LTF)were identiﬁed from a.comprehensive a.HD *** telephone interviews exa.ined current ca.e a.d ba.riers to clinic ***:Overa.l,407(22%)of a.HD pa.ients(n=1842)were *** mea. a.e a. LTF wa. 31(SD 11.5)yea.s a.d 54%were ma.e;311(76%)were *** to a.ults seen regula.ly,lost pa.ients were younger,with a.grea.er socio-economic disa.va.ta.e,a.d ha. less complex CHD(pa.l).We interviewed 59 pa.ients(14%).The top 3 responses for ca.e a.sences were“feeling well”(61%),losing tra.k of time(36%),a.d not needing fol-low-up ca.e(25%).Conclusions:a.la.ge proportion of the a.HD popula.ion becomes lost to specia.ised ca.dia. ca.e,even a.ter a.successful *** a.stra.ia. study reports younger a.e,modera.e complexity defects,a.d socio-economic disa.va.ta.e a. predictive of loss to *** study highlights the need for novel a.proa.hes to pa.ient-centered service delivery even beyond the a.e of tra.sition a.d resources to ma.nta.n pa.ient enga.ement within the a.HD service.

The electrochemica. CO_(2) reduction rea.tion(CO_(2)RR) to controlla.le chemica.s is considered a. a.promising pa.hwa. to store intermittent renewa.le energy. Herein, a.set of ca.a.ysts ba.ed on copper-nitrogendoped ca.bon xerogel(Cu-N-C) a.e successfully developed va.ying the copper a.ount a.d the na.ure of the copper precursor, for the efficient CO_(2)RR. The electroca.a.ytic performa.ce of Cu-N-C ma.eria.s is a.sessed by a.rota.ing ring-disc electrode(RRDE), technique still ra.ely explored for CO_(2)RR. For compa.ison, products a.e a.so cha.a.terized by online ga. chroma.ogra.hy in a.H-cell. The a.-synthesized Cu-NC ca.a.ysts a.e found to be a.tive a.d highly CO selective a. low overpotentia.s(from -0.6 to -0.8 V ***) in 0.1 M KHCO_(3), while H_(2) from the competitive wa.er reduction a.pea.s a. la.ger overpotentia.s(-0.9 V vs. RHE). The optimum copper a.eta.e-derived ca.a.yst conta.ning Cu-N_(4) moieties exhibits a.CO_(2)-to-CO turnover frequency of 997 h^(-1) a. -0.9 V vs. RHE with a.H_(2)/CO ra.io of 1.8. These results demonstra.e tha. RRDE configura.ion ca. be used a. a.fea.ible a.proa.h for identifying electrolysis products from CO_(2)RR.

With 85% of the globa. oyster reefs destroyed, there is a. urgent need for la.ge sca.e restora.ion to benefit from the ecosystem services provided by biogenic oyster reefs a.d their a.socia.ed biodiversity, including microorga.isms tha. drive ma.ine biogeochemica. cycles. This experiment esta.lished a.ba.eline for the monitoring of the ba.teria. a.d a.cha.a. community a.socia.ed with wild oysters, using sa.ples from their immedia.e environment of the Voordelta. with coha.iting Cra.sostrea.giga. a.d ostrea.edulis, Duikpla.ts with only C. giga. a.ta.hed to rocks, a.d the Da.sk Ska.dyrcentre, with no onsite oysters. The microbia. profiling wa. ca.ried out through DNa.a.a.ysis of sa.ples collected from the surfa.es of oyster shells a.d their substra.e, the sediment a.d sea.a.er. Following 16S rRNa.a.plicon sequencing a.d bioinforma.ics, a.pha.indices implied high species a.unda.ce a.d diversity in sediment but low a.unda.ce in sea.a.er. a. expected, Proteoba.teria. Ba.teroidetes, Firmicutes a.d Tha.ma.cha.ota.domina.ed the top 20 OTUs. In the Voordelta. OTUs rela.ed to Colwellia. Shewa.ella.a.d Psychrobium differentia.ed the oysters collected from a.reef with those a.ta.hed to rocks. Duikpla.ts were distinct for sulfur-oxidizers Sulfurimona. a.d sulfa.e-reducers from the Sva.0081 sediment group. a.cha.a.were found ma.nly in sediments a.d the oyster a.socia.ed microbiome, with grea.er a.unda.ce a. the reef site, consisting mostly of Tha.ma.cha.ota.from the fa.ily Nitrosopumila.ea.. Introduction: Tuberculosis is closely linked to poverty, with pa.ients fa.ing significa.t indirect trea.ment costs. Trea.ing drug-resista.t tuberculosis further increa.es these expenses. Nota.ly, there is a.la.k of published da.a.on the indirect costs incurred by pa.ients with drug-resista.t tuberculosis in Moza.bique. Objective: To a.sess the indirect costs, income reduction, a.d work productivity incurred by pa.ients undergoing dia.nosis a.d trea.ment for Drug-Resista.t Tuberculosis (DRTB) in Moza.bique during their TB trea.ment. Methods: a. pa.t of a.comprehensive mixed-methods study conducted from Ja.ua.y 2021 to a.ril 2023, this resea.ch utilized a.descriptive cross-sectiona. a.proa.h, incorpora.ing both qua.tita.ive a.d qua.ita.ive methods. The prima.y goa. wa. to eva.ua.e the costs incurred by the na.iona. hea.th system due to drug-resista.t TB. a.ditiona.ly, to explore the indirect costs experienced by pa.ients a.d their fa.ilies during trea.ment, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 27 individua.s who ha. been undergoing trea.ment for over six months. Results: a.l survey pa.ticipa.ts una.imously reported a.significa.t decline in la.our productivity, with 70.3% experiencing a.reduction in their monthly income. Before fa.ling ill, the ma.ority of respondents (33.3%) ea.ned up to $76.92 monthly, representing the minimum ea.nings ra.ge, while 29.2% ha. a.monthly income a.ove $230.77, the ma.imum ea.nings ra.ge. a.ong those who experienced income loss, the ma.ority (22.2%) reported a.decrea.e of up to $76.92 per month, a.d 18.5% cited a.loss exceeding $230.77 per month. Nota.ly, pa.ients with Drug-Resista.t Tuberculosis (DRTB) ha.e not incurred the direct costs of the disea.e, a. these a.e covered by the government. Introduction: Socioeconomic a.d demogra.hic conditions in a.country ca. influence tuberculosis incidence a.d morta.ity, with nea.ly 95% of tuberculosis-rela.ed dea.hs occurring in poorer countries. Moza.bique is a.ong the 30 countries with the highest TB burden. Objective: The study a.med to estima.e the a.era.e direct medica. cost of trea.ing drug-resista.t tuberculosis in 19 hea.th centers in Ma.uto City, Moza.bique. Methods: a.retrospective a.a.ysis of direct medica. costs wa. conducted on pa.ients a.ed 18 a.d older who completed 20-month drug-resista.t tuberculosis trea.ment regimens in Ma.uto City in 2019. Results: This a.a.ysis covered 140 pa.ients who completed a.20-month trea.ment regimen, with 64.3% (78) being ma.e a.d 35.7% (62) fema.e. a.proxima.ely 50% of the pa.ticipa.ts were a.ed between 29 a.d 47. The a.era.e direct medica. cost of DRTB trea.ment wa. $4789.43, rea.hing up to $6568.00, with a.sta.da.d devia.ion of $753.26, including clinica. interventions a.d trea.ment.
