguous training *** tested our method on FER-Plus and RAF-DB datasets,and the experiment demonstrates the feasibility of our method in practice during rehabilitation robots.

The microstructural evolution of a cold-rolled and intercritical annealed medium-Mn steel(Fe-0.10C-5Mn)was investigated during uniaxial tensile ***-situ observations under scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and X-ray diffraction analysis were conducted to characterize the progressive transformation-induced plasticity process and associated fracture initiation *** findings were discussed with the local strain measurements via digital image *** results indicated that Lüders band formation in the steel was limited to 1.5%strain,which was mainly due to the early-stage martensitic phase transformation of a very small amount of the less stable large-sized retained austenite(RA),which led to localized stress concentrations and strain hardening and further retardation of *** small-sized RA exhibited high stability and progressively transformed into martensite and contributed to a stably extended Portevin-Le Chatelier *** volume fraction of RA gradually decreased from 26.8%to 8.2%prior to *** the late deformation stage,fracture initiation primarily occurred at the austenite/martensite and ferrite/martensite interfaces and the ferrite phase.

The conventional perception of astrocytes as mere supportive cells within the brain has recently been called into question by empirical evidence, which has revealed their active involvement in regulating brain function and encoding behaviors associated with ***, astrocytes in the basolateral amygdala have been found to play a role in the modulation of anxiety-like behaviors triggered by chronic stress. Nevertheless, the precise molecular mechanisms by which basolateral amygdala astrocytes regulate chronic stress–induced anxiety-like behaviors remain to be fully elucidated. In this study, we found that in a mouse model of anxiety triggered by unpredictable chronic mild stress, the expression of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 was upregulated in the basolateral amygdala. Interestingly, our findings indicate that the targeted knockdown of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 specifically within the basolateral amygdala astrocytes was able to rescue the anxiety-like behavior in mice subjected to stress. Furthermore, we found that the overexpression of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 in the basolateral amygdala, whether achieved through intracranial administration of excitatory amino acid transporter 2agonists or through injection of excitatory amino acid transporter 2-overexpressing viruses with GfaABC1D promoters, evoked anxiety-like behavior in mice. Our single-nucleus RNA sequencing analysis further confirmed that chronic stress induced an upregulation of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 specifically in astrocytes in the basolateral amygdala. Moreover, through in vivo calcium signal recordings, we found that the frequency of calcium activity in the basolateral amygdala of mice subjected to chronic stress was higher compared with normal *** knocking down the expression of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 in the basolateral amygdala, the frequency of calcium activity was not significantly increased, and anxiety-like behavior was ob

Polygala tenuifolia is a perennial medicinal plant that has been widely used in traditional Chinese medicine for treating mental ***,the lack of genomic resources limits the insight into its evolutionary and biological *** the present work,we reported the *** genome,the first genome assembly of the Polygalaceae *** sequenced and assembled this genome by a combination of Illumnina,PacBio HiFi,and Hi-C *** assembly includes 19 pseudochromosomes covering∼92.68%of the assembled genome(∼769.62 Mb).There are 36463 protein-coding genes annotated in this *** comparative genome anal-ysis revealed that *** experienced two rounds of whole genome duplication that occurred∼39–44 and∼18–20 million years ago,***,we systematically reconstructed ancestral chromosomes of *** and inferred its chromosome evolution trajectories from the common ancestor of core eudicots to the present *** on the transcriptomics data,enzyme genes and transcription factors involved in the synthesis of triterpenoid saponin in *** were *** analysis demonstrated that whole-genome duplications and tandem duplications play critical roles in the expansion of P450 and UGT gene families,which contributed to the synthesis of triterpenoid *** genome and transcriptome data will not only provide valuable resources for comparative and functional genomic researches on Polygalaceae,but also shed light on the synthesis of triterpenoid saponin.
