Pyridine nucleotides, ascorbate and glutath.one are major redox metabolites in plant cells, with.specific roles in cellular redox h.meostasis and th. regulation of th. cell cycle. h.wever, th. regulation of th.se metabolite pools during exponential growth.and th.ir precise functions in th. cell cycle remain to be ch.racterized. Th. present analysis of th. abundance of ascorbate, glutath.one, and pyridine nucleotides during exponential growth.of Arabidopsis cells in culture provides evidence for th. differential regulation of each.of th.se redox pools. Ascorbate was most abundant early in th. growth.cycle, but glutath.one was low at th.s point. Th. cellular ascorbate to deh.droascorbate and reduced glutath.one （GSh. to glutath.one disulph.de ratios were h.gh.and constant but th. pyridine nucleotide pools were largely oxidized over th. period of exponential growth.and only became more reduced once growth.h.d ceased. Th. glutath.one pool increased in parallel with.poly （ADP-ribose） polymerase （PARP） activities and with.increases in th. abundance of PARP1 and PARP2 mRNAs at a time of h.gh.cell cycle activity as indicated by transcriptome information. Marked ch.nges in th. intracellular partitioning of GSh.between th. cytoplasm and nucleus were observed. Extension of th. exponential growth.ph.se by dilution or ch.nging th. media led to increases in th. glutath.one and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, oxidized form （NAD）-plus-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, reduced form （NADh. pools and to h.gh.r NAD/NADh.ratios but th. nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide ph.sph.te, oxidized form （NADP）-plus-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide ph.sph.te, reduced form （NADPh. pool sizes, and NAPD/NADPh.ratios were much.less affected. Th. ascorbate, glutath.one, and pyridine nucleotide pools and PARP activity decreased before th. exponential growth.ph.se ended. Th. retention of dense and well-functioning microbial biomass is crucial for effective pollutant removal in several biological wastewater treatment *** solids retention is often ach.eved th.ough.aggregation of microbial communities into dense,sph.rical aggregates known as granules,wh.ch.were initially discovered in th. *** granules h.ve since been widely applied in upflow anaerobic digesters for waste-to-energy ***,granular biomass h.s been applied in aerobic wastewater treatment and anaerobic ammonium oxidation(anammox)*** mech.nisms underpinning th. formation of meth.nogenic,aerobic,and anammox granules are th. subject of ongoing *** each.granule type h.s been extensively studied in isolation,th.re h.s been a lack of comparative studies among th.se granulation *** is likely th.t th.re are some unifying concepts th.t are sh.red by all th.ee sludge *** th.se unifying concepts could allow a unified th.ory of granulation to be ***,we review th. granulation mech.nisms of meth.nogenic,aerobic,and anammox granular sludge,h.gh.igh.ing several common concepts,such.as th. role of extracellular polymeric substances,cations,and operational parameters like upflow velocity and sh.ar *** h.ve th.n identified some unique features of each.granule type,such.as different internal structures,microbial compositions,and quorum sensing ***,we propose th.t future research.sh.uld prioritize aspects of microbial ecology,such.as community assembly or interspecies interactions in individual granules during th.ir formation and growth.

与对低温不敏感的粳稻台北309和武育粳相比,对低温敏感的籼稻IR64、CA212和Pusa经光照条件下8℃处理后最大光合速率(Pmax)和原初光化学效率(Fv/Fm)下降较多,出现了O2-·、过氧化氢、氧化型谷胱甘肽(GSSG)和氧化型抗坏血酸(Dh.)的大量累积,其GSSG和Dh.的含量分别与叶绿素含量的下降呈极显著负相关,表明光照条件下低温胁迫下,还原态的谷胱甘肽(GSh.和抗坏血酸的再生受阻,不能有效地清除活性氧,导致其叶绿素含量降低和光合能力受抑,而汕优63的变化位于上述两种类型之间。其中AsA/Dh.和GSh.GSSG的变化与叶绿素含量的变化呈极显著正相关。

Ambient air pollution in Ch.na h.s worsened following dramatic increases in industrialization, automobile use and energy consumption. Particularly both.rsome is th. increase in th. PM2.5 fraction of pollutants. Th.s fraction h.s been associated with.increasing rates of cardio-respiratory disease in Ch.na and elsewh.re. Ambient pollutant levels h.ve been described in many of Ch.na＇s cities and are comparable to previous levels in south.rn California. Lung cancer mortality in Ch.na h.s increased since th. 1970s and h.s been h.gh.r in men and in urban areas, th. exact explanation for wh.ch.h.s not been determined. Th. estimation of individual risk for Ch.nese citizens living in areas of air pollution will require furth.r research. Occupational coh.rt and casecontrol designs each.h.ve unique attributes th.t could make th.m h.lpful to use in th.s setting. Oth.r important future research.considerations include detailed exposure assessment and th. possible use of biomarkers as a means to better understand and manage th. th.eat posed by air pollution in Ch.na.

MAG-3(n=28),dMRU(n=53),or both.n=40).In th.s study,we included patients wh. underwent surgery for UPJO and scintigraph. MAG-3+dMRU but excluded th.se wh. underwent only scintigraph. MAG-3 or *** patients were divided into groups A(10%discrepancy).We examined th. discrepancy in split renal function between th. two modalities and investigated th. possible risk *** Th. split renal function between th. two kidneys was compared in 40 patients(28 boys and 12 girls)using scintigraph. GTPases of plants, are molecu- lar switch.s th.t pivotally control th. polarized pollen tube growth.process. h.wever, h.w RAC/ROP activities respond to conditions during germination and tube growth.to signal th. needed cellular events h.s not been examined. We sh.w h.re th.t tobacco pollen germination rapidly induces RAC/ ROP activation, potentially affecting myriad downstream cellular processes th.t support pollen tube growth.
