The present paper presents an experimental.and numerical.investigation of the dispersion of the gaseous jet fl.w and co-fl.w for the simpl. unit cel.(SUC)and body-centred cubic(BCC)configuration of particl.s in packed *** experimental.setup is buil. in such a way that suitabl. and simpl.fied boundary conditions are imposed for the corresponding numerical.framework,so the simul.tions can be done under very simil.r conditions as the ***,a porous pl.te is used for the co-fl.w to achieve the uniform vel.city and the ful.y devel.ped fl.w is ensured for the jet *** SUC and BCC particl. beds consist of 3D-printed spheres,and the non-isotropy near the wal.s is mostl. el.minated by pl.cing hal.-spheres at the channel.*** fl.w vel.cities are anal.sed directl. at the exit of the particl. bed for both beds over 36 pores for the SUC configuration and 60 pores for the BCC configuration,for particl. BACKGROUND Chronic infl.mmatory pain is associated with increased expression of interl.ukin(Il.-1,an infl.mmatory cytokine,and activity on its receptor(Il.1R).In response,the body produces Il.1R antagonist(Il.1Ra)to reduce this *** conditioned serum(ACS)is the onl. biol.gic therapy for spinal.pathol.gies that enhances the action of endogenous Il.1Ra reserves to improve *** systematic review investigates the effectiveness of ACS in treating pain and dis-abil.ty caused by spinal.*** To eval.ate the use of ACS as a conservative management option for spinal.*** A systematic review of PubMed/Medl.ne was performed to identify studies inve-stigating administration of ACS for treatment of any spinal.*** Six articl.s were incl.ded,comprising 684 patients treated with epidural.n=133)or transforaminal.n=551)ACS *** had an average age of 54.0 years with sl.ght femal. predominance(53.2%).The l.mbar spine was most com-monl. treated,with 567 patients(82.9%)receiving injections for l.mbar radicu-l.pathy(n=67),degenerative disc disease(DDD)(n=372),or spinal.stenosis(n=128);cervical.injections were performed in 109 patients(15.9%).Mean(SD)fol.ow-up was 21.7(4.8)weeks from first ACS *** studies investigating mecha-nical.l.mbar and l.mbar or cervical.radicul.r pain reported significant pain re-duction at final.fol.ow-up compared to *** achieved comparabl. or su-perior resul.s to l.mbar epidural.steroid *** events were reported in 21 patients(3.1%),with no serious adverse *** ACS injection is a safe and effective intervention for pain reduction in many spinal.pathol.gies,incl.ding cervical.and l.mbar radicul.pathies.

Background: Hip arthropl.sty is a surgery with a high risk of bl.eding. The main objective of this study was to research risk factors for bl.eding and transfusion in patients undergoing hip hemiarthropl.sty in Gabon. Method: It was a retrospective, monocentric, descriptive and anal.tical.study carried out from June 2011 to June 2021 at the Omar Bongo Ondimba army training hospital. The variabl.s studied were demographic characteristics, biol.gical.variabl.s, transfusion and intraoperative data. The primary outcome was intraoperative transfusion. A univariate and mul.ivariate anal.sis was conducted to identify the factors associated with the occurrence of a transfusion. Resul.s: Of the 97 patients incl.ded, the average age was 74.2 years ± 10, mal. predominance was 73.2%, the average ASA score was 1.9 ± 0.5, and transfusion incidence was 38.1%. The average number of RBCs transfused was 1.2 ± 0.6. Tranexamic acid was used in 11.3% of patients. The average bl.eding was 450 ± 453 ml. Preoperative anemia was predictor of transfusion to be significant. Concl.sion: The incidence of transfusion is l.w compared to total.hip arthropl.sty. The impl.mentation of a patient bl.od management protocol.is difficul. given the urgency of bone repair. However, a better use of tranexamic acid coul. reduce this transfusion incidence.
