BACKGROUND Left cardiac myxoma(CM)is the most common benign tumor of primary cardiac tumors,but because of its special position caused by pathological physiology change,caused by the complications of the heavier,the surface is often accompanied by blood clots,once fall out,it causes peripheral vascular embolization,such as acute lower limb artery embo-lization,harmfulness is large,high morbidity,and easy to occur *** SUMMARY A 67-year-old male patient suddenly appeared numbness and weakness of the left lower limb and could not walk without obvious *** patient was finally diagnosed as left CM complicated with acute lower limb arterial embolism after completing cardiac ultrasound,computer tomography angiography,and histopathological analysis,such as hematoxylin-eosin stain staining,immunohistochemistry and special staining including alcian blue staining and periodic acid schiff *** thrombosis was removed successfully by femoral artery thrombectomy,postoperative numbness and weakness of the patient’s left lower limb disappeared,skin temperature became warm,and dorsal foot artery pulsation was *** patient was readmitted to the hospital 8 mo after discharge for left atrial mass resection,and was diagnosed as CM by postoperative histopathological *** Although CM is rare,it may be considered as the source of embolism in patients with acute limb *** loss of thrombus on the tumor and its surface may lead to repeated embolism of peripheral *** ultrasound is helpful for early ***,we use this case report to highlight left CM as an important cause of acute limb ischemia and to report our experience in the diagnosis and treatment of lower limb arterial embolism caused by CM detachment.

Major QTL Conferring Resistance to Rice Bacterial Leaf Streak

Bacterial leaf streak （BLS） is one of the important limiting factors to rice production in southern China and other tropical and sub-tropical areas in Asia. Resistance to BLS was found to be a quantitative trait and no major resistant gene was located in rice until date. In the present study, a new major quantitative trait locus （QTL） conferring resistance to BLS was identified from a highly resistant variety Dular by the employment of Dular/Balilla （DB） and Dular/IR24 （DI） segregation populations and was designated qBLSR-11-1. This QTL was located between the simple sequence repeat （SSR） markers RM120 and RM441 on chromosome 11 and could account for 18.1-21.7% and 36.3% of the variance in DB and DI populations, respectively. The genetic pattern of rice resistance to BLS was discussed.

Effect of embryo quality on pregnancy outcomes for women completing biochemical pregnancy in in vitro fertilizationembryo transfer(IVF-ET)

Objective To analyze the effect of the numbers of transferred good-quality embryos on pregnancy outcomes in in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer （IVF-ET）, supplying a reference for selection of transferred embryos.Methods Five hundreds and one infertile patients who underwent IVF-ET were retrospectively analyzed. All cycles were divided into 3 groups by the number of transferred good-quality embryos （group A： two good-quality embryos, group B： one good-quality embryo, group C： no good-quality embryo）, with no significant difference in general condition such as age, infertility duration and infertility types. The pregnancy outcomes were compared and analyzed among the three groups.Results 1） Live-birth rate was improved with increasing good-quality transferred embryo numbers. Groups A （70.3%） and B （69.8%） had no significant difference （P=0. 409）, whereas it was significantly greater in groups A and B than in group C （57. 7%）（P=0.009, P=0.036）. 2） The loss of single gestational sacs rate, which have no significant difference among 3 groups （P=0.221, P=0.539, P=0.226）, reduced with increasing good-quality transferred embryos numbers. 3） Biochemical pregnancy abortion rate in groups A （10.9%） and B （10.1%） was significantly lower than that in group C （18.3%）（P=0.049, P=0.049）. 4） There was no significant difference among 3 groups in ectopic pregnancy rate （P=0.174, P=0.129, P=0.404）. 5）Multiple-birth rate was improved with increasing good-quality transferred embryos numbers, it was significantly greater in group A （31.6%） than in group C （15.0%）（P=0.020）, while groups B and A had no significant difference （P=0.489, P=0.126）.Conclusion Two good-quality transferred embryos have no significantly difference to 1 good-quality embryo in all pregnancy outcomes. In clinic treatment, we can select 1 good-quality embryo and 1 poor-quality embryo when patients only have few goodquality embryos. BACKGROUND Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)has been extensively used to treat portal hypertension-associated complications,including *** prediction of post-TIPS prognosis is important for cirrhotic patients,as more aggressive liver transplantation is needed when the post-TIPS prognosis is *** To construct a nutrition-based model that could predict the disease progression of cirrhotic patients after TIPS implantation in a sex-dependent *** This study retrospectively recruited cirrhotic patients undergoing TIPS implantation for *** quality was assessed by measuring the skeletal muscle index(SMI)by computed *** Cox proportional hazard models were utilized to determine the association between SMI and disease progression in cirrhotic patients after TIPS *** This study eventually included 186 cirrhotic patients receiving TIPS who were followed up for 30.5±18.8 *** male patients,the 30-mo survival rate was significantly lower and the probability of progressive events was higher(3.257-fold)in the low-level SMI group than in the high-level SMI *** to the multivariate Cox analysis of male patients,SMI<32.8 was an independent risk factor for long-term adverse outcomes after TIPS implantation.A model was constructed,which involved creatinine,plasma ammonia,SMI,and acute-on-chronic liver failure and hepatic encephalopathy occurring within half a year after *** model had an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.852,sensitivity of 0.926,and specificity of *** to the results of the DeLong test,this model outperformed other models(Child-Turcotte-Pugh,Model for End-Stage Liver Disease,and Freiburg index of post-TIPS survival)(P<0.05).CONCLUSION SMI is strongly associated with poor long-term outcomes in male patients with cirrhosis who underwent TIPS implantation.

Objective This study was designed to conduct a retrospective and systematic occupational health risk assessment(OHRA)of enterprises that used benzene,toluene,and xylene(BTX)in Shanghai,*** All data for the study were obtained from 1,705 occupational health examination and evaluation reports from 2013 to 2017,and a semiquantitative model following Chinese OHRA guidelines(GBZ/T 298-2017)was applied for the *** The selected enterprises using BTX were mainly involved in manufacturing of *** the exposure level method,health risk levels associated with exposure to BTX were classified as medium,negligible,or ***,the risk levels associated with benzene and toluene were significantly different according to job types,with gluers and inkers exhibiting greater health *** the same job type,the health risk levels assessed using the comprehensive index method were higher than those using the exposure level *** Our OHRA reveals that workers who are exposed to BTX still face excessive health ***,the risk level varied depending on job categories and exposure to specific ***,additional control measures recommended by OHRA guidelines are essential to reduce worker exposure levels.

Analysis of floor failure depth by using electric profiling method in longwall gangue backfill mining

In underground mining, floor failure depth accompanying mining phases usually results from changes in the advance abutment pressure in the coal mass, and changes in stress redistribution in the areas that have already been mined. Although a variety of techniques have been applied to determine the failure depth, and a number of studies have provided the evidence for the decreasing of failure depth under backfilling, these methods and interactions have not been unequivocally identified. Based on the premise of one possible relation between the failure depth and filling body, which is that the filling materials （gangue） in the gob area can not only restrain the movement of the overlying strata effectively, but also can help to decrease failure depth of the floor in the coal mine. The failure depth in a specific longwall gangue backfilling mine was measured using the mine electricity profiling method. These electrode cables are arranged in a crossheading order to measure the depth and position of the destroyed floor using the DC method. After this, several different methods were used to interpret the recorded data from the field study for gaining failure depth, and the results were compared to the theoretical calculation values. And finally, the authors analyzed the reasons for failure depth form values recorded not indicating a large decrease trend when compared to the theoretical calculation. In this area, it is found that： ① The results using the mine electricity profiling method turns out to be robust and can be used in predicting floor failure depth, and the horizontal position of the maximum destroyed in working face of longwall backfilling. The maximum destroyed position and failure space of the floor can be identified by using this method. ②There is a time-delay processing between the advance of the working face and the failure of floor strata in the mining processing. ③Additionally, based on the data collected from field measurements, which includes three diffe

Effect of Nb and alloying elements on interface reaction between high Nb-containing TiAl alloys and ZrO_2-based ceramic moulds

In the present study, Ti-45Al-(6, 7, 8)Nb(at%) and Ti-45Al-8Nb-0.5(Mn, Si, Y, B) alloys were prepared by arc melting and casting into Zr O2(Y2O3 stabilized) ceramic moulds to study the effect of alloying elements Nb and Mn, Si, Y, B on the interfacial reaction between casting Ti Al alloys and ceramic moulds by SEM, and the elements' distribution in the interface reaction layer by line scanning. The results showed that with an increase in Nb content, the interfacial reaction weakened and the thickness of the reaction layer decreased gradually. The interface reaction thickness of the alloys with Nb content of 6, 7, 8at% were 60, 34 and 26 μm, respectively. Clearly, the addition of 8at% Nb to Ti-45 Al is the best for the thickness of the reaction layer. The addition of Nb would form a Nb-rich film in the reaction layer, which could reduce the solubility of oxygen in the interface, and suppress further diffusion of oxygen to the matrix. If the same content of Mn, Si, Y, or B alloying elements were added respectively to Ti-45Al-8Nb, the thickness of the interface reaction layer from large to small was as follows: Mn>Si>Y>B. The interface reaction thickness increased after 0.5at% Mn added, had no obvious change after 0.5at% Si addition, and decreased after adding 0.5at% Y or B. The introduced elements, which formed a protective film or/and promoted the formation of a dense aluminum oxide layer, would be of benefit to the resistance of interfacial reaction.

SG-II-Up prototype final optics assembly:optical damage and clean-gas control

The Shenguang-II Upgrade(SG-II Up) facility is an under-construction high-power laser driver with eight beams, 24 kJ energy, 3 ns pulse duration and ultraviolet laser output, in the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, *** prototype design and experimental research of the prototype final optics assembly(FOA), which is one of the most important parts of the SG-II Up facility, have been completed on the ninth beam of the SG-II facility. Thirty-three shots were fired using 1-ω energy from 1000 to 4500 J and 3-ω energy from 500 to 2403 J with a 3 ns square pulse. During the experiments, emphasis was given to the process of optical damage and to the effects of clean-gas control. A numerical model of the FOA generated by the Integrated Computer Engineering and Manufacturing code for Computational Fluid Dynamics(ICEMCFD) demonstrated that a flux within 1–5 l s^(-1) and a 180 s period is effectual to avoid contaminant sputtering to the optics. The presence of surface ‘mooning' damage and surface spots located outside the clear aperture are induced by contaminants such as wire, silica gel and millimeter order fiber and metal.

An NO2 photoacoustic sensor system with a high reflective mirror based on a low power blue diode laser is developed in this work. The excitation power is enhanced by increasing the number of reflections. Comparing with a traditional photoacoustic system, the pool constant is improved from 300.24(Pa·cm)/W to 1450.64(Pa·cm)/W, and the signal sensitivity of the photoacoustic sensor is increased from 0.016 μV/ppb to 0.2562 μV/ppb. The characteristics of temperature and humidity of the new photoacoustic sensor are also obtained, and the algorithm is adjusted to provide a quantitative response and drift of the resonance frequency. The results of this research provide a new method and concept for further developing the NO2 photoacoustic sensors.
