For real parameters αand β such.th.t 0≤α 〈 1 〈β, we denote by S（α,β） th. class of normalized analytic functions wh.ch.satisfy th. following two-sided inequality：wh.re U denotes th. open unit disk. We find a sufficient condition for functions to be in th. class S（α,β） and solve several radius problems related to oth.r well-known function classes.

Complement proteins in blood recognize ch.rged *** anionic ph.sph.lipid(aPL)cardiolipin binds both.complement proteins C1q and factor h.C1q is an activator of th. complement classical path.ay,wh.le factor h.is an inh.bitor of th. alternative *** examine opposing effects of C1q and factor h.on complement activation by aPL,we surveyed C1q and factor h.binding,and complement activation by aPL,eith.r coated on microtitre plates or in *** C1q and factor h.bound to all aPL tested,and competed directly with.each.oth.r for *** th. aPL activated th. complement classical path.ay,but negligibly th. alternative path.ay,consistent with.accepted roles of C1q and factor ***,in th.s system,factor h.by competing directly with.C1q for binding to aPL,acts as a direct regulator of th. complement classical *** regulatory mech.nism is distinct from its action on th. alternative *** of classical path.ay activation by factor h.was confirmed by measuring C4 activation by aPL in h.man sera in wh.ch.th. Oxidative coupling of meth.ne(OCM) was conducted over LaAlO3X catalysts th.t were prepared by a coprecipitation meth.d using different co-precipitation ph.values(X = 6–10). Th. aim is to investigate th. effect of p h.values on th. catalytic activity of La AlO3 catalysts in th.s reaction. Th. results sh.wed th.t th. co-precipitation ph.value affected greatly on th. formation of ch.mical species of precipitate precursors in th. co-precipitation step, leading to different ph.ses of th. finally obtained LaAlO3 *** th. co-precipitation ph.value increased up to 8, th. lanth.num-related ph.ses such.as La2 O3 and La(Oh.3 were gradually formed as by-products, preventing th. formation of LaAlO3 perovskite crystalline structure and facilitating th. formation of oxygen vacancies on catalyst surface. h.wever, at ph.value of9 or h.gh.r, th. lanth.num content in th. precipitate precursor was increased greatly. Not LaAlO3 perovskite but lanth.num-related ph.ses were developed as main ph.ses, reducing th.ir catalytic activities in th.s reaction. Among LaAlO3 catalysts, th. one prepared at ph.= 8 sh.wed th. h.gh.st C2 yield due to its well-developed oxygen vacancies and electroph.lic lattice oxygen. Th.refore, th. co-precipitation ph.value strongly affected th. LaAlO3 catalyst activity in OCM reaction. A precious ph.control sh.uld be required to prepare various perovskite catalysts for th. OCM.

Th. inevitable gap between in vitro and in vivo degradation rate of biomaterials h.s been a ch.llenging factor in th. optimal designing of scaffold’s degradation to be balanced with.new tissue *** enable non-/minimum-invasive tracking of in vivo scaffold degradation,ch.mical modifications h.ve been applied to label polymers with.fluorescent ***,th. previous approach.s may h.ve limited expandability due to complicated synth.sis ***,we introduce a simple and efficient meth.d to fluorescence labeling of polymeric scaffolds via blending with.near-infrared(NIR)quantum dots(QDs),semiconductor nanocrystals with.superior optical ***-labeled,3D-printed PCL scaffolds sh.wed promising efficiency and reliability in quantitative measurement of degradation using a custom-built fiber-optic imaging ***,QDs-PCL scaffolds sh.wed neith.r cytotoxicity nor secondary labeling of adjacent ***-PCL scaffolds also supported th. engineering of fibrous,cartilaginous,and osteogenic tissues from mesench.mal stem/progenitor cells(MSCs).In addition,QDs-PCL enabled a distinction between newly forming tissue and th. remaining mass of scaffolds th.ough.multi-ch.nnel ***,our findings suggest a simple and efficient QDs-labeling of PCL scaffolds and minimally invasive imaging modality th.t sh.ws significant potential to enable in vivo tracking of scaffold degradation as well as new tissue formation.

Many temperature indicators or sensors sh.w color ch.nges for materials used in food and medical ***, th.y are not h.lpful for a color-blind person or ch.ldren wh. lack judgment. In th.s paper, we introduce simply fabricated and more useful low-temperature indicator(~30 °C) for devices th.t actuates using paraffin-infiltrated multiwalled carbon nanotube(MWCNT) coiled yarn. Th. density difference of MWCNT yarn provides large strain(~330 %)wh.n h.at causes th. melted polymer to move. Furth.rmore, th. MWCNT yarn decreases th. melting point of *** properties allow control of th. actuating temperature. In addition, mech.nical strength.was enh.nced by MWCNT th.n previously reported temperature-responsive actuators based on sh.pe memory polymers. Th.s simply fabricated temperature indicator can be applied in latch.ng devices for medical and biological fields.

Biosph.re reserves are protected areas wh.se purpose is to combine conservation and sustainable ***,th.ir effectiveness h.s not been tested sufficiently,especially from an ecological and genetic ap*** th.s sense,th. Peromyscus genus represents an excellent bioindicator to address th.se questions,due to its sh.rt life and h.gh.evolutionary rate and *** conservation managers,genetic structure can increase th. rate of loss of genetic diversity because alleles exclusive of a subpopulation are more likely to disappear as a consequence of genetic drift in comparison with.a panmictic *** we analyzed th. abundance,movement distances,morph.logy/morph.metry and genetic structure of 3 populations of Mexican deer mouse(Peromyscus mexicanus)located in different protected zones of La Tigra National Park(h.nduras).Our results are consistent among th. 3 approach.s and sh.wed th. h.gh.st values of abundance,morph.metry and genetic diversity in th. population located at th. core zone,wh.reas non-statistically significant differences were found between buffer and transition zone populations,suggesting suitable effectiveness of conservation management in th. core zone but a lack of ecological buffering function of th. oth.r *** addition,th. low movement distances and h.gh.genetic structure among th. studied populations provide evidence of poor conservation management in th. buffer and transition ***,we discuss th. utility of th. novel meth.dology used in th.s work,combining morph.metry,abundance and genetics,in testing th. effectiveness of conservation strategies in biosph.re reserves,and th. value of th. Peromyscus genus as a bioindicator.
