Vertical marginal gap &retention of ceramic full coverage &inlay retained ceramic fixed partial dentures

Objectives: A comparison study between ceramic full coverage FPDs & 3 designs of ceramic inlay retained FPDs regarding vertical marginal gap & retention. Materials & Methods: Twenty samples were construc- ted and divided into 4 groups according to the type of restorations: full coverage, inlay-shaped (occluso-pro- ximal inlay + proximal box), tub-shaped (occluso-pro- ximal inlay), and proximal box-shaped FPDs. All samples were subjected to a vertical marginal gap measurements followed by a retention test. Results: The vertical marginal gap data showed no significant difference between full coverage FPDs, the tub-shap- ed inlay retained FPDs and the proximal box-shaped inlay retained FPDs. While there was a difference between these three designs and the inlay retained FPDs. Regarding retention, the full coverage FPDs recorded higher retentive strengths and was signifi-cant difference than all inlay retained FPDs designs tested. The inlay-shaped design was significant dif-ference than the other two inlay retained FPDs de-signs. Conclusions: There was no significant differ- ence between full coverage FPDs, tub-shaped & pro- ximal box shaped inlay retained FPDs as regard ver- tical marginal discrepancies. While, the inlay-haped design showed the highest vertical marginal discrep- ancies. The premolar & molar retainers for the same type of restorations showed no difference in vertical marginal discrepancies. All measured vertical mar- ginal discrepancies were in the range of clinical ac- ceptance. The full coverage FPDs recorded higher retentive strengths than all inlay retained FPDs de- signs tested. The inlay-shaped design recorded the highest retentive strengths among the three inlay re- tained FPDs designs. There was no difference as re- gard retentive strengths between tub-shaped & pro- ximal box shaped inlay retained FPDs.

The first part of this paper is devoted to study the existence of solution for nonlinear p（x） elliptic problem A（u） =u in Ω, u = 0 on Ω, with a right-hand side measure, where Ω is a bounded open set of RN, N ≥ 2 and A （u） = -div（a （x, u, u）） is a Leray-Lions operator defined from W 0 1,p（x）（Ω） in to its dual W-1,p＇（x）（Ω）. However the second part concerns the existence solution, of the following setting nonlinear elliptic problems A（u）＋g（x,u, u） = u in Ω, u = 0 on Ω. We will give some regularity results for these solutions.

The chemical preparation, crystal structure and infrared spectroscopic characterization of the triaqua（4-amino-6-methoxypyrimidine） cuprate（II） sulfate, [Cu（C5H7N3）（H2O）3]SO4, is reported. The compound crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric orthorhombic space group P212121 with lattice parameters a = 7.9025（3）, b = 11.1189（4）, c = 12.9720（4） , V = 1139.81（7） ~3 and Z = 4. The Cu（II） cation is fivecoordinated, in an early half-way between square pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal fashion, by two nitrogen atoms of the 4-amino-6-methoxypyrimidine ligand and three water oxygen atoms. In the atomic arrangement, the organic ligands and the 5-connected Cu centers are linked with each other to give a 1-D corrugated hybrid chain running along the b-axis direction. The chains are interconnected by the SO4^（2-） anions via O–H...O, O–H...S, C–H...O and N–H...O hydrogen bonds to form layers spreading parallel to the（011） plane. The vibrational absorption bands were identified by infrared spectroscopy. Quantitative measurements of the second harmonic generation（SHG） of a powdered sample at 1064 nm were performed and a relative efficiency of 5.2 times the KDP standard was observed. Magnetic properties were also defined to characterize the complex. Magnetic measurements revealed that this material had a onedimensional antiferromagnetic character. The magnetic parameters were g = 2.11 and 2J/k B = -36 K.

Threshold Effects in the Capital Account Liberalization and Foreign Direct Investment Relationship

This paper examines how capital account liberalization （CAL） affects foreign direct investment （FDI） inflows. Authors use a dynamic panel model encompassing 14 Middle East countries over the period from 1985 to 2009. The findings suggest that countries that are able to reap the benefits of the capital openness policy satisfy certain threshold conditions regarding the level of financial development and institutional quality. Thus to promote FDI, governments in this region should develop a set of policies that not only focus on financial openness, but also on the improvement of the financial system and legal institutions.

Coupling nano-emitters to plasmonic antennas is a key milestone for the development of nanoscale quantum light *** challenge,however,is the precise nanoscale positioning of the emitter in the ***,we present a laser etching protocol that deterministically positions a single colloidal CdSe/CdS core/shell quantum dot emitter inside a subwavelength plasmonic patch antenna with three-dimensional nanoscale *** exploiting the properties of metal–insulator–metal structures at the nanoscale,the fabricated single-emitter antenna exhibits a very high-Purcell factor(>72)and a brightness enhancement of a factor of *** to the unprecedented quenching of Auger processes and the strong acceleration of the multiexciton emission,more than 4 photons per pulse can be emitted by a single quantum dot,thus increasing the device *** technology can be applied to a wide range of photonic nanostructures and emitters,paving the way for scalable and reliable fabrication of ultracompact light sources.

In nature there is no phenomenon that is purely periodic,and this gives the idea to consider the measure pseudo almost periodic *** this paper,by employing a suitable fixed point theorem,the proper ties of the measure pseudo almost periodic functions and differential inequality,we investigate the existence and uniqueness of the measure pseudo almost periodic solutions for some models of Lasota-Wazewska equation with measure pseudo almost periodic coefficients and mixed *** suppose that the linear part has almost periodic and the nonlinear part is assumed to be measure pseudo almost ***,the global attractivity and the exponential stability of the measure pseudo almost periodic solutions are also considered for the *** application,an illustrative numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

Contribution of Chamaerops humilis L. (Arecaceae) in Conservation in Situ of Soil Resources in the Tlemcen Region (Western Algeria)

In recent years, the anthropic action on scrubs in the region of Tlemcen (a province in western Algeria) has represented a threat to the groups of Chamaerops humilis L. (Arecaceae). The main purpose of the present investigation is to highlight the relationship between Chamaerops humilis and its biotope. Taking advantage of the refurbishment works in the study area, clumps of Chamaerops humilis, freshly dug by machinery, were collected and used to conduct some measurements. A total of 34 clusters were considered. The main parameters to be studied are: 1. The height of the tangle of roots and the number of roots in each cluster;2. The weight of soil trapped between roots;3. Physico-chemical properties of soil in which taxa grow. The results obtained showed that the average weight of soil retained by the clumps was important (70.3 kg);the average height of the tangle was 68.4 cm and the average number of roots was 382. The tangle of roots, of various stocks of Chamaerops humilis, creates a root network, very tangled in its upper part, thereby trapping a significant amount of soil. The statistical analyses of pairs of parameters, considered in the present work (height of the tangle, mass of soil trapped by roots and number of roots), were found to be highly correlated. These analyses allowed identifying the relationships existing between the studied parameters. They also helped to deduce the role of the taxon in the in situ conservation of edaphic potential.

Architectural Requirements for Improving Social Interactions in Subway Stations： An Evidence Based Design Approach

Environmental design is concerned with the function of people within an environment and their interactions. Subway stations spaces are important examples of public spaces that are in close connection with the social life of people. Also, the fact that the social interactions and relations between people and city environments are becoming indispensable for subway station space indicates that these spaces play an essential role in urban life. This paper addresses the result of a study conducted by the authors on the influential elements pivotal to the improvement of social interactions in subway stations. The theory of John Lang in Urban design with consideration of social interaction was considered in this study. The objective of the study was to identify the architectural requirements in improving social interaction between people and environment in subway station spaces according to an evidence based design approach. To do so, relevant literature in different disciplines, architecture, urban design, social sustainability and so on, were reviewed Next, the most important environmental factors which contribute to human behavior in public spaces were derived and analyzed. Data of the study were collected via questionnaires filled out by the users of Tehran＇s subway stations. The collected data were analyzed and the architectural elements/requirements for improving social interactions were classified. The results of the study indicate that in the case of architectural requirements, contribution to the improvement of social interactions, design considerations for physical and mental safety, accessibility and lighting are the most important factors.

Service for consistency management of replicas in data grid

Today, grid technology has evolved to the point where it is no longer a theory but a proven practice. It represents a viable direction for corporations to explore grid computing as an answer to their business needs within tight financial constraints. In general, grids enable the efficient sharing and management of computing resources for the purpose of performing large complex tasks. Data grid provides the data management features to enable data access, synchronization, and distribution of a grid. The main aim here is to ensure a efficient access and quality data, to improve the availability, and be able to continue delivering acceptable services. In such systems, these advantages are not yielded by means others than replication mechanisms. The effective use the replication technique involves several problems, in relation with the problem of the coherence maintenance of replicas. Our contribution consists new service for the consistency management in the data grid. This service combines between pessimistic and optimistic approaches, taking into account benefits of both approaches, to find a compromise between performance and quality. In addition, our service has been extended by a mechanism placement of replicas based on economics model.
