We study the theoretical constraints on a model whose scalar sector contains one color octet and one or two color singlet SU(2)L *** ensure unitarity of the theory,we constrain the parameters of the scalar potential for the first time at the next-to-leading order in perturbation ***,we derive new conditions guaranteeing the stability of the *** employ the HEPfit package to extract viable parameter regions at the electroweak scale and test the stability of the renormalization group evolution up to the multi-TeV ***,we set upper limits on the scalar mass *** results are given for both cases with and without a second scalar color singlet.

Previously we identified a major cotton fiber strength QTL(qFS-c7-1)on chromosome A07 using a multiparent advanced generation intercross(MAGIc)*** assess the stability and transferability of this QTL and its utility in cotton breeding,we made ten new *** populations were developed from crosses between MAGIc recombinant inbred lines,or between cotton cultivars that are different from the MAGIc parents.A total of 2801 F_(2) plants were grown and their fiber quality traits were *** also selected a subset of F_(3) seeds from two populations,and grew F_(3) progeny plots to further evaluate the stability of this *** results showed that the peak of qFS-c7-1 is at 70–72 Mb *** QTL had a major effect on fiber strength explaining 21.9%phenotypic *** effect on other fiber quality attributes such as micronaire,short fiber content,length and uniformity varied between populations,and no effect on fiber elongation was *** QTL effects were stable in the populations analyzed,and in different generations of the same *** SSR and SNP markers near and within the QTL peak reported herein will assist selecting superior fiber quality traits in breeding,with a recommendation that the parental cotton lines should be analyzed using the seven DNA markers within the QTL peak before fully implementing marker assisted selection in a cotton breeding program.

It has been demonstrated that even localized tumors withottt chnically apparent metastasis give rise to circulating tumor cells （cTcs）. A growing number of technically diverse platforms are being developed for detecting/isolating cTcs in the circulating blood. Despite the technical challenges of isolating rare cTcs from blood, recent studies have already shown the predictive value of cTcs enumeration. Thus, it is becoming increasingly accepted that cTc numbers are linked to patients＇ outcome and may also be used to monitor treatment response and disease relapse, respectively. Further cTcs provide a non-invasive source for tumor material, ＇liquid biopsy＇, which is particularly important for patients, where no biopsy material can be obtained or where serial biopsies of the tumor, e.g., following treatment, are practically impossible. On the other hand the molecular and biological characterization of cTcs has still remained at a rather experimental stage. Future studies are necessary to define cTc heterogeneity to establish the crucial role of circulating cancer stem cells for driving metastasis, which represent a distinct subpopulation of cTcs that bear metastasis-initiating capabilities based on their sternness properties and invasiveness and thus are critical for the patients＇ clinical outcome. As compared to non-tumorigenic/metastatic bulk cTcs, circulating cancer stem cells may not only be capable of evading from the primary tumor, but also escape from immune surveillance, survive in the circulating blood and subsequently form metastases in distant organs. Thus, circulating cancer stem cells represent a subset of exclusively tumorigenic cancer stem cells characterized by their invasive characteristics and are potential therapeutic targets for preventing disease progression. The advent of lumen apposing metal stents(LAMS)has revolutionized the management of many complex gastroenterological conditions that previously required surgical or radiological *** procedures have garnered popularity due to their minimally invasive nature,higher technical and clinical success rate and lower rate of adverse *** virtue of their unique design,LAMS provide more efficient drainage,serve as conduit for endoscopic access,are associated with lower rates of leakage and are easy to be *** used for drainage of pancreatic fluid collections,the use of LAMS has been extended to gallbladder and biliary drainage,treatment of luminal strictures,creation of gastrointestinal fistulae,pancreaticobiliary drainage,improved access for surgically altered anatomy,and drainage of intra-abdominal and pelvic abscesses as well as post-surgical fluid *** new indications of endosonographic techniques and LAMS continue to evolve,this review summarizes the current role of LAMS in the management of these various complex conditions and also highlights clinical pearls to guide successful placement of LAMS.

The H atom production channels in the ultraviolet （UV） photochemistry of m-pyridyl radical （m-c5H4N） were investigated at excitation wavelengths from 224 nm to 248 nm by high-n Rydberg atom time-of-flight （HRTOF） technique. The photofragment yield （PFY） spectrum of the H atoms indicates a broad UV absorption feature near 234 nm. The product kinetic energy release is small; the average product kinetic energy at the wavelengths from 224 nm to 248 nm is 0.12 to 0.19 of the maximum excess energy （assuming the lowest energy product channel, H＋cyanovinylacetylene）. The product kinetic energy distributions are consistent with the H cyanovinylacetylene, H 3,4-pyridyne, and H 2,3-pyridyne product channels, with H cyanovinylacetylene as the main H-loss channel. The angular distributions of the H-atom products are isotropic. After the UV electronic excitation, the m-pyridyl radical undergoes internal conversion to the ground electronic state and then unimolecular dissoci-ation to the H cyanovinylacetylene, H 3,4-pyridyne, and H 2,3-pyridyne products. The dissociation mechanism of the m-pyridyl radical is similar to that of the o-pyridyl radical reported in the early study.

Fatty acid binding and oxidation kinetics for wild type P450_(BM3)(cYP102A1)from Bacillus megaterium have been found to display chain length-dependent homotropic *** and 13-methyl-myristate display Michaelis-Menten behavior while there are slight deviations with myristate at low ionic *** shows Michaelis-Menten kinetics and hyperbolic binding behavior in 100 mmol/L phosphate,pH 7.4,but sigmoidal kinetics(with an apparent intercept)in low ionic strength buffers and at physiological phosphate *** low ionic strength buffers both the heme domain and the full-length enzyme show complex palmitate binding behavior that indicates a minimum of four fatty acid binding sites,with high cooperativity for the binding of the fourth palmitate molecule,and the full-length enzyme showing tighter palmitate binding than the heme *** first flavin-to-heme electron transfer is faster for laurate,myristate and palmitate in 100 mmol/L phosphate than in 50mmol/L Tris(pH 7.4),yet each substrate induces similar high-spin heme *** palmitate in low phosphate buffer concentrations,the rate constant of the first electron transfer is much larger than *** results suggest that phosphate has a specific effect in promoting the first electron transfer step,and that P450_(BM3) could modulate Bacillus membrane morphology and fluidity via palmitate oxidation in response to the external phosphate concentration.

This study examines the impact of cash crop cultivation on household income and migration decisions,using survey data collected from low-income regions in *** farmers decide themselves whether to cultivate cash crops,an endogenous treatment regression model that accounts for potential selection bias issue is used to analyze the *** empirical results show that cash crop cultivation exerts a positive and statistically significant impact on household income,but it does not affect household migration decisions *** disaggregated analyses reveal that cash crop cultivation significantly increases farm income but decreases off-farm income.

Pure nano-All3 and aggregates at various concentrations were prepared to examine the particle size effect of coagulation with inorganic polymer flocculant. The property and stability of various species formed were characterized using Infrared, 27Al-NMR, photo correlation spectroscopy （PcS）, and Ferron assay. Results showed that concentration and temperature exhibited different roles on the stability of Al13. The quantity of Alb species analyzed by ferron assay in the initial aging period corresponded well with that of Al13, which has been confirmed in a dimension range of 1-2 nm by PcS. Al13 solutions at high concentrations （0.5-2.11 tool/L） were observed to undergo further aggregation with aging. The aggregates with a wide particle size distribution would contribute to the disappeared/decreased Al13 basis on the eTA1-NMR spectrum, whereas a part of Al13 would still remain as Alb. At low concentrations, All3 solution was quite stable at normal temperature, but lost its stability quickly when heating to 90~c.
