Determination of Mangiferin and Homomangiferin in the Leaves of 93 Kinds of Mango

[Objectives]To determine the content of mangiferin and homomangiferin in mango leaves by HPLC.[Methods]The mangiferin and homomangiferin were separated and determined by Elite Hypersil C18(5μm,4.6 mm ID×250 mm)chromatographic ***-0.1%(V/V)phosphoric acid solution was used as the mobile phase for gradient elution,the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,the detection wavelength was 258 nm,the column temperature was 30℃,and the injection volume was 5μL.[Results]There was a good linear relationship between mangiferin and homomangiferin in the range of 0.0254-0.5080μg/μL(r=0.9999)and 0.000960-0.019200μg/μL(r=0.9999),*** average recovery rate(n=6)of mangiferin and homomangiferin in mango leaves was 101.7%(RSD=2.0%)and 101.0%(RSD=1.7%),respectively.[Conclusions]There were great differences in the content of mangiferin and homomangiferin in the leaves of different varieties of *** experimental results could provide a scientific basis for further development and utilization of mango leaf resources.

[Objectives]This paper aimed to study the quality standard of pummelo pericarp from Guangxi.[Methods]The medicinal material was identified by microscopy and thin-layer chromatography,and the contents of moisture,total ash,acid-insoluble ash and extract in the medicinal material were determined according to the methods of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2010 edition).[Results]The content limits for moisture,total ash,acid-insoluble ash and extract were determined(moisture≤12%;total ash≤6.0%;acid-insoluble ash≤0.6%;water-soluble extract≥43.0%;naringin≥10.00 mg/g).The micro-characteristics of pummelo pericarp were identified,and a thin-layer chromatography identification and content determination method was established.[Conclusions]The established method can provide an experimental basis for the formulation of quality standard for pummelo pericarp.

[Objectives]To analyze the composition of volatile oils from mango leaves from different producing areas.[Methods]The volatile oils in mango leaves from different areas was extracted by steam distillation,and the GC-MS method combined with retention index and peak area normalization method was used for qualitative and quantitative analysis.[Results]The volatile oils of mango leaves in southern provinces contained high content of terpenes,such asα-gurjunene(18.39%-34.13%),(+)-viridiflorene(8.95%-16.30%)and(E)-β-ocimene(3.49%-7.63%).The volatile oils components of mango leaves were significantly different in different provinces,for example,mango leaves produced in Hainan Province contained a large amount ofβ-selinene(23.00%),but not in other provinces.[Conclusions]The origin had a great influence on the composition and contents of volatile oils in mango leaves.

[Objectives]To establish a method for determining the naringin content in the peel of Guangxi Citrus maxima(Burm.)Merr.[Methods]The high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method was *** chromatographic column was Agilent HC-C18(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm);the mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.1%phosphoric acid(18∶82);the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min;the column temperature was 25℃;the detection wavelength was 283 nm.[Results]Naringin showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.164-3.27μg,r=*** average recovery rate was 98.66%,and RSD=1.80%(n=6).[Conclusions]This method is simple,feasible,reproducible,and accurate,so it can be used for the determination of naringin content in the peel of Guangxi ***.

[Objectives]To explore the effects of ethyl acetate extract of Phyllanthus reticulatus leaves on autophagy-related proteins Beclin-1,ATG5 and LC3 by immunohistochemistry,and to preliminarily explore their effects on autophagy.[Methods]BEL-7404 Hepatocellular Carcinoma(HCC)nude mice model was established,and blank group(same volume of pure water),positive control group(20 mg/kg fluorouracil),high dose drug group(600 mg/kg),and medium dose drug group(300 mg/kg),and low dose drug group(150 mg/kg)were set *** 2 weeks of intragastric administration,the nude mice were sacrificed,and the tumor tissues were taken out,processed by immunohistochemistry,and then made into paraffin *** were taken under an optical microscope(10×40),and evaluation and analysis were performed with the aid of the Image-Pro Plus 6.0 image analysis *** were calculated using SPSS 20.0 *** effects of drugs on autophagy-related proteins LC3,Beclin-1 and ATG5 were observed.[Results]Compared with the blank group,the medium and high dose groups of ethyl acetate extract of *** leaves had the effect of promoting the increase of autophagy-related proteins LC3,Beclin-1 and ATG5(P0.05).[Conclusions]The ethyl acetate extract of *** leaves has a promoting effect on autophagy-related proteins LC3,Beclin-1,and ATG5.

[Objectives] This study was conducted to establish the infrared fingerprint of Cryptolepis buchananii Roem. et Schult. [Methods] Ten batches of C. buchananii from different habitats were determined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The experimental data were clustered by Omic software and Ward method. [Results] The infrared fingerprints of C. buchananii were obtained, and the similarity was all greater than 0.9. [Conclusions] The established method has good stability and controllability and can be used for the identification of C. buchananii.
