This study was designed to investigate persistence of gentamicin residues in milk after the intramammary treatment of lactating cows for mastitis. Milk samples were collected at a 1-d interval after the last administration from 34 individual cows that had received intramammary infusions of gentamicin. The doses and treatment times evaluated in this study represented those that have been applied by veterinarians in practice. The tetrazolium chloride assay was used to determine whether there were significant residues of the antibiotic in the samples. Persistence of detectable drug residues in milk from 33 cows (28 cows, ≤6 infusions at ≤0.7 g gentamicin; and 5 cows, 2 infusions at 0.8 g gentamicin) did not exceed 5 d; but 1 cow (5 infusions at 0.8 g gentamicin) had detectable residues in its milk for 9 d. Our results suggest that a 5-d milk withdrawal period might be insufficient to secure the clearance of the contamination of gentamicin, because treatment times and dosages contribute to the antibiotic clearance. A larger scale of samples are needed for further investigations.

Nanogranular Fe0.35/(In2O3)0.65films with complex magnetic structure were prepared by the rf sputtering method. An extra-largemagnetoresistance up to 506% was obtained at 2.2K, which is two orders of magnitude larger than that obtained at room temperature. Thisis related to the interaction with the impurities influencing the local magnetization, which is quite different from the spin-dependent tunnellingeffect at room temperature. The interspacing Fe atoms dispersed in the In2O3matrix play an important role in the transportation properties of carriers at low temperature.

NAC转录因子家族是一种植物特有的基因家族,对植物的生长发育和应对非生物胁迫具有重要的作用。为筛选和分析紫鸭跖草的NAC转录因子家族,本研究基于紫鸭跖草转录组数据,筛选鉴定出紫鸭跖草的NAC转录因子家族,并运用生物学工具对其进行初步分析。结果显示:在紫鸭跖草的转录组数据中鉴定出16个NAC转录因子,其编码的氨基酸的序列长度在119~163 bp之间,12个CpNAC蛋白为碱性蛋白,4个CpNAC蛋白为酸性蛋白,CpNAC蛋白均为亲水性蛋白。CpNAC蛋白二级结构含量较高的元件是α-螺旋和无规则卷曲,定位于线粒体基质、细胞质和细胞核的CpNAC蛋白数目分别是2、6和8个。进化树显示,7个物种的NAC蛋白聚类为11个类群,其中CpNAC蛋白分布在6个类群中。本研究为研究紫鸭跖草NAC转录因子家族及其蛋白的生物学功能奠定了一定的基础。

Long-term outcomes of additional surgery versus non-gastrectomy treatment for early gastric cancer after non-curative endoscopic submucosal dissection: a meta-analysis

Background:Endoscopic resection is increasingly used in the treatment for early gastric cancer(EGC);however,about 15%of endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)cases report non-curative *** efficacy of different remedial interventions after non-curative ESD for EGC remains *** meta-analysis aimed to compare the long-term outcomes of additional surgery and non-gastrectomy treatment for EGC patients who underwent non-curative ***:All relevant studies published up to October 2021 were systematically searched in the PubMed,Web of Science,and Embase *** medical subject headings terms"early gastric cancer,""gastrectomy,""endoscopic submucosal dissection,"and their related free keywords were used to search relevant articles without restrictions on regions,publication types,or *** Newcastle–Ottawa Quality Assessment Scale was used to evaluate the quality of the included *** ratios(ORs)with 95%confidence intervals(CIs)of 5-year overall survival(OS),disease-specific survival(DSS),disease-free survival(DFS)and hazard ratios(HRs)with 95%CIs of OS were calculated using a random-or fixed-effects ***:This meta-analysis included 17 retrospective cohort studies with 5880 patients,of whom 3167 underwent additional surgery and 2713 underwent *** found that patients receiving additional gastrectomy had better 5-year OS(OR=3.63,95%CI=3.05–4.31),DSS(OR=3.22,95%CI=2.22–4.66),and DFS(OR=4.39,95%CI=1.78–10.82)outcomes than those receiving non-gastrectomy *** pooled HR also showed that gastrectomy following non-curative ESD significantly improved OS(HR=0.40,95%CI=0.33–0.48).In addition,elderly patients benefited from additional surgery in consideration of the 5-year OS(HR=0.54,95%CI=0.41–0.72).Conclusions:Compared with non-gastrectomy treatments,additional surgery offered better long-term survival outcomes for patients with EGC who underwent non-curative ESD.

In this paper, a novel unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-enabled full duplex decode-and-forward(DF) technique is used in mobile relaying system. Compared with conventional static relaying, mobile relaying provides more degree of freedom for experiencing better channel conditions and further improving the system reliable performance. The source and relay transmit power as well as relay trajectory are jointly optimized for sum outage probability minimization in mobile relaying system. Due to the non-convex nature of the original problem, block coordinate decent optimization techniques are employed to decompose it into two sub-problems, which leads to an efficient iterative algorithm. Specifically, for the pre-determined relay trajectory, the optimal transmit power of source and relay are obtained by solving Karush-Kuhn-Tucker(KKT) conditions. For the given source/relay power allocation, the optimal UAV trajectory is obtained by solving dual problem. Based on the two steps, an iterative algorithm is proposed to jointly optimize source/relay power allocation and UAV trajectory alternately. Numerical results show the performance gain of our proposed scheme.

Detection and mitigation of radio frequency interference （RFI） is the first and also the key step for data processing in radio observations, especially for ongoing low frequency radio experiments towards the detection of the cosmic dawn and epoch of reionization （EoR）. In this paper we demonstrate the tech- nique and efficiency of RFI identification and mitigation for the 21 Centimeter Array （21CMA）, a radio interferometer dedicated to the statistical measurement of EoR. For terrestrial, man-made RFI, we concen- trate mainly on a statistical approach by identifying and then excising non-Gaussian signatures, in the sense that the extremely weak cosmic signal is actually buried under thermal and therefore Gaussian noise. We also introduce the so-called visibility correlation coefficient instead of conventional visibility, which allows a further suppression of rapidly time-varying RFI. Finally, we briefly discuss removals of the sky RFI, the leakage of sidelobes from off-field strong radio sources with time-invariant power and a featureless spec- trum. It turns out that state of the art technique should allow us to detect and mitigate RFI to a satisfactory level in present low frequency interferometer observations such as those acquired with the 21CMA, and the accuracy and efficiency can be greatly improved with the employment of low-cost, high-speed computing facilities for data acquisition and processing.
