通过作者参加爱荷华大学作家工作坊(Iowa Writers’Workshop)两堂英语翻译课的经历,真实、细致地记录了该校作家工作坊的授课方式和特点,进而延宕到作家工作坊的创办历史、招生方式、教学内容等具体情况。通过工作坊的课程安排与国内高校创写专业课程的比较,从小切口反思了中外创意写作教学中存在的一些共性问题和个性问题,并对中外地域性写作做了剖析,一方面地域性写作的共性叙事主题与美学风格在不断彰显中呈现出新的气象,超越了个体表达的局限性。另外一方面,对写作者按地域分类忽略了小说作为一种艺术表达方式的个性。

This study deals with the recycling of carbon steel slag (CSS) to produce self-consolidating concrete (SCC). Since the chemical composition of CSS is similar to that of Portland cement or blast furnace slag (BFS), it is expected to behave similarly. In the current study, the pozzolanic activity index of CSS is examined. Furthermore, the use of CSS as a pozzolanic material to partially replace Portland cement in the production of SCC is tested. We designed concrete mixtures with different water-tocementitious material ratios (w/cm) keeping water and superplasticizer (SP) contents constant. Results showed that the design and performance of all the concrete mixtures used in this investigation were comparable to those of SCC and high performance concrete (HPC). However, compared to ordinary plain concrete (OPC), the additional CSS content increases the setting time. In the CSS mixtures set for 90 d, compressive strengths of 86%, 134% and 121% were attained as compared to the control concrete; the corresponding w/cm ratios were 0.28, 0.32 and 0.40, respectively. Verifying the soundness of the SCC for meeting the criteria for HPC, the ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) of CSS was found to be comparable to that of ordinary concrete. In conclusion, the recycling of CSS can be advantageously employed in the production of SCC.

Heavy concrete currently used for construction contains special materials that are expensive and difficult to work *** study replaced natural aggregate（stones） in concrete with round steel balls,which are inexpensive and easily *** diameters of the steel balls were 0.5 and 1 cm,and their density was 7.8 kg/*** packing mixture methods were used to produce heavy concrete with densities of 3500 and 5000 kg/*** various properties of this concrete were tested according to the standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials（ASTM）.The results indicated that the construction slump of the concrete could reach 260-280 mm and its slump flow could reach 610-710 *** important,its compressive strength could reach 8848 *** results will significantly alter traditional construction methods that use heavy concrete and enhance innovative ideas for structural design.

The buildup of oxygen in the Earth＇s atmosphere and oceans has fundamentally reshaped the dynamics of nearly all major biogeochemical cycles and ultimately paved the way for the diversification of complex life on Earth. Over the past decades there have been sustained efforts to develop a more comprehensive understanding of ocean-atmosphere redox evolution and its relationship to the evolution of early life （Fig. 1）. It is generally accepted that the development of oxygenic photosynthesis at ~2.7 Ga may have been responsible for the Great Oxidation Event （GOE） at the beginning of the Proterozoic Eon, whereas a second big O2 rise at the end of the Proterozoic Eon （the so-called Neoproterozoic Oxidation Event or NOE） was responsible for the diversification of metazoans （Lyons et al., 2014）.

A ceramic coating containing Cu element was prepared on Ti6Al4V alloy using micro-arc oxidation（MAO）*** copper ions were added to the electrolyte solution of aluminate salt,the anode voltage in MAO process reduces,and the micropore size on the surface of the ceramic coating is more *** crystalline phases of the ceramic coatings prepared in the electrolyte solutions with and without copper ions are mainly Ti element,rutile TiO_2,and anatase TiO_*** addition of copper ions to the electrolyte solution makes rutile TiO_2 content decrease but promotes the formation of Al_2TiO_5 *** spectrum test results confirm that by adding copper ions to the electrolyte solution,the ceramic coating formed in the process of MAO contains copper element.

P2P网络借贷借款人违约风险影响因素研究

借助于互联网信息技术的发展,P2P网络借贷推动了互联网金融以及普惠金融的发展,有关平台、出借人如何做出准确风险评估、防范借款人违约风险变得尤为重要。本文以融360平台提供的4738名借款人借贷数据为研究样本,运用Logistic回归模型分析借款人违约风险的关键因素,就违约借款人的具体特征以及其影响因素展开分析。研究结果表明:在还款能力方面,经济特征中借款人总收入、总支出、工资收入因素对借款人是否发生违约有显著影响;在还款意愿方面,性别、借款额度、借款金额以及拖欠金额对借款人违约风险产生显著影响;在线上浏览行为方面,借款人最少浏览网页数量和网站访问次数是P2P网络借贷借款人违约风险显著因素。因此,风险监管部门应建立关键信息共享机制,明确审查范围,落实审查重点,通过建立违约风险评估模型降低平台和出借人的经济损失,推动P2P网络借贷行业的健康发展。

Aerodynamic performance of hovering micro revolving wings in ground and ceiling effects at low Reynolds number

Numerous investigations have been conducted to understand the wall effects on *** purpose of this study is to further investigate the aerodynamic performance of revolving wings,especially when it is very close to the ground and ceiling(i.e.,less than half the wingspan)at low Reynolds ***,the ground and ceiling effect for hovering micro revolving wings at low Reynolds numbers are investigated by improving the theoretical *** theoretical model for the ground effect is established based on the wall-jet assumption,and that for the ceiling effect is improved by considering the uneven spanwise distribution of induced *** two models are validated by comparing the results of experiments and CFD simulations with the Lattice-Boltzmann Method(LBM).Both ground and ceiling effects are found helpful to enhance the thrust,especially with small wing-wall distances,by making a difference to the induced velocity and the pressure *** comparing the thrust generation and aerodynamic efficiency between the ground and ceiling effects,the former is found more helpful to the thrust augmentation,and the latter is more beneficial for the aerodynamic efficiency promotion.

To achieve compact structure, light weight, and high thermal efficiency for the coal-fired boiler, the supercritical CO_2 power cycle has been considered as one of the promising alternatives in the coal-fired power conversion system. One of the major problems concerning fossil fuel powered plants is the safety of the water wall in boiler design. In this work, the heat transfer characteristics of the supercritical CO_2 tube in the combustion chamber were determined through the low Reynolds number k-ε model, the gas real model and the P-1 radiation model. The study covered the supercritical CO_2 tube and the fins, and the annulus flue gas passage was also included. The wall temperature and the heat transfer coefficient were compared against those obtained from the experiments. Based on the examinations of the calculated flow and turbulence fields, the distributions of the velocity and the temperature inside the supercritical CO_2 tube in the combustion chamber were resolved numerically. Moreover, the effects of the heat transfer coefficient on the heat transfer characteristics were also discussed. And it was numerically focused on the influence of the inclined angle on the flow and the heat transfer of the supercritical CO_2 tube. The results show that the heat transfer coefficient keeps namely constant as the increasing inclined angle. It would help to better understand the heat transfer mechanism of unique characteristics of supercritical CO_2 above the pseudo-critical temperature, which may provide the corresponding theoretical basis on the optimization design of the coal-fired boiler.

Comprehensive Summary The strategy of removable glycosylation modification was used to overcome the low-efficiency problem encountered in the chemical synthesis of the mirror-image D-version of the immunoglobulin(Ig)-like domain of tropomyosin receptor kinase A(DlgCTrkA),a protein molecule needed for mirror-image screening of D-peptide ligands targeting this cell membrane *** was found that O-linked-β-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine(O-GlcNAc)modification at^(D)Ser^(312),or^(D)Ser^(320)can significantly improve the efficiency of DlgCTrkA synthesis and folding,while O-GlcNAc modification at^(D)Ser^(330)showed barely any *** study provides a new example demonstrating the power of the removable glycosylation modification strategy in the chemical synthesis and folding of difficult-to-obtain *** also presents evidence that removable glycosylation modification at different sites would significantly affect the efficiency of protein folding promoted by this strategy.
