Despite the discovery of a series of fullerenes and a handful of noncarbon clusters with the typical topology of Ih-C60, the smallest fullerene with a large degree of curvature, C20, and its other-element counterparts are difficult to isolate experimentally. In coinage metal nanoclusters（NCs）, the first all-gold fullerene, Au32, was discovered after a long-lasting pursuit, but the isolation of similar silvery fullerene structures is still challenging. Herein, we report a flying saucer-shaped 102-nuclei silver NC（Ag102） with a silvery fullerene kernel of Ag32, which is embraced by a robust cyclic anionic passivation layer of（KPO4）10. This Ag32kernel can be viewed as a non-centered icosahedron Ag12encaged into a dodecahedron Ag20, forming the silvery fullerene of Ag12@Ag20. The anionic layer（KPO4）10is located at the interlayer between the Ag32kernel and Ag70shell, passivating the Ag32silvery fullerene and templating the Ag70shell. The ~tBuPhS-and CF3COO-ligands on the silver shell show a regioselective arrangement with the 60 ~tBuPhS-ligands as expanders covering the upper and lower of the flying saucer and 10 CF3COO-as terminators neatly encircling the edges of the structure. In addition, Ag102 shows excellent photothermal conversion efficiency（η） from the visible to near-infrared region（η = 67.1% ± 0.9% at 450 nm, 60.9% ± 0.9% at 660 nm and 50.2% ± 0.5% at 808 nm）, rendering it a promising material for photothermal converters and potential application in remote laser ignition. This work not only captures silver kernels with the topology of the smallest fullerene C20, but also provides a pathway for incorporating alkali metal（m） into coinage metal NCs via m-oxoanions.

As an interdisciplinary product,water-soluble gold nanoclusters(AuNCs)stabilized by ligands containing carboxyl(-COOH)group have garnered significant attention from synthetic chemists and biologists due to their immense potential for biomedical ***,revealing the crystallographic structures of-COOH-functionalized AuNCs remains a ***,we successfully applied the salting-out method to obtain a series of high-quality single crystals of-COOH-functionalized Au_(25)nanoclusters and revealed their crystallographic ***,K_(3)Au_(25)(2-Hmna)_9(mna)_6]^(-)(Au25a)protected by 2-mercaptonicotinic acid features an unprecedented tetrameric Au_(4)(SR^(S))_(3)(SR^(S,N))_(2)staple motifs surrounding the icosahedral Au_(13)kernel,breaking the traditional perception on the structure of Au_(25)(SR)_(18).Au25a exhibits a distinct near-infrared emission at 970 nm with long lifetime of 8690 ns,which have been studied by transient absorption spectroscopy and time-dependent density functional *** work compensates for the research gap in the experimental structure of-COOHfunctionalized AuNCs and opens up a new avenue to explore their structure-property correlations.

Background: Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) is known to alter tissues of the orbital cavity, including the optic nerve. However, its effect on measured global Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer (gRNFL) is not well elucidated. This case evaluates the effect of teprotumumab on gRNFL in a patient with moderate TED. Observations: A 60-year-old female with controlled ocular hypertension and moderate TED received 8 standard IV teprotumumab infusions. Comprehensive ocular evaluations were performed pre-, during-, and post-treatment. Bilateral gRNFL thickness decreased (10 m OD;12 m OS) at 4 months post-treatment start, persisting at 8 months, but recovered at 20 months. Conclusions and Importance: Teprotumumab treatment in patients with TED led to a transient bilateral decrease in gRNFL thickness, which was restored to baseline levels with no adverse events reported. monitoring gRNFL changes in teprotumumab-treated patients is crucial as gRNFL thinning indicates retinal ganglion cell damage. Teprotumumabs ability to dampen the IGF-IR inflammatory cascade may have reduced retinal inflammation, leading to recovery.

BACKGROUND Ureteropelvic junction obstruction(UPJO)is a common congenital urinary tract disorder in *** can be diagnosed as early as in utero due to the presence of hydronephrosis or later in life due to symptomatic *** To evaluate the discrepancy between dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance urography(dmRU)and scintigraphy 99m-technetium mercaptoacetyltriglycine(mAG-3)for the functional evaluation of *** Between 2016 and 2020,126 patients with UPJO underwent surgery at Robert Debré*** these,83 received a prenatal diagnosis,and 43 were diagnosed during *** of the 126 patients underwent surgery based on the clinical situation and postnatal ultrasound findings without undergoing functional imaging *** renal function was evaluated preoperatively using scintigraphy mAG-3(n=28),dmRU(n=53),or both(n=40).In this study,we included patients who underwent surgery for UPJO and scintigraphy mAG-3+dmRU but excluded those who underwent only scintigraphy mAG-3 or *** patients were divided into groups A(10%discrepancy).We examined the discrepancy in split renal function between the two modalities and investigated the possible risk *** The split renal function between the two kidneys was compared in 40 patients(28 boys and 12 girls)using scintigraphy mAG-3 and *** renal function,as determined using both modalities,showed a difference of10%in 9 *** of the relative renal function using dmRU revealed an excellent correlation coefficient with renal scintigraphy mAG-3 for both *** Our findings demonstrated that dmRU is equivalent to scintigraphy mAG-3 for evaluating split renal function in patients with UPJO.

Background:Newly diagnosed breast cancer patients experience symptoms that may affect their quality of life,treatment outcomes,and *** and managing breast cancer-related symptoms soon after diagnosis is *** purpose of this study was to investigate the associations between health-related fitness(HRF)and patient-reported symptoms in newly diagnosed breast cancer ***:This study utilized baseline data from the Alberta moving Beyond Breast Cancer Cohort Study that were collected within 90 days of *** measures included peak cardiopulmonary fitness(peak volume of oxygen consumption(VO_(2peak))),maximal muscular strength and endurance,flexibility,and body *** measures included depression,sleep quality,and *** multivariable logistic regression was performed for ***:Of 1458 participants,51.5%reported poor sleep quality,26.5%reported significant fatigue,and 10.4%reported moderate *** multivariable-adjusted models,lower relative VO_(2peak)was independently associated with a greater likelihood of all symptom measures,including moderate depression(pmptom(pmultiple symptoms(pmonstrated threshold associations with all symptom measures such that all 3 lower quartiles exhibited similar elevated risk compared to the highest *** strength of the threshold associations varied by the symptom measure with odds ratios ranging from-1.5 for poor sleep quality to-3.0 for moderate depression and multiple ***,lower relative upper body muscular endurance was also independently associated with fatigue in a dose-response manner(p=0.001),and higher body weight was independently associated with poor sleep quality in an inverted U pattern(p=0.021).Conclusion:Relative VO_(2peak)appears to be a critical HRF component associated with multiple patient-reported symptoms in newly diag
