This study proposed a measurement platform for continuous blood pressure estimation based on dual photoplethysmography(PPG)sensors and a deep learning(DL)that can be used for continuous and rapid measurement of blood pressure and analysis of cardiovascular-related *** proposed platform measured the signal changes in PPG and converted them into physiological indicators,such as pulse transit time(PTT),pulse wave velocity(PWV),perfusion index(PI)and heart rate(HR);these indicators were then fed into the DL to calculate blood *** hardware of the experiment comprised 2 PPG components(i.e.,Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and analog-todigital converter[MCP3008]),which were connected using a serial peripheral *** DL algorithm converted the stable dual PPG signals acquired from the strictly standardized experimental process into various physiological indicators as input parameters and finally obtained the systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and mean arterial pressure(MAP).To increase the robustness of the DL model,this study input data of 100 Asian participants into the training database,including those with and without cardiovascular disease,each with a proportion of approximately 50%.The experimental results revealed that the mean absolute error and standard deviation of SBP was 0.17±0.46 *** mean absolute error and standard deviation of DBP was 0.27±0.52 *** mean absolute error and standard deviation of MAP was 0.16±0.40 mmHg.

Password authentication schemes based on a geometric approach are proposed. Based on geometrics such as a plane or space, the proposed schemes can be used to fulfill the various requirements for security and achieve more efficient results. They allow a user to register with many servers once without remembering different passwords for each, and also allow a user to change the password freely and update it offline. In addition, the proposed schemes do not need to maintain a verification table and are also computationally efficient. Moreover, we propose a specific access right (AR) to verify the legitimate user who has different authorization levels on a server in a multi-server environment.

A system for classifying four basic table tennis strokes using wearable devices and deep learning networks is proposed in this *** wearable device consisted of a six-axis sensor,Raspberry Pi 3,and a power *** kernel sizes were used in convolutional neural network(CNN)to evaluate their performance for extracting ***,a multiscale CNN with two kernel sizes was used to perform feature fusion at different scales in a concatenated *** CNN achieved recognition of the four table tennis *** data were obtained from20 research participants who wore sensors on the back of their hands while performing the four table tennis strokes in a laboratory *** data were collected to verify the performance of the proposed models for wearable ***,the sensor and multi-scale CNN designed in this study achieved accuracy and F1 scores of 99.58%and 99.16%,respectively,for the four *** accuracy for five-fold cross validation was 99.87%.This result also shows that the multi-scale convolutional neural network has better robustness after fivefold cross validation.

Although the performance of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has been dramatically increased in recent years,stability is still the main obstacle preventing the PSCs from being *** device instability can be caused by a variety of reasons,including ions diffusion,surface and grain boundary defects,*** this work,the cross-linkable tannic acid(ta)is introduced to modify perovskite film through post-treatment *** numerous organic functional groups(–OH and C=O)in ta can interact with the uncoordinated Pb^(2+)and I^(-)ions in perovskite,thus passivating defects and inhibiting ions *** addition,the formed ta network can absorb a small amount of the residual moisture inside the device to protect the perovskite ***,ta modification regulates the energy level of perovskite,and reduces interfacial charge ***,following ta treatment,the device efficiency is increased significantly from 21.31%to 23.11%,with a decreased hysteresis ***,the treated device shows excellent air,thermal,and operational *** light of this,the readily available,inexpensive ta has the potential to operate as a multipurpose interfacial modifier to increase device efficiency while also enhancing device stability.

This work presents a spoken dialog summariza- tion system with HAPPINESS/SUFFERING factor recognition. The semantic content is compressed and classified by factor categories from spoken dialog. The transcription of au- tomatic speech recognition is then processed through Chinese Knowledge and Information Processing segmentation system. The proposed system also adopts the part-of-speech tags to effectively select and rank the keywords. Finally, the HAPPINESS/SUFFERING factor recognition is done by the proposed point-wise mutual information. Compared with the original method, the performance is improved by applying the significant scores of keywords. The experimental results show that the average precision rate for factor recognition in outside test can reach 73.5% which demonstrates the possi- bility and potential of the proposed system.

A Petrographic and Mineralogical Study of Volcanic Rocks from the Mayaxueshan Area, North Qilian Fold Belt, NW China

The Ordovician volcanic rocks in the Mayaxueshan area have been pervasivelyaltered or metamorphosed and contain abundant secondary minerals such as albite, chlorite, epidote,prehnite, pumpellyite, actinolite, titanite, quartz, and/or calcite. They were denoted as spilitesor spilitic rocks in terms of their petrographic features and mineral assemblages. The metamorphicgrades of the volcanic rocks are equivalent to that of the intercalated metaclastic rocks. Thisindicates that both the spilitic volcanic rocks and metaclastic rocks in the Mayaxueshan area haveformed as a result of Caledonian regional metamorphism. We suggest that the previously denotedspilitic rocks or altered volcanic rocks should be re-denoted as metabasalts or metabasaltic *** metamorphic grade of the volcanic rocks increases with their age: prehnite-pumpellyite faciesfor the upper part of the Middle Ordovician volcanic rocks, prehnite-pumpellyite to lowergreenschist facies for the lower part of the Middle Ordovician volcanic rocks, and lower greenschistfacies for the Lower Ordovician volcanic rocks. The P-T conditions are estimated as T = 240 - 290deg C and P = 1.5-4.5 kbar for the lower part of the Middle Ordovician rocks, and T = approx 300 degC for the Lower Ordovician rocks. The variations of mineral assemblages occurring at differentdomains of the volcanic rocks were controlled by the variations of the effective bulk composition inthose domains during metamorphism. The geochemical characteristics of Mg-Al chromite in theMayaxueshan volcanic rocks are consistent with an origin of island arc environment.

Although the prevalence of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection has declined in renal transplant recipients (RTRs), it remains a relevant clinical problem with high morbidity and mortality in long-term follow up. A thorough evaluation, including liver biopsy as well as assessment of HBV replication in serum (i.e. hepatitis B e antigen and/or HBV DNA) is required before transplantation. Interferon should not be used in this setting because of low efficacy and precipitation on acute allograft rejection. The advent of effective antiviral therapies offers the opportunity to prevent the progression of liver disease after renal transplantation. However, as far as we are aware, no studies have compared prophylactic and preemptive strategies. To date, the majority of RTRs with HBV-related liver disease have had a high virological and biochemical response to lamivudine use. However, lamivudine resistance is frequent with a prolonged course of therapy. Considering long-term treatment, antiviral agents with a high genetic barrier to resistance and lack of nephrotoxicity are suggested. The optimal strategy in RTRs with HBV infection remains to be established in the near future.

In this paper, we apply the K-theory to classify topological trivial fermionic phases which, nonetheless,host symmetry-protected non-trivial defects. An important implication of our work is that the existence of Majorana zero mode in the vortex core is neither a necessary nor a sufficient condition for the superconductor in question being topologically non-trivial.

BACKGROUND Rectal melanoma is an uncommon neoplasm that accounts for approximately 1 percent of rectal cancer *** resection was regarded as the radical procedure for disease ***,it led to more postoperative complications than sphincter-sparing wide local excision(WLE)and reduced the patient’s quality of life(QOL)owing to creation of ***,in this study,WLE,radiotherapy(RT),and a second WLE were conducted on a patient who had been diagnosed with localized rectal *** SUMMARY The patient was a 79-year-old woman who had been experiencing anal pain and bloody stool for 1 ***,magnetic resonance imaging,positron emission tomography–computed tomography,and histological analysis of tissue biopsy using the histological markers Melan-A(+),S-100(+),and Ki-67(+,50%)lead to the diagnosis of localized rectal *** patient had initially undergone WLE to resolve problem of anal bleeding,followed by RT to treat the residual lesion with partial ***,the residual lesion was removed with margin-free resection by the second *** patient’s postoperative course was smooth and *** the 2-year follow-up,no local recurrence was ***,a good functional outcome and improved QOL were *** Combining WLE,RT,and repeat WLE is proposed as a viable alternative for treating rectal melanoma accompanied by bleeding symptoms that cannot be completely resected at the beginning.
