Tetrakis（alkoxycarbonyl）porphyrin and its β-octafluoro-substituted derivatives were synthesized via Lindsey method and transformed to their zinc complexes. Single crystal X-ray structures of corresponding Zn（II） porphyrins revealed that β-octafluorination will give more compactness of porphyrin moieties in the crystal structure owing to the hydrogen bonding interactions involving β- fluorine atoms. An unusual six-coordinated Zn（II） was found via intramolecular coordination of oxygen atom of meso-substituents with central Zn（II）.

The rapid development of additive manufacturing technology has offered a new avenue for designing and fabricating high wave-absorbing meta *** this study,the mechanical properties and broadband absorption performance of Poly-Ether-Ether-ketone(PEEk)–based electromagnetic wave–absorbing composite materials was *** high-performance polymer PEEk was used as the matrix,and the materials with electromagnetic wave loss,such as reduced graphene oxide,Carbonyl Iron(CI),and Flake CI(FCI),were used as *** on the theory of impedance matching,a wave-absorbing structure with a gradual impedance gradient was designed and *** test results showed that at the 2.0–18.0 GHz frequency band,the coverage rate of the effective absorption bandwidth was up to 72.0%,the average optimal reflectivity was–18.09 dB,and the wide-angle absorption range was 0°–30°.The advantages of additive manufacturing technology in designing and fabricating wave-absorbing structures are presented,demonstrating that the technology is an effective method for creating broadband absorbing structures.

Soluble receptor for advanced glycation end products(sRAGE)acts as a decoy sequestering of RAGE ligands,thus preventing the activation of the ligand-RAGE axis linking human ***,the molecular mechanisms underlying sRAGE remain *** this study,THP-1 monocytes were cultured in normal glucose(NG,5.5 mmol/L)and high glucose(HG,15 mmol/L)to investigate the effects of diabetesrelevant glucose concentrations on sRAGE and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)*** modulatory effects of epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)in response to HG challenge were also *** enhanced intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation and RAGE *** secretion of sRAGE,including esRAGE and cRAGE,was reduced under HG conditions,together with the downregulation of a disintegrin and metallopeptidase 10(ADAM10)and nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)nuclear ***,the HG effects were counteracted by siRAGE and exacerbated by *** immunoprecipitation results showed that Nrf2 binding to the ADAM10 promoter and HG interfered with this *** data reinforce the notion that RAGE and Nrf2 might be sRAGE-regulating *** HG conditions,the treatment of EGCG reduced ROS generation and RAGE ***-stimulated cRAGE release was likely caused by the upregulation of the Nrf2-ADAM10 *** inhibited HG-mediated NLRP3 inflammasome activation at least partly by stimulating sRAGE,thereby reducing IL-1βrelease.

Structured-light(SL)based 3D sensors have been widely used in many *** SL is the most widely deployed among all SL sensors due to its light weight,compact size,fast video rate,and low *** transmitter(known as the dot projector)consists of a randomly patterned vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser(VCSEL)array multiplicated by a diffractive optical element(DOE)with a fixed repeated *** that the separation of any two speckles is only one known and fixed number(albeit random),there are no other known scales to cal-ibrate or ***,typical SL sensors require extensive in-factory calibrations,and the depth resolution is limited to 1 mm at-60 cm *** this paper,to the best of our knowledge,we propose a novel dot projector and a new addressable SL(ASL)3D sensor by using a regularly spaced,individually addressable VCSEL array,multiplicated by a metasurface-DOE(MDOE)into a random pattern of the *** turning on or off the VCSELs in the array provides multiple known distances between neighboring speckles,which is used as a“built-in caliper”to achieve higher accuracy of *** as a precise“vernier caliper,”the addressable VCSEL array enables fine control over speckle positions and high detection *** experimentally dem-onstrated that the proposed method can result in sub-hundred-micron level *** new concept opens new possibilities for applications such as 3D computation,facial recognition,and wearable devices.

This paper studies the problem of time-varying formation control with finite-time prescribed performance for nonstrict feedback second-order multi-agent systems with unmeasured states and unknown *** eliminate nonlinearities,neural networks are applied to approximate the inherent dynamics of the *** addition,due to the limitations of the actual working conditions,each follower agent can only obtain the locally measurable partial state information of the leader *** address this problem,a neural network state observer based on the leader state information is ***,a finite-time prescribed performance adaptive output feedback control strategy is proposed by restricting the sliding mode surface to a prescribed region,which ensures that the closed-loop system has practical finite-time stability and that formation errors of the multi-agent systems converge to the prescribed performance bound in finite ***,a numerical simulation is provided to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the developed algorithm.

Over the course of millions of years,nature has evolved to ensure survival and presents us with a myriad of functional surfaces and structures that can boast high efficiency,multifunctionality,and *** makes these surfaces particularly practical and effective is the intricate micropatterning that enables selective interactions with *** of these structures have been realized in the laboratory environment using numerous fabrication techniques by tailoring specific surface *** the available manufacturing methods,additive manufacturing(AM)has created opportunities for fabricating these structures as the complex architectures of the naturally occurring microstructures far exceed the traditional *** paper presents a concise overview of the fundamentals of such patterned microstructured surfaces,their fabrication techniques,and diverse applications.A comprehensive evaluation of micro fabrication methods is conducted,delving into their respective strengths and *** emphasis is placed on AM processes like inkjet printing and micro digital light projection printing due to the intrinsic advantages of these processes to additively fabricate high resolution structures with high fidelity and *** paper explores the various advancements in these processes in relation to their use in microfabrication and also presents the recent trends in applications like the fabrication of microlens arrays,microneedles,and tissue scaffolds.

We propose a general concealed voter model(GCVM),in which individuals interact in two layers and can exchange their opinions in the internal *** interaction is not allowed in a *** exchanging opinions in the internal layer,we mean that individuals share their real or internal opinions with their close *** process of opinion formation in GCVM is presented in the *** make the series of numerical simulations of GCVM with different network structures(both external and internal)and get some counterintuitive *** instance,we find out that sometimes with a relatively simple network structure of an external layer the consensus within the individuals’opinions cannot be reached,and if individuals in the network are not good at expressing their opinions publicly(in an external layer),exchanging opinions with their close friends(in an internal layer)is almost useless.

Corneal neuromas,also termed microneuromas,refer to microscopic,irregula rly-shaped enlargements of terminal subbasal nerve endings at sites of nerve damage or *** formation of corneal neuromas results from damage to corneal nerves,such as following corneal pathology or corneal or intraocular surge ***,denervated areas of sensory nerve fibers become invaded by sprouts of intact sensory nerve fibers,and later injured axons regenerate and new sprouts called neuromas *** recent years,analysis of corneal nerve abnormalities including corneal neuromas which can be identified using in vivo confocal microscopy,a non-invasive imaging technique with microscopic resolution,has been used to evaluate corneal neuropathy and ocular surface *** neuromas have been shown to be associated with clinical symptoms of discomfort and dryness of eyes,and are a promising surrogate biomarker for ocular surface diseases,such as neuropathic corneal pain,dry eye disease,diabetic corneal neuropathy,neurotrophic keratopathy,Sjogren's syndrome,bullous keratopathy,post-refra ctive surgery,and *** this review,we have summarized the current literature on the association between these ocular surface diseases and the presentation of corneal microneuromas,as well as elaborated on their pathogenesis,visualization via in vivo confocal microscopy,and utility in monitoring treatment *** current quantitative analysis on neuromas mainly relies on manual annotation and quantification,which is user-dependent and labor-intensive,future direction includes the development of artificial intelligence software to identify and quantify these potential imaging biomarkers in a more automated and sensitive manner,allowing it to be applied in clinical settings more *** imaging and molecular biomarkers may also help elucidate the associations between corneal neuromas and ocular surface diseases.
