＜正＞ Siderosis bulbi caused by retained iron are vision- threatened. An investigation into its underlying mechanisms is *** iron particle/ FeSO4 or an acrylate chip/ saline was intravitreously administered into one eye of the experimental/ control rat. Electroretinogram （ERG）, measurement of reactive oxygen species/ glutamate. and Western blot were performed. The retinas were evaluated *** experimental siderosis caused a drastic ERG b - wave amplitude reduction,and an obvious stimulation in the glutamate release,the hydroxyl radicals formation,and the superoxide dismutase activity in retinal pigment epithelial （majority） . This was supported by the Western blot result. There was also an obvious disorganization,and a wide - spreading ferric distribution in the whole retina. The retinal changes were ameliorated by certain ingredients of Chuan Xiong. The results imply that the experimental siderosis stimulates oxidative stress,and excitotoxicity. This could explain why the toxic iron would further impair the retina,as shown by the ERG results. This is consistent with the pathological results. Importantly,the iron - induced retinal toxicity was protected by defined components .

Since the telecommunications companies experience great competition,high churn rate,data traffic issues during the Covid-19 pandemic and the upgrade to 5G connectivity,the finance management of a telecommunications company should be analyzed to study the volatility and returns in the *** paper aims to develop a goal programming model to examine the asset and liability management of a telecommunication company,namely Telekom Malaysia Berhad(TM)in *** result of this study shows that TM has achieved all the goals in maximizing assets,equities,profits,earnings and optimum management item while minimizing liabilities over the period of study from 2015 to *** improvements on these goals have also been identified through this *** paper has also contributed to the studies in financial management since past studies have not been done on asset and liability management in telecommunications companies which is rapidly growing and expanding even while the world is suffering from economy crisis during this pandemic.

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are multipotent stem cells and capable of differentiating into multiple cell types including osteoblastic,chondrogenic and adipogenic *** previously identified BMP9 as one of the most potent BMPs that induce osteoblastic differentiation of MSCs although exact molecular mechanism through which BMP9 regulates osteogenic differentiation remains to be fully ***,we seek to develop a recombinant adenovirus system to optimally silence mouse BMP9 and then characterize the important role of BMP9 in osteogenic differentiation of *** two different siRNA bioinformatic prediction programs,we design five siRNAs targeting mouse BMP9(or simB9),which are expressed under the control of the converging H1 and U6 promoters in recombinant adenovirus *** demonstrate that two of the five siRNAs,simB9-4 and simB9-7,exhibit the highest efficiency on silencing exogenous mouse BMP9 in ***,simB9-4 and simB9-7 act synergistically in inhibiting BMP9-induced expression of osteogenic markers,matrix mineralization and ectopic bone formation from ***,our findings demonstrate the important role of BMP9 in osteogenic differentiation of *** characterized simB9 siRNAs may be used as an important tool to investigate the molecular mechanism behind BMP9 osteogenic *** results also indicate that recombinant adenovirus-mediated expression of siRNAs is efficient and sustained,and thus may be used as an effective delivery vehicle of siRNA therapeutics.

As a typical plasma-based optical element that can sustain ultra-high light intensity,plasma density gratings driven by intense laser pulses have been extensively studied for wide ***,we show that the plasma density grating driven by two intersecting driver laser pulses is not only nonuniform in space but also varies over ***,the probe laser pulse that passes through such a dynamic plasma density grating will be depolarized,that is,its polarization becomes spatially and temporally *** importantly,the laser depolarization may spontaneously take place for crossed laser beams if their polarization angles are arranged *** laser depolarization by a dynamic plasma density grating may find application in mitigating parametric instabilities in laser-driven inertial confinement fusion.

High-energy positrons and bright g-ray sources are of great importance both in fundamental research and for practical ***,collimated GeV electron–positron pair jets and g-ray flashes are still rarely produced in the ***,we demonstrate that by irradiating a near-critical-density plasma channel with two 10 PW-scale laser pulses,highly directional GeV electron–positron pairs and bright g-ray beams can be efficiently ***-dimensional particle-incell simulations show the formation of GeV positron jets with high density(8×10^(21)=cm^(3)),attosecond duration(400 as),and a divergence angle of 14°.Additionally,ultrabright[2×10^(25) photons s^(-1)1 mm^(-2) mrad^(-2) (0.1%bandwidth_(-1)]collimated attosecond(370 as)g-ray flashes with a laser energy conversion efficiency of 5.6%are *** features show the significant advantage of using a plasma channel as compared with a uniformplasma and thus open up new possibilities for a wide variety of applications.

OBJECTIVE Palythoa caribaeorum(class Anthozoa) is a zoanthid that together jellyfishes,hydra,and sea anemones,which are venomous and predatory,belongs to the Phyllum *** distinguished feature in these marine animals is the cnidocytes in the body tissues,responsible for toxin production and injection that are used majorly for prey capture and *** exception for other anthozoans,the toxin cocktails of zoanthids have been scarcely studied and are poorly *** Based on the analysis of *** transcriptome,numerous predicted venom-featured polypeptides were identified,including allergens,neuro-toxins,membrane-active and Kunitz-like peptides(PcKuz).The three predicted PcKuz isotoxins(1 to 3) were selected for functional *** computational processing comprising structural phylogenetic analysis,molecular docking,and dynamics simulation,PcKuz3 was shown to be a potential voltage gated potassium-channel *** PcKuz3 fitted well as new functional Kunitz-type toxins with strong anti-locomotor activity as in vivo assessed in zebrafish larvae,with weak inhibitory effect toward proteases,as evaluated in ***,PcKuz3 can suppress,at low concentration,the 6-OHDA-induced neurotoxicity on the locomotive behavior of zebrafish,which indicated PcKuz3 may have a neuroprotective *** Taken together,PcK uz3 figures as a novel neurotoxin structure which differs from known homologous peptides expressed in sea ***,the novel PcKuz3 provides an insightful hint for bio-drug development for prospective neurodegenerative disease treatment.
