For a long time inner-contradictions have been existed between language teaching and professional course teaching in the course bilingual teaching reform in Chinese higher engineering education,which induced loss courses teaching objectives,that was subject *** particular these contradictions center reduced student learning for native speakers in one language,when being instructed in a second *** paper terms this type of reduced learning as ‘bilingual teaching subject damnification’.Aiming at solving the contradictions scientific and reasonably,this article analyzes the causes of the contradictions and puts forward multiple intelligence education theory to solve the course bilingual teaching subject *** this article,the authors analyze the causes of subject damnification from both macro and micro angle,from multi-layer and from a panoramic viewpoint;analyzing traits of multiple intelligence education and the advantages of the combination between multiple intelligence and course bilingual *** multiple intelligence theory to guide the professional course bilingual teaching in Chinese higher engineering education is an effective measure to boost quality-oriented education,to cultivate the creative spirits and practical creativity in *** intelligence theory also provides development policies to bilingual teaching and sustainable education reform in Chinese higher engineering education.
