Prospective cohort study on facial profile changes in infants with Robin sequence and healthy controls

AIM:To investigate the role of exercise training the past 25 years on major physiological-psychological outcomes studied thus far in this patient ***:Pub Med, Medline Plus, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, SportD iscus, embase, Scorpus, and Google Scholar were searched from September to November 2013 to identify exercise training studies that used objective measurements of fitness and/or patient reported outcomes assessed pre and post-exercise training with statistical analyses performed in at least one of the following outcome measurements:Cardiorespiratory function, body composition, muscular strength, fatigue, depression, and overall quality of life. Five reviewers independently identified the studies that met the criteria for the review and discrepancies were resolved by consensus among all ***:Fifty-one studies were included in this review with 5 from the period between 1989-1999, 11 from 2000-2006, and 35 from 2007-2013. The evolution of study designs changed from aerobic only exercise training interventions(1989-1999), to a combination of aerobic and resistance training(2000-2006), to studies including an arm of resistance training or examining the effects of resistance training as the main mode of exercise(2007-2013). Overall, the benefits of exercise showed improvements in cardiorespiratory function, body composition, strength, and patient reported outcomes including fatigue, depression, and quality of ***:exercise training appears to be safe for most breast cancer patients and improvements in physiological, psychological, and functional parameters can be attained with regular participation in moderate intensity exercise.

A dynamic analysis of both twisting and regular towers is carried out to determine the results of considering soil-structure interaction(SSI)on high-rise *** addition,the difference between the seismic performance of using twisting towers over regular ones is *** twisting tower is a simulation of the evolution Tower(Moscow).The towers’skeletons consist of RC elements and rest on a reinforced concrete piled-raft *** soil model is considered as multi-layered with the same soil properties as the zone chosen for the analysis(New Mansoura City,egypt).The only difference between both towers is their shape in *** whole system is modelled and analyzed in a single step as one full 3D model,which is known as the direct approach in *** analyses are carried out using finite-element software(Midas GTS NX).Dynamic output responses due to three records of seismic loads are proposed and presented in some *** on the results,it is concluded that SSI has a considerable effect on the dynamic response of tall buildings mainly because of the foundation flexibility,as it leads to lengthening the vibration period,increasing the story drift and the base shear for both cases.

《史记·扁鹊传》所载有三种“扁鹊”:“秦越人”之扁鹊、“良医公名”之扁鹊、“借医喻政”之扁鹊。三则医案,所涉及者不皆为秦越人:“诊断赵简子”当出自后世之说,其中提及的“扁鹊”,乃良医之泛称;“救治虢太子”者,方为秦越人,其时在虢国未灭之前;“望诊齐桓侯”一则,病主当为“蔡桓侯”,其中提及的“扁鹊”存在是秦越人的可能。三则医案之记叙,非依据事件发生时间之先后,而是依据其背后之事“义”:抚脉知病、起死回生、论病及国,渐次深入。文中“六不治”之说来自司马迁对“借医喻政”之扁鹊故事的归纳总结,篇末行迹遍布各地、治病随俗为变的“扁鹊”即此一种“扁鹊”。司马迁将三种“扁鹊”合而为一,以“疑以传疑”“推见至隐”的笔法写作此传,乃欲寄寓其治国亦如诊疾、当有见微知著之智的微旨。

Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion syndrome has been the subject of intensive study and experimentation in recent decades since it is responsible for the outcome of several clinical entities,such as major hepatic resections and liver *** addition to the organ’s post reperfusion injury,this syndrome appears to play a central role in the dysfunction of distant tissues and ***,continuous research should be directed toward finding effective therapeutic options to improve the outcome and reduce the postoperative morbidity and mortality *** is a synthetic analog of prostaglandin I2,and its experimental administration has shown encouraging *** has already been approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the United States for pulmonary arterial hypertension and has been used in liver transplantation,where preliminary encouraging results showed its safety and feasibility by using continuous intravenous administration at a dose of 5 ng/kg/*** improves renal and hepatic function,diminishes hepatic oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation,reduces hepatictoll-like receptor 9 and inflammation,inhibits hepatic apoptosis and restores hepatic adenosine triphosphate(ATP)levels and ATP synthases,which is necessary for functional maintenance of *** exhibits vasodilatory properties and antiplatelet activity and regulates proinflam-matory cytokines;therefore,it can potentially minimize ischemia-reperfusion ***,it may have beneficial effects on cardiovascular parameters,and much current research interest is concentrated on this compound.
