Rational design of three-dimensional branched NiCo-P@CoNiMo-P core/shell nanowire heterostructures for high-performance hybrid supercapacitor

Owing to the dramatically enhanced charge-mass transport and abundant electrochemically active sites,transition metal compound electrodes are increasingly attractive for achieving high-performance supercapacitors(SCs).Here,we report the fabrication of nickel foam supported three-dimensional(3 D)branched nickel-cobalt phosphides@tri-metal cobalt-nickel-molybdenum phosphides core/shell nanowire heterostructures(denoted as NiCo-P@CoNiMo-P)as high-performance electrode materials for hybrid *** presence of multiple valences of the cations in such NiCo-P@CoNiMo-P enables rich redox reactions and promoted synergy *** from their collective effects,the resulting electrode demonstrates high specific capacity of 1366 C g^(-1) at 2 A g^(-1)(2.03 C cm^(-2) at2 mA cm^(-2))and 922 C g^(-1) at 10 A g^(-1),as well as good cycling stability(retaining~94%of the initial capacity after 6000 cycles at 15 A g^(-1)).A hybrid SC using the NiCo-P@CoNiMo-P as the positive electrode and N-doped rGOs as the negative electrode exhibits a high energy density of 81.4 Wh kg^(-1) at a power density of 1213 W kg^(-1) and a capacity retention of 132%even after 6000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1).Our findings can facilitate the material design for boosting the performance of transition metal compounds based materials for fast energy storage.

High-energy-density-batteries working at a wide-temperature range are urgently required in many performance-critical ***-sulfur batteries(LSB)are promising high-energy-density batteries that have the potential to maintain high performance at extreme ***,some problems like severe shuttling and safety issues at high temperatures or sluggish reaction kinetics and charge-transfer process at low temperatures decrease the performance and hinder their practical uses in extreme temperature ***,broadening the working temperature of LSB with stable electrochemical performance becomes a crucial *** this paper,the key stumbling blocks for high and low-temperature LSB are comprehensively *** solutions from the aspects of electrolyte and electrode materials are discussed to solve the aggravating shuttle effect and thermal safety issues under high temperature and the sluggish reaction kinetics under low ***,some specific promising solutions to extend the operating temperature range of LSB are also proposed and highlighted,which provide potential research directions on the practical LSB application in future.

Contour Farming Suitability of the Black Soil Region in Northeast China and Its Spatial Characteristics

Contour farming technology plays a key role in reducing soil erosion,enhancing water use efficiency,and fostering sustain-able agricultural development,Despite being a straightforward yet efficacious farming technique,it has not seen widespread implement-ation in *** the deteriorating quality of arable lands in the Black Soil Region of Northeast China(BSR-NEC),it is ne-cessary to investigate spatial patterns and identify suitable areas for contour farming in this *** achieve this objective,spatial autocorrelation and grouping analysis methods were employed to classify the land into four categories of suitability for contour farming:highly suitable,moderately suitable,generally suitable,and *** results reveal that:1)the contour farming suitable area in BSR-NEC covers 89861.32 km^(2),accounting for 21.59%of arable land as of *** Province owns the largest suitable area of 32853.68 km^(2),and Inner Mongolia has the highest proportion of 28.89%.2)In terms of the spatial distribution,regions with higher suitability for contour farming are concentrated in the Da Hinggan Mountains region,particularly Nenjiang City(Heilongjiang Province),which has the highest area of 2593.07 km^(2).Areas with a high proportion of suitable arable lands for contour farming are mainly found in the Da Hinggan Mountains and Changbai Mountains regions,with Ergun City(Inner Mongolia)having the highest pro-portion at 47.2%.Regions with higher suitability and proportion are concentrated in the Da Hinggan Mountains region,primarily cover-ing the Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang.3)Regarding spatial clustering,both the area and proportion of suitable contour farming areas exhibit noticeable clustering effects,though not entirely consistent.4)Group analysis results designate 148 counties in BSR-NEC as highly suitable areas,predominantly located in the Changbai Mountains region,Liaodong Peninsula,Hulun Buir Plateau,and the north and south regions of the Da Hingg

A sub-micron structured film with a poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT)-modified CdTe/ZnO shell-core sub-micron tube array has been prepared by a series of electrodeposition processes, and a semiconductor-sensitized solar cell based on this structure was also fabricated. Vertically oriented ZnO sub-micron tubes were obtained on an indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate, and then CdTe nanocrystals and a thin P3MT layer were electrodeposited sequentially onto the walls of the ZnO sub-micron tubes. A suitable thickness of CdTe and P3MT could improve the photovoltaic properties of the solar cell, which was attributed to the enhancement in the light absorption and the decrease in the recombination of photogenerated carriers. In addition, a p–n heterojunction formed between the interface of CdTe and P3MT played an important part in the efficient separation and fast transport of photogenerated carriers in the sub-micron structure. A power conversion efficiency of 1.20% was obtained with this type of solar cell.

Rapid and accurate access to large-scale,high-resolution crop-type distribution maps is important for agricultural management and sustainable agricultural *** to the limitations of remote sensing image quality and data processing capabilities,large-scale crop classification is still *** study aimed to map the distribution of crops in Heilongjiang Province using Google Earth Engine(GEE)and Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 *** obtained Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 images from all the covered study areas in the critical period for crop growth in 2018(May to September),combined monthly composite images of reflectance bands,vegetation indices and polarization bands as input features,and then performed crop classification using a Random Forest(RF)*** results show that the Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 monthly composite images combined with the RF classifier can accurately generate the crop distribution map of the study area,and the overall accuracy(OA)reached 89.75%.Through experiments,we also found that the classification performance using time-series images is significantly better than that using single-period *** with the use of traditional bands only(i.e.,the visible and near-infrared bands),the addition of shortwave infrared bands can improve the accuracy of crop classification most significantly,followed by the addition of red-edge *** common vegetation indices and Sentinel-1 data to the crop classification improved the overall classification accuracy and the OA by 0.2 and 0.6%,respectively,compared to using only the Sentinel-2 reflectance *** analysis of timeliness revealed that when the July image is available,the increase in the accuracy of crop classification is the *** the Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 images for May,June,and July are available,an OA greater than 80%can be *** results of this study are applicable to large-scale,high-resolution crop classification and provide key technologies f

Salinization and desertification are closely related to water-salt migration caused by a temperature *** on the Darcy Law of unsaturated soils,the law of energy conservation and the law of mass conservation,the thermal-water-salt coupling mathematical model of unsaturated frozen saline soil was *** model considered the latent heat of phase change,crystallization impedance,crystallization consumption and complete precipitation of solute crystallization in *** order to verify the rationality of the model,the unidirectional freezing test of unsaturated saline soil was carried out in an open system with no-pressure water supplement to obtain the spatial distribution of temperature,moisture and salt in the saline ***,numerical simulations are implemented with the assistance of COMSOL *** of the model is illustrated by comparisons between the simulation and experimental *** results demonstrated that the temperature within saline soil changes with time and can be divided into three stages,namely quick freezing stage,transitional stage and stable *** water and salt contents in the freezing zone are layered,with peak values at the freezing *** coupled model could reveal the heat-mass migration mechanism of unsaturated frozen saline soil and dynamically describe the freezing depth and the movement law of the freezing front,ice and salt crystal formation mechanism,and the change law of thermal conductivity and permeability coefficient.

Mapping the fallowed area of paddy fields on Sanjiang Plain of Northeast China to assist water security assessments

Rice growth requires a large amount of water,and planting rice will increase the contradiction between supply and demand of water *** field fllowing is important for the sustainable development of an agricultural region,but it remains a great challenge to accurately and quickly monitor the extent and area of fallowed paddy *** fields have unique physical features associated with paddy rice during the flooding and transplanting *** comparing the differences in phenology before and after paddy field fllowing,we proposed a phenology-based fallowed paddy field mapping *** used the Google Earth Engine(GEE)cloud computing platform and Landsat 8 images to extract the fllowed paddy field area on Sanjiang Plain of China in *** results indicated that the Landsat8,GEE,and phenology-based fllowed paddy field mapping algorithm can effectively support the mapping of fallowed paddy fields on Sanjiang Plain of *** on remote sensing monitoring,the total fallowed paddy field area of Sanjiang Plain is 91543 *** resultant fallowed paddy field map is of high accuracy,with a producer(user)accuracy of 83%(81%),based on validation using ground-truth *** Landsat-based map also exhibits high consistency with the agricultural statistical *** estimated that paddy field fallowing reduced irigation water by 384-521 million cubic meters on Sanjiang Plain in *** research results can support subsidization grants for fallowed paddy fields,the evaluation of fallowed paddy field effects and improvement in subsequent fallowed paddy field policy in the future.

The cold-rolled 5% medium Mn steel was butt-welded using a fiber *** microstructure,distribution of microhardness,and tensile properties of the base metal(BM)and welded joint were *** results showed that the fusion zone of the welded joint had the highest microhardness due to the formatio n of 100%marten site.A finely mixed microstructure of martensite,ferrite,and austenite was formed in the heat-affected zone,and there was no softened zone in this *** tensile test results indicated that the ultimate tensile sirength and yield strength were higher for the joint than for *** joint efficiency was approximately 100%.All samples of the welded joirn failed at the location of BM during tensile *** fracture surfaces of the BM and welded joint were mainly ductile *** BM and welded joint exhibited strain rate independence of the tensile strength and yield strength at strain rates of 0.01-1 s_1,while the yield strength of the BM and welded joint increased rapidly when the strain rate reached 5 s_1 due to changes in the dislocation moveme nt *** uniform elongation of the BM and welded joint decreased with in creasing strain rate.

Influence of Deposition Parameters on Surface Evolution of Sputtered Tantalum Thin Films

Tantalum thin films with different thicknesses varying from 50nm to 600nm were deposited on Si substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering as functions of deposition temperature(Ts) and bias voltage(Ub). Surface roughness and its dynamic evolution behavior were quantitatively investigated by using atomic force microscopy(AFM). With increasing Ts from 300K to 600K, surface roughness Rrms and dynamic exponent β decreases gradually. With the increase of Ub from 0V to -150V, Rrms and β first decrease and then increase. The dependence of Ts and Ub on the film surface evolution has been discussed in terms of surface diffusion, mound growth, and ion impinging effect.
