This work surveys and illustrates multiple open challenges in the field of industrial Internet of Things(IoT)-based big data management and analysis in cloud *** arising from the fields of machine learning in cloud infrastructures,artificial intelligence techniques for big data analytics in cloud environments,and federated learning cloud systems are ***,reinforcement learning,which is a novel technique that allows large cloud-based data centers,to allocate more energy-efficient resources is ***,we propose an architecture that attempts to combine the features offered by several cloud providers to achieve an energy-efficient industrial IoT-based big data management framework(EEIBDM)established outside of every user in the *** data can be integrated with techniques such as reinforcement and federated learning to achieve a digital twin scenario for the virtual representation of industrial IoT-based big data of machines and room ***,we propose an algorithm for determining the energy consumption of the infrastructure by evaluating the EEIBDM ***,future directions for the expansion of this research are discussed.

Participants in mixed-species bird flocks(MSFs)have been shown to associate with species that are similar in body size,diet,and evolutionary history,suggesting that facilitation structures these *** addition,several studies have suggested that species in MsFs resemble each other in their plumage,but this question has not been systematically investigated for any MsF *** the nonbreeding season of 2020 and 2021,we sampled 585 MSFs on 14 transects in 2 habitats of Tongbiguang Nature Reserve in western Yunnan Province,*** performed social network analysis and the Multiple Regression Quadratic Assignment Procedure to evaluate the effect of 4 species traits(body size,overall plumage color,distinctive plumage patterns,and diet)and evolutionary history on species association strength at the whole-MSF and within-MSF *** 41 significant relationships showed that species with stronger associations were more similar in their various *** size had the strongest effect on association strength,followed by phylogeny,plumage patterns,and plumage color;diet had the weakest *** results are consistent with the hypotheses that the benefits of associating with phenotypically similar species outweigh the potential costs of interspecific competition,and that trait matching can occur in plumage characteristics,albeit more weakly than in other *** explanations exist as to why similarities in plumage may occur in MSFs,including that they could reduce predators'ability to target phenotypically"odd"*** trait matching in plumage occurs through assortative processes in ecological time or is influenced by co-evolution requires furtherstudy.

The combination of urbanization and global warming leads to urban overheating and compounds the frequency and intensity of extreme heat events due to climate ***,the risk of urban overheating can be mitigated by urban green-blue-grey infrastructure(GBGI),such as parks,wetlands,and engineered greening,which have the potential to effectively reduce summer air *** many reviews,the evidence bases on quantified GBGI cooling benefits remains partial and the practical recommendations for implementation are *** systematic literature review synthesizes the evidence base for heat mitigation and related co-benefits,identifies knowledge gaps,and proposes recommendations for their implementation to maximize their *** screening 27,486 papers,202 were reviewed,based on 51 GBGI types categorized under 10 main *** GBGI(green walls,parks,street trees)have been well researched for their urban cooling ***,several other GBGI have received negligible(zoological garden,golf course,estuary)or minimal(private garden,allotment)*** most efficient air cooling was observed in botanical gardens(5.0±3.5℃),wetlands(4.9±3.2℃),green walls(4.1±4.2℃),street trees(3.8±3.1℃),and vegetated balconies(3.8±2.7℃).Under changing climate conditions(2070–2100)with consideration of RCP8.5,there is a shift in climate subtypes,either within the same climate zone(e.g.,Dfa to Dfb and Cfb to Cfa)or across other climate zones(e.g.,Dfb[continental warm-summer humid]to BSk[dry,cold semi-arid]and Cwa[temperate]to Am[tropical]).These shifts may result in lower efficiency for the current GBGI in the *** the importance of multiple services,it is crucial to balance their functionality,cooling performance,and other related co-benefits when planning for the future *** global GBGI heat mitigation inventory can assist policymakers and urban planners in prioritizing effective interventions to reduce the risk of urban overheating,fi

This paper investigates and discusses the use of information divergence,through the widely used Kullback–leibler(Kl)divergence,under the multivariate(generalized)γ-order normal distribution(γ-GND).The behavior of the Kl divergence,as far as its symmetricity is concerned,is studied by calculating the divergence of γ-GND over the Student’s multivariate t-distribution and vice *** special cases are also given and ***,three symmetrized forms of the Kl divergence,i.e.,the Jeffreys distance,the geometric-Kl as well as the harmonic-Kl distances,are computed between two members of the γ-GND family,while the corresponding differences between those information distances are also discussed.

Graphene oxide（GO） holds great promise for a broad array of applications in many fields,but also poses serious potential risks to human health and the *** this study,the adsorptive properties of GO toward Ca^（2＋） and Na＋were investigated using batch adsorption experiments,zeta potential measurements,and spectroscopic *** pH increased from 4 to 9,Ca^（2＋）adsorption by GO and the zeta potential of GO increased *** spectra suggest that Ca^（2＋）was strongly adsorbed on the GO via –COO Ca~＋ *** the other hand,Na＋was adsorbed into the electrical diffuse layer as an inert counterion to increase the diffuse layer zeta *** the GO suspension became unstable with increasing pH from 4 to 10 in the presence of Ca^（2＋）,it was more stable at higher pH in the NaC l *** findings of this research provide insights in the adsorption of Ca^（2＋）on GO and fundamental basis for prediction of its effect on the colloidal stability of GO in the environment.

The circadian clock regulates the expression of an array of Arabidopsis genes such as those encoding the lIGHT-HARVESTING CHlOROPHYll A/B （lhcb） proteins. We have previously studied the promoters of two of these Arabidopsis genes-lhcb1＊1 and lhcb1＊3m-and identified a sequence that binds the clock protein CIRCADIAN ClOCK ASSOCIATED 1 （CCA1）. This sequence, designated CCAl-binding site （CBS）, is necessary for phytochrome and circadian responsiveness of these genes. In close proximity to this sequence, there exists a G-box core element that has been shown to bind the bZIP transcription factor HY5 in other light-regulated plant promoters. In the present study, we examined the importance of the interaction of transcription factors binding the CBS and the G-box core element in the control of normal circadian rhythmic expression of lhcb genes. Our results show that HY5 is able to specifically bind the G-box element in the lhcb promoters and that CCA1 can alter the binding activity of HY5. We further show that CCA1 and HY5 can physically interact and that they can act synergistically on transcription in a yeast reporter gene assay. An absence of HY5 leads to a shorter period of lhcbl＊l circadian expression but does not affect the circadian expression of CATAlASE3 （CAT3）, whose promoter lacks a G-box element. Our results suggest that interaction of the HY5 and CCA1 proteins on lhcb promoters is necessary for normal circadian expression of the lhcb genes.

Sweet cherries,Prunus avium l.(Rosaceae),are gaining importance due to their perenniallity and nutritional attributes beneficial for human ***,sweet cherry cultivars exhibit a wide range of phenotypic diversity in important agronomic traits,such as flowering time and defense reactions against *** this study,wholegenome resequencing(WGRS)was employed to characterize genetic variation,population structure and allelic variants in a panel of 20 sweet cherry and one wild cherry genotypes,embodying the majority of cultivated Greek germplasm and a representative of a local wild cherry elite *** 21 genotypes were sequenced in an average depth of coverage of 33.91×.and effective mapping depth,to the genomic reference sequence of‘Satonishiki’cultivar,between 22.21×to 36.62×.Discriminant analysis of principal components(DAPC)with SNPs revealed two clusters of *** was a rapid linkage disequilibrium decay,as the majority of SNP pairs with r2 in near complete disequilibrium(>0.8)were found at physical distances less than 10 *** analysis of the variants showed that the genomic ratio of non-synonymous/synonymous(dN/dS)changes was *** higher dN frequency in the Greek cohort of sweet cherry could be the result of artificial selection pressure imposed by breeding,in combination with the vegetative propagation of domesticated cultivars through *** majority of SNPs with high impact(e.g.,stop codon gaining,frameshift),were identified in genes involved in flowering time,dormancy and defense reactions against pathogens,providing promising resources for future breeding *** study has established the foundation for further large scale characterization of sweet cherry germplasm,enabling breeders to incorporate diverse germplasm and allelic variants to fine tune flowering and maturity time and disease resistance in sweet cherry cultivars.

Bridging laboratory research and practical utilization is of crucial importance for the development of green ammonia synthetic technologies. A decentralized photo-assisted electrochemical-based demonstrator has been proposed for green ammonia synthesis from renewable electricity, air and water, where well-known defect-laden WO_(3) is used as the working electrode, and a commercially available PV panel supplies renewable electricity. In this demonstrator, defect-laden WO_(3) exhibits the optimum electrochemical NH_(3) formation rate(4.51 × 10^(-12)mol s^(-1)cm^(-2)) in 0.1 M K_(2)SO_(4)in a photovoltaic electrochemical(PV-EC) system. A system-level energy and cost analysis was conducted to investigate its economic viability and a general evaluation tool for system performance and cost estimation was proposed. This advance enables the possibility of integrating the small-scale green ammonia demonstrator into a stand-alone farm system.
