In this contribution,inspired by the excelle.t resource.management and material transport function of leaf veins,the electrical transport function of metallized leaf veins is mimicked from the.material transport function of the vein *** electroless copper plating on real leaf vein networks with copper thickness of only several hundred nanometre up to several micrometre,certain leaf veins can be converted to transparent conductive electrodes with an ultralow sheet resistance 100 times lower than that of state-of-the-art indium tin oxide thin films,combined with a broadband optical transmission of above 80%in the UV–VIS–IR ***,the resource efficiency of the vein-like electrode is characterized by the small amount of material needed to build up the networks and the low copper consumption during *** particular,the high current density transport capability of the electrode of>6000 A cm^−2 was *** superior properties of the vein-like structures inspire the design of high-performance transparent conductive electrodes without using critical materials and may significantly reduce the Ag consumption down toe current level for mass production of solar cells and will contribute greatly to the electrode for high power density concentrator solar cells,high power density Li-ion batteries,and supercapacitors.

AIm:To evaluate the outcome of over-the-scope-clip system(OTSC)for endoscopic treatment of various indications in daily clinical practice in ***:This prospective,consecutive case series was conducted at a tertiary care hospital from September 2010 to January *** for OTSC application were fistulae,anastomotic leakage,perforation,unroofed submucosal lesion for biopsy,refractory bleeding,and stent fixation in the gastrointestinal(GI)*** technical success was defined as the adequate deployment of the OTSC on the target *** success was defined as resolution of the problem;for instance,no requirement for surgery or further endoscopic *** cases of recurrence,retreatment of a lesion with a second intervention was *** were classified into those related to sedation,endoscopy,or deployment of the ***:A total of 28 OTSC system applications werecarried out in 21 patients[median age 64 years(range42-85),33%females].The.main indications were fistulae(52%),mostly after percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube removal,and anastomotic leakage after GI surgery(29%).Further indications were unroofed submucosal lesions after biopsy,upper gastrointestinal bleeding,or esophageal stent *** OTSC treatments were applied either in the upper(48%)or lower(52%)GI *** mean lesion size was 8 mm(range:2-20 mm).Primary technical success and clinical success rates were 85%and 67%,***53%of cases,the suction method was used without accessories(e.g.,twin grasper or tissue anchor).No endoscopy-related or OTSC-related complications were ***:OTSC is a useful tool for endoscopic closure of various GI lesions,including fistulae and *** randomized prospective.multicenter trials are warranted.

With the increasing pressure on companies to engage in corporate social responsibility （CSR）, it is paramount for businesses and organizations to gain social legitimacy through building trust and credibility towards their stakeholders. Corporate reporting is a major tool whereby they can demonstrate their transparency and their will to contribute to society. However, reporting is often addressed as a narrow and restricted discipline based on specific areas of communication like financial and CSR communication, which potentially can lead to ＂disconnected reporting＂. The aim of this paper is to address reporting within a framework of corporate communication, introducing the concept of corporate reporting as ＂an issue of integration＂ and to discuss the opportunities and challe.ges of corporate reporting as a driver for gaining social legitimacy. Recent research in corporate reporting and the development of standards by distinguished reporting agencies （e.g., Klynveld Peat marwick Goerdeler （KPmG）, A4S, PricewaterhouseCoopers （PwC）） se.m to support this position, arguing that integrated reporting is ＂the way forward＂. Accordingly, the authors conclude that there is a need to include a broader range of aspects in the corporate reporting literature applying a strategic integrated approach by which corporate reporting may more explicitly help businesses and organizations gain social legitimacy towards their internal and external stakeholders.

AIm:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of vitamin e in children with chronic hepatitis ***:We randomly assigned patients with chronic hepatitis B,positive for hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg),to receive either vitamin e or placebo once daily for 6 mo in a 3:1 ratio and double-blind *** primary end point was HBeAg seroconversion,defined as the loss of HBeAg,undetectable levels of serum hepatitis B virus DNA,and the appearance of antibodies against HBeAg 12 mo after ***:At baseline visit,49 patients had normal and 43 had increased serum aminotransferase ***-nine patients did not respond to previous treatment with interferon-α or ***-six children completed the study;16 were non-compliant(n = 7),lost to follow-up(n = 7),or started another antiviral treatment(n = 3).Intention-to-treat analysis showed HBeAg seroconversion in 16 children(23.2%) treated with vitamin e and two(8.7%) in the placebo group(P = 0.13).Vitamin e was well ***:There is only a tendency that vitamin e.may promote HBeAg *** larger studies are needed to clarify the role of antioxidants in the therapy of chronic hepatitis B.

Freshwater biota are.more comprehensive and direct indicators of biological impacts,and more.meaningful to the public than water quality or physical habitat *** biotic data and the.multiple biological indicators developed from them offer a much richer array of data for assessing the impacts of pollution controls than a limited set of physical or chemical *** recent decades,assemblage-based assessments by ecologists,environmental scientists,and water quality agencies have been employed globally for dete.mining the condition of,and threats to,freshwater ecosystems.A key step in this advance has been the development of multimetric indices(mmIs)or indices of biotic integrity(IBIs)based on quantitative assessments of algae.macrophyte.macroinvertebrate,fish or riparian bird *** europe,where biological assemblages are.mandated for assessing freshwater ecosystem health,many indices are ***,the proliferation of mmIs globally has not always occurred through the application of rigorous study designs and monitoring protocols,nor have they always effectively incorporated functional metrics,stressor assessments,and statistical ***,in this review,we discuss eleven major concerns with the development and application(including logistical limitations)of multimetric indicators based on freshwater biota to encourage.more rigorous and widely applicable(transferable.mmI use and ***,our concerns focus on reference conditions;sampling effort,methods,and season;trophic guild definition;metric comprehensiveness,options,screening and scoring;and mmI *** could also benefit from increased attention to ecological mechanisms and metric development,to further improve our understanding of anthropogenic impacts as well as rehabilitation effects on freshwater ecosystems *** closer attention to study designs,ecological mechanisms and metric development should further improve our understa
