Recent research has demonstrated the impact of physical activity on the prognosis of glioma patients,with evidence suggesting exercise may reduce mortality risks and aid neural *** role of the small ubiquitin-like modifier(SUMO)protein,especially post-exercise,in cancer progression,is gaining attention,as are the potential anti-cancer effects of *** used machine learning to create the exercise and SUMO-related gene signature(ESLRS).This signature shows how physical activity might help improve the outlook for low-grade glioma and other *** demonstrated the prognostic and immunotherapeutic significance of ESLRS markers,specifically highlighting how murine double minute 2(MDM2),a component of the ESLRS,can be targeted by *** underscores the intricate relationship between natural compounds such as nutlin-3 and immune *** comprehensive CRISPR screening,we validated the effects of specific ESLRS genes on low-grade glioma *** also revealed insights into the effectiveness of Nutlin-3a as a potent MDM2 inhibitor through molecular docking and dynamic ***-3a inhibited glioma cell proliferation and activated the p53 *** efficacy decreased with MDM2 overexpression,and this was reversed by Nutlin-3a or *** using a low-grade glioma mouse model highlighted the effect of physical activity on oxidative stress and molecular pathway ***,both physical exercise and Nutlin-3a administration improved physical function in mice bearing tumors derived from MDM2-overexpressing *** results suggest the potential for Nutlin-3a,an MDM2 inhibitor,with physical exercise as a therapeutic approach for glioma *** research also supports the use of natural products for therapy and sheds light on the interaction of exercise,natural products,and immune regulation in cancer treatment.

Effect of boundary conditions on downstream vorticity from counter-rotating swirlers

Particle image velocimetry（PIV） is utilized to measure the non-reacting flow field in a reflow combustor with multiple and single swirlers. The velocity field, vortex structure and total vorticity levels are experimentally obtained using two different boundary conditions, representing a single confined swirler and multiple swirlers in an annular combustor. The influence of the boundary conditions on the flow field at several locations downstream of the swirlers is experimentally investigated, showing that the central vortex in the multi-swirler case is more concentrated than in the single-swirler case. The vorticity of the central vortex and average cross-sectional vorticity are relatively low at the swirler outlet in both cases. Both of these statistics gradually increase to the maximum values near 20 mm downstream of the swirler outlet, and subsequently decrease. It is also found that the central vortex in the multi-swirler case is consistently greater than the single-swirler case. These results demonstrate the critical influence of boundary conditions on flow characteristic of swirling flow, providing insight into the difference of the experiments on testbed combustor and the full-scale annular combustors.

Uplink NOMA signal transmission with convolutional neural networks approach

Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA), featuring high spectrum efficiency, massive connectivity and low latency, holds immense potential to be a novel multi-access technique in fifth-generation(5G) communication. Successive interference cancellation(SIC) is proved to be an effective method to detect the NOMA signal by ordering the power of received signals and then decoding them. However, the error accumulation effect referred to as error propagation is an inevitable problem. In this paper,we propose a convolutional neural networks(CNNs) approach to restore the desired signal impaired by the multiple input multiple output(MIMO) channel. Especially in the uplink NOMA scenario,the proposed method can decode multiple users' information in a cluster instantaneously without any traditional communication signal processing steps. Simulation experiments are conducted in the Rayleigh channel and the results demonstrate that the error performance of the proposed learning system outperforms that of the classic SIC detection. Consequently, deep learning has disruptive potential to replace the conventional signal detection method.

Cholesterol metabolism: physiological versus pathological aspects in intracerebral hemorrhage

The genetic regulatory mechanisms that govern natural corolla senescence in petunia are not well *** identify key genes and pathways that regulate the process,we performed a transcriptome analysis in petunia corolla at four developmental stages,including corolla fully opening without anther dehiscence(D0),corolla expansion,2 days after anthesis(D2),corolla with initial signs of senescence(D4),and wilting corolla(D7).We identified large numbers of differentially expressed genes(DEGs),ranging from 4626 between the transition from D0 and D2,1116 between D2 and D4,a transition to the onset of flower senescence,and 327 between D4 and D7,a developmental stage representing flower *** analysis showed that the auxin-and ethylene-related hormone biosynthesis and signaling transduction pathways were significantly activated during the flower development and highly upregulated at onset of flower *** emission was detected at the D2 to D4 transition,followed by a large eruption at the D4 to D7 ***,large numbers of transcription factors(TFs)were activated over the course of *** analysis by virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)experiments demonstrated that inhibition of the expression of TFs,such as ethylene-related ERF,auxin-related ARF,bHLH,HB,and MADS-box,significantly extended or shortened flower *** data suggest that hormonal interaction between auxin and ethylene may play critical regulatory roles in the onset of natural corolla senescence in petunia.

Spatial distribution of dissolved Pb,Hg,Cd,Cu and As in the Bohai Sea

Characteristics of the spatial distribution of selected dissolved heavy metals were analyzed during large scale surveys from August t2 to 25, 2003 in the Bohai Sea. Dissolved Pb was the only element with average concentrations higher than the grade-one sea water quality standard of China. The spatial distribution of dissolved Pb in surface water was similar to those of Cd, Cu and As, where the isopleths generally indicated decreasing values from the bays to the central areas. Only for Hg did the high concentrations not only appear in Liaodong Bay, Bohai Bay and Laizhou Bay, but also in the Central Area, viz. not only in inshore but also in offshore areas. Vertical distributions of dissolved Pb, Cd, Cu and As were largely uniform, while that of dissolved Hg increased with depth. We infer that the input of pollutants from land was the main influencing factor for the detected distribution patterns of dissolved heavy metals, followed by the dynamics of sea water, release from bottom sediments and biochemical processes. Comparing with historical data, average concentrations of dissolved heavy metals appear to decline in recent years.

This paper presents an algorithm to evaluate estimated and exact system reliabilities for a computer network in the cloud computing *** the quality of service（QOS） viewpoint,the computer network should be maintained when falling to a specific state such that it cannot afford enough capacity to satisfy ***,the transmission time should be concerned as ***,the data can be sent through several disjoint minimal paths simultaneously to shorten the transmission *** the maintenance budget B and time constraint T,we evaluate the system reliability that d units of data can be sent from the cloud to the client through multiple *** procedures are integrated in the proposed algorithm-an estimation procedure for estimated system reliability and an adjusting procedure utilizing the branch-and-bound approach for exact system ***,the estimated system reliability with lower bound and upper bound,and exact system reliability are computed by applying the recursive sum of disjoint products（RSDP） algorithm.

Does Chinese OFDI really promote export?

Does Chinese outward foreign direct investment really promote export?Most papers have come to positive *** reviewing these papers,this paper contributes by correcting model misspecification,wrong variable selection and estimation methods which are prevalent in existing studies,and reexamines the relationship using panel data from 2003 to *** results indicate that:on average,the point estimate of the elasticity between Chinese outward foreign direct investment and export trade is at most 0.073,and it’s not statistically ***-sample regressions show that,Chinese investment in developed economies slightly substitutes export while investment in developing economies complements *** these effects disappear when country specific effects are ***-by-year regressions show that,the complementary effect of OFDI on export is on a steady *** if we take the regression coefficients and the quantitative difference between OFDI and export into consideration,the effect is indeed negligible.

PREDECESSOR-SET TECHNIQUE FOR RELIABILITY EVALUATION OF A STOCHASTIC MANUFACTURING SYSTEM

This paper studies the reliability evaluation of a stochastic manufacturing system with multiple production lines in parallel. Multiple repairs and different failure rates, never simultaneously addressed in earlier works, are taken into account. First, a revised graphical methodology integrating transformation and decomposition is utilized to construct the stochastic manufacturing system as a multi-state manufacturing network （MSMN）. In particular, a ＂predecessor-set＂ technique is proposed to deal with multiple repairs. An algorithm is proposed to generate the lowest capacity vectors （LCVs） that stations should provide to satisfy the workloads. Subsequently, the system reliability of the MSMN, which is defined as the probability of demand satisfaction, is calculated in terms of the LCVs. A real case of a printed circuit board manufacturing system is utilized to demonstrate how the system reliability can be evaluated. A further decision making issue is addressed based on the derived system reliability.
