Nonperturbative studies such as confinement and dynamical chiral symmetry breaking need the nonperturbative interacting vertex functions. In this paper, an approach to determining the full fermion-boson vertex function in four-dimensional Abelian gauge theory is presented: this full vertex function is derived in terms of a set of normal (longitudinal) and transverse Ward-Takahashi relations for the fer-mion-boson (vector) and axial-vector vertices in the momentum space in the case of massless fermion. Such a derived fermion-boson vertex function should be sat-isfied both perturbatively and nonperturbatively. The fact that such a derived full fermion-boson vertex function to one-loop order holds indeed is proven and the nonperturbative form of this vertex is also under discussion.

The stress corrosion cracking(SCC) susceptibility of an Al-Li-Cu-Mg-Zr alloy(2091), heat-treated under different regime,has been investigated hy means of tensile tests at slow strain *** microstructure has been examined with *** deformation characteristic has also been *** stress corrosion resistance of the alloy was revealed to be mainly affected by the covering rate of T_2-phase over grain boundaries and by the average distance between T_2-phase particles. SCC resistance can be obviously improved by predeforming the alloy at room temper- ature to reduce the precipitation of T_2-phase along grain boundaries.

Targeting multiple immune mechanisms may overcome therapy resistance and further improve cancer immunotherapy for ***,we describe the application of virus-like vesicles(VLV)for delivery of three immunomodulators alone and in combination,as a promising approach for cancer *** vectors were designed to deliver single chain interleukin(IL)-12,shorthairpin RNA(shRNA)targeting programmed death ligand 1(PD-L1),and a dominant-negative form of IL-17 receptor A(dn-IL17RA)as a single payload or as a combination *** delivery of the VLV vector expressing IL-12 alone,as well as the trivalent vector(designated CARG-2020)eradicated large established ***,only CARG-2020 prevented tumor recurrence and provided long-term survival benefit to the tumor-bearing mice,indicating a benefit of the combined *** abscopal effects of CARG-2020 on the non-injected contralateral tumors,as well as protection from the tumor cell re-challenge,suggest immune-mediated mechanism of protection and establishment of immunological ***,CARG-2020 potently activates Th1 immune mechanisms and inhibits expression of genes related to T cell exhaustion and cancer-promoting *** ability of CARG-2020 to prevent tumor recurrence and to provide survival benefit makes it a promising candidate for its development for human cancer immunotherapy.

The crossed micro-bands in the martensite variant pairs of a thermomechanically trained Cu25.66Zn-4.02Al (wt-%) alloy have been studied. It was found that the micro-bands pass through the interface from one martensite variant to another and their orientation inside different variants is distinct, which would remain in the parent phase after the reverse transformation and play an important role in the formation of preferential martensite. In fact, the crossed micro-bands are micro-twins for accommodating the stress fields generated during thermomechanically training

Property testing was initially studied from various motivations in 1990’s. A code C  GF (r)n is locally testable if there is a randomized algorithm which can distinguish with high possibility the codewords from a vector essentially far from the code by only accessing a very small (typically constant) number of the vector’s coordinates. The problem of testing codes was firstly studied by Blum, Luby and Rubinfeld and closely related to probabilistically checkable proofs (PCPs). How to characterize locally testable codes is a complex and challenge problem. The local tests have been studied for Reed-Solomon (RS), Reed-Muller (RM), cyclic, dual of BCH and the trace subcode of algebraicgeometric codes. In this paper we give testers for algebraic geometric codes with linear parameters (as functions of dimensions). We also give a moderate condition under which the family of algebraic geometric codes cannot be locally testable.

A large number of buildings were seriously damaged or collapsed in the "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake. Based on field surveys and studies of damage to different types of buildings, seismic design codes have been updated. This paper briefly summarizes some of the major revisions that have been incorporated into the "Standard for classification of seismic protection of building constructions GB50223-2008" and "Code for Seismic Design of Buildings GB50011-2001." The definition of seismic fortification class for buildings has been revisited, and as a result, the seismic classifications for schools, hospitals and other buildings that hold large populations such as evacuation shelters and information centers have been upgraded in the GB50223-2008 Code. The main aspects of the revised GB50011-2001 code include: (a) modification of the seismic intensity specified for the Provinces of Sichuan, Shanxi and Gansu; (b) basic conceptual design for retaining walls and building foundations in mountainous areas; (c) regularity of building configuration; (d) integration of masonry structures and precast RC floors; (e) requirements for calculating and detailing stair shafts; and (f) limiting the use of single-bay RC frame structures. Some significant examples of damage in the epicenter areas are provided as a reference in the discussion on the consequences of collapse, the importance of duplicate structural systems, and the integration of RC and masonry structures.
