BACKGROUND Radiologic adjacent segment degeneration(ASDeg)can occur after spinal *** segment disease(ASDis)is defined as the development of new clinical symptoms corresponding to radiographic changes adjacent to the level of previous spinal *** pre-existing ASDeg is generally considered to result in more severe ASDis;nonetheless,whether the ASDeg status before index surgery influences the postoperative risk of revision surgery due to ASDis warrants *** To identify possible risk factors for ASDis and verify the concept that greater preexisting ASDeg leads to more severe *** Data from 212 patients who underwent posterior decompression with Dynesys stabilization from January 2006 to June 2016 were retrospectively *** who underwent surgery for ASDis were categorized as group A(n=13),whereas those who did not were classified as group B(n=199).Survival analysis and Cox proportional hazards models were used to compare the modified Pfirrmann grade,University of California-Los Angeles grade,body mass index,number of Dynesys-instrumented levels,and *** The mean time of reoperation was 7.22(1.65–11.84)years in group A,and the mean follow-up period was 6.09(0.10–12.76)years in group *** significant difference in reoperation risk was observed:Modified Pfirrmann grade 3 vs 4(P=0.53)or 4 vs 5(P=0.46)for the upper adjacent disc,University of California-Los Angeles grade 2 vs 3 for the upper adjacent segment(P=0.66),age of60 years(P=0.9),body mass index25 kg/m2(P=0.3),and sex(P=0.8).CONCLUSION Greater preexisting upper ASDeg was not associated with a higher rate of reoperation for ASDis after Dynesys *** overweight tended to increase reoperation risk after Dynesys surgery for ASDis.

Metal-organic cages can undergo structural transformations due to the dynamic nature of dative bonds,however,the mechanism of transformation processes is often *** we report four metal-organic cages featuring Pd3L6-type and Pd4L8-type tubular structures by self-assembly of Pd（II） and two types of bidentate *** Pd3L6-type MOCs were synthesized in H2O while the Pd4L8-type cages were formed in dimethyl sulfoxide （DMSO）,indicating the solvent is critical for the *** structure transformation between Pd3L6and Pd4L8metal-organic cages can be interconverted when switching the DMSO and H2O in a relatively high *** cages partly disassemble into the metalloligands and Pd2+ions due to the competitive coordination of DMSO/H2O at low concentrations,achieving a concentration-controlled transformation ***,the structure transformation was monitored by ESI-MS,and the species of intermediate were detected,which provided direct clues for deciphering the mechanism of structural transformation.

Utilizing a range of techniques including multi-band light curves,softness ratio analysis,structure functions,rms spectra,cross-correlation functions,and ratios of spectra from different intervals,we present a comprehensive study of the complex X-ray spectral variability in Seyfert 1 galaxy Ark 120,through re-analyzing its six XMM-Newton observations taken between 2003 and *** find a clear“softer-when-brighter”trend in the 2–10 ke V power-law component over long timescales,with this trend being timescale dependent,as it is much weaker on shorter timescales,similar to that previously detected in NGC ***,a rare“harder-when-brighter”trend is observed during one exposure,indicating dynamic changes in the spectral variability behavior of the power-law *** exceptional exposure,with the spectral variability indeed marked by a power-law pivoting at an unusually low energy of～2 ke V,suggests intricate variations in the thermal Comptonization processes within the ***,when the data below 2 ke V are included,we identify that the soft excess component adds significant complexity to the spectral variability,such as evidenced by a transition from“harder-when-brighter”to“softer-when-brighter”during another single *** extra complexity arises because the variability of the soft excess sometimes follows and sometimes does not follow the changes in the power-law *** findings underscore the necessity of applying multiple analytic techniques to fully capture the multifaceted spectral variability of AGNs.

This study aims to explore the characteristics of change and the rules of response of the soil bacterial community structure and diversity during the evolution of alpine wetlands. It also seeks to identify the leading factors affecting changes in the soil bacterial community，with the goal of providing a scientific basis for the restoration and management of alpine wetland ecosystems. Three different types of wetlands （original alpine wetland，alpine wet meadow，and alpine meadow） were selected to represent the succession process of alpine wetlands. The composition and diversity of the soil bacterial communities were analyzed using high-throughput sequencing technology. The findings revealed the following：① Proteobacteria and Acidobacteria were the predominant bacteria，with their relative abundance exceeding 20.08%. In the alpine wetland，Nitrosomonadaceae and RB41 were the dominant bacteria. Meanwhile，Chthoniobacteraceae and Candidatus_Udaeobacter were the dominant genera in the alpine wet meadow and alpine meadow，respectively. ② Although no significant change was observed in community diversity，significant differences were present in the structure of the soil bacterial community at different succession stages （P © 2025 Science Press. 大力发展可再生能源已成为世界各国的共识,其中的重要方向之一是海上风电。海上风机上部结构所受的风、浪、流等复杂环境荷载最终由锚固基础承担,因此锚固基础的承载性能在确保整个系统的服役稳定性中起着决定性作用。串联锚是一种新型混合锚,由两个或多个传统锚板(如拖曳锚或法向承力锚)组合而成,具有安装成本低、锚固效率高、可重复使用和承载能力高等优点。提出了串联锚的塑性极限分析上限解可以快速预测串联锚的承载能力,发现不排水抗剪强度梯度k并不会对承载能力系数产生影响。在耦合荷载的影响下,串联锚的法向抗力主导了承载力的大小,切向荷载与旋转扭矩的发挥机制与单一锚板区别不大。服役过程中,串联锚相对于单个锚板需要更大的位移来调动其极限承载能力。

Positive matrix factorization （PMF） is one of the most widely used receptor models for PM2.5 source apportionment. The traditional PMF method generally uses inorganic （such as nitrate，sulfate，and EC） measurement data as input species to apportion PM2.5 sources. These species have ambiguous source origins;thus quantifying PM2.5 sources with high source sectors is difficult. In this study，online measurements of major chemical components，elemental tracers，as well as organic molecular markers were applied in a PMF model to investigate the differences between the major chemical components-based PMF （MCC） and organic molecular markers-based PMF （OMM） methods in terms of source identification，source separation，and source quantification. The results showed that with the input of organic molecular markers （such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons，fatty acids，dicarboxylic acids，hydroxyl-dicarboxylic acids，C9 acids，and phthalic acid），the OMM method greatly enlarged the number of source factors identified. Further，industry emission，shipping emission，dust，vehicle emission，biomass burning，secondary nitrate，and secondary sulfate;two primary source factors （coal combustion and cooking emission）;and four secondary organic aerosol （SOA） source factors were also resolved in the OMM method. Comparing with the source profiles resolved by the MCC method，we found that OC/EC mass ratios in OMM-resolved source profiles of industry emission，vehicle emission，biomass burning，and coal combustion were closer to those obtained from emission inventories. In terms of source quantification，the mass contributions of vehicle emission and biomass burning resolved by the MCC method were notably higher than those resolved by the OMM method，especially under high O3 concentrations （> 120 μg·m-3）.
