In order to investigate the nanostructures and corrosion behaviors of Ti-Zr alloys,nanotube formed Ti-Zr(10%,20%,30% and 40% in mass fraction) alloys were prepared by arc melting and the condition of controlling nanostructure was at 1 000 ℃ for 24 h in argon atmosphere;formation of nanotubes was conducted by anodizing a Ti-Zr alloy in H3PO4 electrolyte with a small amount of fluoride ions at room *** corrosion properties of specimens were examined through potentiodynamic test(potential range of -1 500-2 000 mV) in 0.9% NaCl solution by using *** of the alloys were observed by optical microscope(OM),field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM) and X-ray diffractometer(XRD).Diameter of nanotube does not depend on Zr content,but interspace of nanotube predominantly depends on Zr content,which confirms that ZrO2 oxides play a role to increase the interspace of nanotube formed on the surface.

The cast structures influencing the electrochemical corrosion behavior of Co-Cr and Ni-Cr dental alloys were studied using potentiodynamic polarization and AC impedance in 0.9% (mass fraction) NaCl solution at (37±1) ℃. The phase and microstructure of the alloys that were fabricated using two different casting methods viz. centrifugal casting and high frequency induction casting, were examined using X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy. The roles of alloying elements and the passive film homogeneity on the corrosion resistance of Co-Cr-Mo and Ni-Cr-Mo dental cast alloys were reviewed. The results of electrochemical study show that the dependence of corrosion resistance on the microstructure associated with the casting methods is marginal. The Co-Cr alloy exhibits more desirable corrosion resistance properties than the Ni-Cr alloy. There is severe preferential dissolution of Ni-rich, Cr and Mo depleted zones in the Ni-Cr alloy.

Awide range of camera apps and online video conferencing services support the feature of changing the background in real-time for aesthetic,privacy,and security *** studies show that theDeep-Learning(DL)is a suitable option for human segmentation,and the ensemble of multiple DL-based segmentation models can improve the segmentation ***,these approaches are not as effective when directly applied to the image segmentation in a *** paper proposes an Adaptive N-Frames Ensemble(AFE)approach for high-movement human segmentation in a video using an ensemble of multiple DL *** contrast to an ensemble,which executes multiple DL models simultaneously for every single video frame,the proposed AFE approach executes only a single DL model upon a current video *** combines the segmentation outputs of previous frames for the final segmentation output when the frame difference is less than a particular *** method employs the idea of the N-Frames Ensemble(NFE)method,which uses the ensemble of the image segmentation of a current video frame and previous video ***,NFE is not suitable for the segmentation of fast-moving objects in a video nor a video with low frame *** proposed AFE approach addresses the limitations of the NFE *** experiment uses three human segmentation models,namely Fully Convolutional Network(FCN),DeepLabv3,and *** evaluated our approach using 1711 videos of the TikTok50f dataset with a single-person *** TikTok50f dataset is a reconstructed version of the publicly available TikTok dataset by cropping,resizing and dividing it into videos having 50 frames *** paper compares the proposed AFE with single models and the Two-Models Ensemble,as well as the NFE *** experiment results show that the proposed AFE is suitable for low-movement as well as high-movement human segmentation in a video.

BACKGROUND The human microRNA 375(MIR375)is significantly downregulated in human colorectal cancer(CRC)and we have previously shown that MIR375 is a CRCassociated *** metadherin(MTDH)is a candidate target gene of *** To investigate the interaction and function between MIR375 and MTDH in human *** A luciferase reporter system was used to confirm the effect of MIR375 on MTDH *** expression levels of MIR375 and the target genes were evaluated by quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR),western blotting,or *** MTDH expression was found to be upregulated in human CRC tissues compared to that in healthy *** show that MIR375 regulates the expression of many genes involved in the MTDH-mediated signal transduction pathways[BRAF-MAPK and phosphatidylinositol-4,5-biphosphate-3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha(PIK3CA)-AKT]in CRC *** MTDH expression levels were found to inhibit NF-κB inhibitor alpha,which further upregulated NFKB1 and RELA expression in CRC *** Our findings suggest that suppressing MIR375 expression in CRC regulates cell proliferation and angiogenesis by increasing MTDH ***,MIR375 may be of therapeutic value in treating human CRC.
