With rising demand for clean energy,global focus turns to finding ideal sites for large-scale underground hydrogen storage(UHS)in depleted petroleum reservoirs.A thorough preliminary reservoir evaluation before hydrogen(H_(2))injection is crucial for UHS success and *** criteria for UHS often emphasize economics and chemistry,neglecting key reservoir *** study introduces a comprehensive framework for the reservoir-scale preliminary assessment,specifically tailored for long-term H_(2) storage within depleted gas *** evaluation criteria encompass critical components,including reservoir geometry,petrophysical properties,tectonics,and formation *** illustrate the practical application of this approach,we assess the Barnett shale play reservoir *** assessment unfolds through three key stages:(1)A systematic evaluation of the reservoir's properties against our comprehensive screening criteria determines its suitability for H_(2) storage.(2)Using both homogeneous and multilayered gas reservoir models,we explore the feasibility and efficiency of H_(2) *** phase involves an in-depth examination of reservoir behavior during the injection stage.(3)To enhance understanding of UHS performance,sensitivity analyses investigate the impact of varying reservoir dimensions and injection/production *** findings reveal the following:(a)Despite potential challenges associated with reservoir compaction and aquifer support,the reservoir exhibits substantial promise as an H_(2) storage site.(b)Notably,a pronounced increase in reservoir pressure manifests during the injection stage,particularly in homogeneous reservoirs.(c)Furthermore,optimizing injection-extraction cycle efficiency can be achieved by augmenting reservoir dimensions while maintaining a consistent *** ensure a smooth transition to implementation,further comprehensive investigations are advised,including experimental and numerical studies to address

Many methods have been proposed in the literature for solving the split variational inequality *** of these methods either require that this problem is transformed into an equivalent variational inequality problem in a product space,or that the underlying operators are ***,it has been discovered that such product space transformation may cause some potential difficulties during implementation and its approach may not fully exploit the attractive splitting nature of the split variational inequality *** the other hand,the co-coercive assumption of the underlying operators would preclude the potential applications of these *** avoid these setbacks,we propose two new relaxed inertial methods for solving the split variational inequality problem without any product space transformation,and for which the underlying operators are freed from the restrictive co-coercive *** methods proposed,involve projections onto half-spaces only,and originate from an explicit discretization of a dynamical system,which combines both the inertial and relaxation techniques in order to achieve high convergence ***,the sequence generated by these methods is shown to converge strongly to a minimum-norm solution of the problem in real Hilbert ***,numerical implementations and comparisons are given to support our theoretical findings.

Petrographic studies on Granitoids from Katchuan irruan and adjoining areas,southeastern Nigeria,has shown that they are garnetiferous biotite granite,aplitic granite,porphyritic hornblende biotite granite,porphyritic muscovite biotite granite,weakly foliated leucogranodiorite and simple *** are closely associated with the Precambrian Basement Complex rocks which they *** analysis shows that the rocks consist of quartz(10%-25%),oligoclase(10%-30%),K-feldspar(15%-35%),biotite(3%-25%),with occasional garnet,hornblende,muscovite,and accessory chlorite,haematite and *** data indicates that the rocks are generally shoshonitic,alkali-calcic to calcic,ferroan and *** are enriched in large ion lithophile elements as well as high field strength elements(Hf,Ta,Yb,Sm,Zr and Y).Their trace elements and REE patterns are similar,indicating that they are *** are characterized by high fractionation factor(La/Yb)N(3.04-228.44)and pronounced negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*)(0.23-0.71).Their overall geochemical features indicate that they were most likely derived from partial melting of crustal materials in an orogenic(post-collisional)tectonic *** are therefore related to the Pan-African granites,otherwise known as the Older Granites which were emplaced during the Pan African orogenic event.

in the pursuit of global net zero carbon emissions and climate change mitigation,ongoing research into sustainable energy sources and emission control is *** review examines methane leakage from abandoned oil and gas(AOG)wells,focusing particularly on Lubbock,a geographic area situated within the larger region known as the Permian Basin in West Texas,United *** objective is to assess the extent and environmental implications of methane leakage from these *** analysis integrates pertinent literature,governmental and industry data,and prior Lubbock *** affecting methane leakage,including well integrity,geological characteristics,and human activities,are *** research estimates 1781 drilled wells in Lubbock,forming a foundation for targeted assessments and monitoring due to historical drilling *** hierarchy of well statuses in Lubbock highlights the prevalence of“active oil wells,”trailed by“plugged and abandoned oil wells”and“inactive oil wells.”Methane leakage potential aligns with these well types,underscoring the importance of strategic monitoring and *** analysis notes a zenith in“drilled and completed”wells during *** our study's case analysis and literature review reiterate the critical significance of assessing and mitigating methane emissions from AOG wells,it's important to clarify that the research does not directly provide methane leakage ***,it contextualizes the issue's magnitude and emphasizes the well type and status analysis's role in targeted mitigation *** summary,our research deepens our understanding of methane leakage,aiding informed decision-making and policy formulation for environmental *** clarifying well type implications and historical drilling patterns,we aim to contribute to effective strategies in mitigating methane emissions from AOG wells.

在油田作业的不同阶段,由于精细运移或不相容的工作液,储层容易受到地层损害,这不可避免地会降低油井的性能。通过使用可用信息来获得损害的类型、范围和程度,开发了几种量化地层损害的技术。最近的一项研究提出,在实验室评估单层和多层混合致密储层中工作液造成的储层损害时,流量技术可以补充现有的渗透率指标。然而,研究中进行的分析使用了模拟工作液,这可能会得出不切实际的结论。据报道,绒囊工作液(FBWFs)已在多个单层和多层混合致密储层中得到应用。现场报告表明,FBWFs在致密储层中的应用满足了所有操作和储层损害控制要求。然而,到目前为止,还没有关于单层和多层致密储层中绒囊工作液损伤程度的综合实验报告。此外,FBWF的地层损害控制机制尚待研究。因此,迫切需要研究FBWF的损害程度和损害控制机制,从而建立最佳现场应用技术,指导FBWF在单层和多层致密储层中的未来应用。本硕士论文针对上述研究空白进行了详细的实验研究,取得的核心进展如下:1.通过显微镜观察和流变测试,研究了FBWF在静态和动态条件下的微观结构和流动能力,以及在室温、高温和高压下,不同密度FBWF的剪切速率和剪切应力之间的关系。这为进一步分析FBWFs的实验设计及其极端操作条件下的流变稳定性奠定了基础。2.通过单层和多层岩心驱实验,利用临兴区块不同岩性的岩心样品,通过渗透率和流速法,估算单层和双层储层中绒囊流体致伤害的程度。此外,通过FBWFs测定地层损害后的渗透率恢复率。结果表明:(a)对于单层系统,FBWF对煤层和砂岩造成弱损害,渗透率和流速指数的结果接近,误差小于1%。渗透率恢复率在66%以上。(b)对于双层混合体系,渗透率法无法评估整体损伤程度。然而,流量指数显示出弱损害,因此,双层储层的总体损害低于单层储层。这些结果验证了绒囊流体损伤程度,以及在单层和双层油藏中应用流量指数的可行性。3.通过SEM/EDS显微分析,建立了鄂尔多斯盆地东部临兴区块致密煤、碳酸盐岩和砂岩岩芯样品的模糊球致损伤机制。结果表明,岩芯结构没有明显变化,也没有细粒运移的迹象。此外,铅和硫在煤层中溶解,碲在砂岩中溶解,铝和镁在碳酸盐中溶解。然而,铝、镁和钠的沉淀发生在砂岩中,在煤和碳酸盐中没有发现沉淀物。研究结果为理解FBWFs的损伤控制机制提供了可靠的依据。***的暂时堵塞和分散特性能够生成储层保护层,最大限度地减少因固体和流体侵入造成的地层损害。然而,封堵效率被确定为一项关键要求。FBWFs的损伤控制受到pH值的限制,该pH值可能导致碱敏感性损伤。5.通过优化流体添加剂、储层性质和工程参数,可以提高低伤害FBWFs的现场应用。在这方面,提出了一个低损伤FBWFs优化和战略应用的工作流程。本文的研究工作为理解单层和多层混合致密储层中的绒囊流体致伤害程度提供了科学依据,并为致密储层中未来的绒囊流体致伤害设计和应用策略提供了指导。

Understanding the neural underpinning of human gait and balance is one of the most pertinent challenges for 21st-century translational neuroscience due to the profound impact that falls and mobility disturbances have on our aging *** and gait control does not happen automatically,as previously believed,but rather requires continuous involvement of central nervous *** effectively exert control over the body,the brain must integrate multiple streams of sensory information,including visual,vestibular,and somatosensory *** mechanisms which underpin the integration of these multisensory signals are the principal topic of the present *** multisensory integration theories focus on how failure of cognitive processes thought to be involved in multisensory integration leads to falls in older *** emphasis,however,has been placed on specific contributions of individual sensory modalities to multisensory integration processes and cross-modal interactions that occur between the sensory modalities in relation to gait and *** the present work,we review the contributions of somatosensory,visual,and vestibular modalities,along with their multisensory intersections to gait and balance in older adults and patients with Parkinson’s *** also review evidence of vestibular contributions to multisensory temporal binding windows,previously shown to be highly pertinent to fall risk in older ***,we relate multisensory vestibular mechanisms to potential neural substrates,both at the level of neurobiology(concerning positron emission tomography imaging)and at the level of electrophysiology(concerning electroencephalography).We hope that this integrative review,drawing influence across multiple subdisciplines of neuroscience,paves the way for novel research directions and therapeutic neuromodulatory approaches,to improve the lives of older adults and patients with neurodegenerative diseases.

in this study,response surface methodology(RSM)and artificial neural network(ANN)were used to optimize Terminalia catappa *** oil(TCKO)*** extraction method was used for the oil extraction,with n-hexane as the extracting *** highest oil yield was obtained at 55℃,150 min,and 0.5 *** physicochemical properties of the TCKO were determined using standard *** chromatographic(GC)analysis and Fourier Transform infrared(FTiR)were respectively,used to determine the fatty acid composition and prevalent functional groups in *** optimum conditions of temperature,particle size and extraction time,the RSM predicted oil yield was 62.92%,which was validated as 60.34%,whereas ANN predicted yield was 60.39%,which was validated as 60.40%.The results of the physicochemical characterization of TCKO showed that the dielectric strength(DS),viscosity,flash and pour points values were 30.61 KV,20.29 mm^2 s^−1,260°C,and 3℃,*** characterization and FTiR results of TCKOindicated its potential industrial application,especially as transformer *** acids compositions result indicated that the oil was highly unsaturated;while XRD results of Terminalia catappa ***(TCK)samples obtained,both before and after extraction,showed difference in their peaks and corresponding intensities,due to the damage effect of ***,the obtained optimization results indicated that ANN was a better and more effective tool than RSM,due to its higher R^2 and lower RMS values.
