Impact of volcanism on the formation and hydrocarbon generation of organic-rich shale in the Jiyang Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, china

Globally,most organic-rich shales are deposited with volcanic ash *** ash,a source for many sedimentary basins,can affect the sedimentary water environment,alter the primary productivity,and preserve the organic matter(OM)through physical,chemical,and biological *** an increasing number of breakthroughs in shale oil exploration in the Bohai Bay Basin in recent years,less attention has been paid to the crucial role of volcanic impact especially its influence on the OM enrichment and hydrocarbon ***,we studied the petrology,mineralogy,and geochemical characteristics of the organic-rich shale in the upper submember of the fourth member(Es_(4)^(1))and the lower submember of the third member(Es_(3)^(3))of the Shahejie Formation,aiming to better understand the volcanic impact on organic-rich shale *** results show that total organic carbon is higher in the upper shale intervals rich in volcanic ash with enriched light rare earth elements and moderate Eu *** indicates that volcanism promoted OM formation before or after the *** positive correlation between Eu/Eu*and Post-Archean Australian Shale indicates hydrothermal activity before the volcanic *** plane graph of the hydrocarbon-generating intensity(S1+S2)suggests that the heat released by volcanism promoted hydrocarbon ***,the nutrients carried by volcanic ash promoted biological blooms during Es_(4)^(1 )and Es_(3)^(3) deposition,yielding a high primary *** blooms consume large amounts of oxygen and form anoxic environments conducive to the burial and preservation of ***,this study helps to further understand the organic-inorganic interactions caused by typical geological events and provides a guide for the next step of shale oil exploration and development in other lacustrine basins in china.

The development of a coal-based synthetic route to produce benzene polycarboxylic acids(BPCAs)is of great importance for the highly efficient utilization of *** this paper,aqueous NaCl^(-)electrolytic system was used to oxidize Zhaotong lignite to prepare *** electrochemical oxidation of lignite in aqueous NaCl solution could produce more BPCAs than that in aqueous NaOH *** aqueous NaCl electrolytic system could in-suit produce a stable OCl^(-),which was synthesized by the combination reaction between Cl_(2)and OH􀀀generated in the anode or cathode,*** in-suit produced OCl^(-)would degrade the organic structures of the lignite dispersing in the electrolyte to generate *** formation of BPCAs could be greatly affected by current density,electrolysis time and the addition amount of NaCl in the electrolytic system,which resulted from that the factors played an important role in the generation of OCl^(-).The coal related model compounds including anthracene and phenanthrene were used to investigate the electrochemical oxidation mechanism of the *** results indicated that the aromatic ring structures in the lignite were attacked by O_(2)•^(-)from the OCl^(-)to afford BPCAs.

An ultrafast framing camera with a pulse-dilation device,a microchannel plate(MCP)imager,and an electronic imaging system were *** camera achieved a temporal resolution of 10 ps by using a pulse-dilation device and gated MCP imager,and a spatial resolution of 100μm by using an electronic imaging system comprising combined magnetic *** spatial resolution characteristics of the camera were studied both theoretically and *** results showed that the camera with combined magnetic lenses reduced the field curvature and acquired a larger working area.A working area with a diameter of 53 mm was created by applying four magnetic lenses to the ***,the camera was used to detect the X-rays produced by the laser-targeting *** diagnostic results indicated that the width of the X-ray pulse was approximately 18 ps.

The excellent energy storage performances of dielectric materials,a high energy density and efficiency,the stability in a wide range of temperature,frequency and cycling time,are surely desirable for the energy storage devices.A trade-off relationship between polarization and breakdown strength,however,limits the enhancement of energy storage properties of dielectric *** effectively boost the energy density and efficiency of dielectric capacitors,by inserting a BiFeO3 layer into the BaTiO3 film in present case,the symmetric BaTiO3/BiFeO3/BaTiO3 tri-layer film heterostructure with antiferroelectric-like characteristics was constructed based on the dual-interlayer coupling effect,what's more,its antiferroelectric-like characteristics will evolve with electric *** the tunable polarization behavior endows it with an enhanced maximum polarization but a reduced remnant one,a delayed saturation of polarization and a high breakdown strength,which are synergistically accountable for a large energy density(Wrec∼109 J/cm^(3))and a high efficiency(η∼82.6%),together with the good thermal(TR∼200℃,ΔWrecching the performance tuning of ferroelectrics,especially in enhancing their energy storage characteristics.

In this study, a high-carbon nano-bainitic GCr15Si1Mo bearing steel was investigated. Specifically, the effects of content and size of undissolved carbides on the microstructure and transformation kinetics of nano-bainite were analyzed. The results demonstrated that after prolonged austempering at low temperatures, the mixed microstructure composed of nano-bainite (NB), undissolved carbides (UC), and retained austenite (RA) was obtained in GCr15SiMo steel. When the experimental steel was austenitized at 900 ℃, the undissolved carbides gradually dissolved until reaching a stable state with increasing holding time. Furthermore, at the same austempering temperature, despite different volume fractions of undissolved carbides in the substrate, the volume fractions of nano-bainite in the final microstructures remained essentially the same. Moreover, the higher the content of undissolved carbides in steel, the faster the transformation rate of nano-bainite and the shorter the total transformation time.

Nanopore design of sulfur doped hollow carbon nanospheres for superior potassium-ion battery anodes

Sulfur doped carbonaceous materials are promising anodes for potassium-ion batteries because of their ability to bridge active sites and induce C/S electron coupling,resulting in increased ion storage capacitance However,the large potassium ions could cause significant volume expansion and structure collapse during operation in sulfur doped carbonaceous anodes,which lead to rapidly capacity sacrifice during long-term *** design for anchoring sulfur atom in carbon skeleton is a novel way to alleviate the structure collapse and maintain the cycling ***,this study developed a controlled nanopore and sulfur doped carbon sphere structure(S-NPHCSs).In potassium-ion batteries S-NPHCSs anode demonstrated exceptional performance with a high reversible capacity of 247 mAh·g^(–1)after 50 cycles at 0.2 A·g^(–1)and delivered a long cycle stability of 600 cycles at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(–1).Interconnected nanopores and doped sulfur structure not only expand the accumulation space and offer ample active sites for diffusion and adsorption of potassium ions,but also build stable channels through nanopore structure to ensure the cyclic *** finding provides a fundamental theory for designing nanopore structures and introducing sulfur doped carbonaceous materials to enhance capacitive potassium storage and long cycle stability.

Fluorescence Anisotropy(FA)is an effective biochemical detection method based on molecular *** oxide(GO)has been extensively used as an FA ***,the enhancement of FA by GO alone is limited and the strong scattering of GO will easily make the measurement of FA *** order to address these problems,an octopus-like DNA nanostructure(ODN)was designed and coupled with GO to enhance the FA together in this *** mimicking the multi-clawed structure of the octopus,the ODN can be adsorbed on GO tightly,which not only could improve the sensitivity because of the double FA enhancement abilities of GO and ODN,but also could improve the specificity due to the decrease of the nonspecific interaction in complex ***,ODN could maintain a certain distance between the fluorophore and GO to reduce the fluorescence quenching efficiency of GO,which could improve the *** method has been applied for the detection of hepatitis B virus DNA(HBV-DNA)in a range of 1-50 nmol/L and the limit of detection(LOD)was 330 pmol/*** addition,the proposed method has been successfully utilized to detect HBV-DNA in human serum,indicating that this method has a great practical application prospect.
