A high-ductility Mg-8.10Al-0.42Zn-0.51Mn-1.52La-1.10Gd-0.86 Y(wt%)alloy was developed by hot extrusion and multi-rolling *** between microstructure,mechanical properties and texture evolution of the extruded and rolled alloy were *** rolling process had significant effect on grain refinement of the extruded *** grain size reduced from 12.3 to 4.9μm with the increasing rolling *** the increase in rolling pass,the proportion of dynamic recrystallized(DRXed)grains increases due to particle-stimulated nucleation,grain boundary nucleation and twin induced *** the process of multiple rolling,the basal pole gradually tilted from normal direction to transverse direction due to the asymmetric deformation and irregular grain deformation,resulting in the weakening of the base *** results showed that grain refinement and texture weakening were the main reasons for the good ductility of the alloy.

The roles of Al11Sm3and Al2Sm phases on microstructure evolution, mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of the Mg-5Sm-x Al system was investigated. The results showed that adding Al to Mg–5Sm binary alloy brought two Al–Sm phases, Al11Sm3and Al2Sm, which had two distinct roles regarding the microstructure evolution, mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of the Mg-Sm-Al alloy. Al11Sm3produced a strong galvanic couple with the Mg matrix, and significantly accelerated the corrosion. The Al2Sm particles promoted heterogeneous nucleation and refined the grains, which increased the tensile strength and ductility. Both types of Al–Sm particles provided strengthening effect for the alloy. With higher Al contents, Al2Sm formed an Al oxide protective surface layer and increased corrosion resistance.

In this work,a series of multi-microalloying Mg alloys with a high degradation rate and high strength was prepared by adding AlCoCrFeNi HEA particles to the Mg melt followed by hot *** microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the alloys were studied,meanwhile,the corrosion properties were evaluated by immersion weight loss and electrochemical *** indicated that HEA particles in the Mg melt were decomposed and formed the Ni-rich phase,which was distributed uniformly in the Mg *** with the pure Mg matrix,the Mg-3 HEA alloy exhibited excellent mechanical properties of the ultimate tensile strength~237 MPa and tensile yield strength~181 MPa,an increased rate of~49.1 and~96.7%,respectively,without sacrificing the *** the ultimate compressive strength(UCS)and compressive yield strength increased by~31.5 and~43%to 392±3 and 103±2 MPa,*** on theoretical analysis,the high YS of the alloys was mainly attributed to fine-grain strengthening and second phase ***,based on the study of corrosion behavior,it was found that with the increase in HEA particle content,the degradation rate of the composites increased because of the promotion of micro-galvanic corrosion,and the Mg-3 HEA alloy showed a maximum degradation rate of~25.2 mg cmh.

Reducing the yield asymmetry is very important concern for wrought Mg-Li *** this study,Mg-5Li-3Al-2 Zn(LAZ532)alloy was successfully produced by hot-extrusion followed by multi-pass rolling at 573 *** evolution,mechanical properties and yield asymmetry reducing of LAZ532 alloys at different rolling passes were *** observing microstructure using transmission electron microscopy showed that a small amount of ultra-fine Al Mg_(4)Zn_(11)and nano Li_(3)Al_(2) phases existed in the *** the increasing of rolling passes,the grains of the alloys were obviously refined,and comprehensive mechanical properties were dramatically ***,it also showed an excellent tension and compression yield symmetry(TYS/CYS was about 1).The results showed that the combined action of the weak{0001}basal lamellar texture,grain refinement and addition of Li element could effectively improve the yield ***,based on theoretical analysis,the yield strength in the alloys mainly depended on the strengthening contributions of LAGBs and HAGBs,and strengthening effect of HAGBs most(~50%)to the yield strength improvement.

Avoiding the Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC)effect is very important concern for wrought Mg-Li *** this study,the special PLC effect was found in rolled Mg-5Li-3Al-2Zn(LAZ532)alloy during tensile and compressive *** observing microstructure evolution of the alloy during tensile and compressive deformation,it was found that prismaticand pyramidalslips were activated during tensile deformation,resulting in plenty of dislocation *** the deformation process after compressive yielding,the deformations in coarse grains and fine grains were dominated by{1012}extension twinning and grain boundary slip,*** on experimental result analysis,the sudden appearance of PLC effect in the later stage of axial tensile deformation(along rolled direction)was caused by interaction between solute atoms and *** the process of axial compressive deformation(along rolled direction),PLC effect presented the complex and changeable phenomenon of appeared-disappeared-appeared,which was mainly caused by the continuous nucleation of twin in the material,the activation of grain boundary slip and the shear deformation of twin,respectively.

采用热镀锌技术在Q235碳钢上制备彩色Zn-Mn层。研究了镀液中Mn的质量分数对Zn-Mn镀层外观、微观结构和耐蚀性的影响。结果表明,Mn的添加能够抑制粗大的块状ζ-FeZn13相生长,促进致密δ-FeZn10相的生长,令镀层组织更均匀、致密,耐蚀性提高。在Mn的质量分数为0.3%的镀液中得到的Zn-Mn镀层的耐蚀性最佳。

Soft pneumatic actuators are one of the most promising actuation for soft robots,and great achievements have been *** it remains challenging to endow sensing capabilities to pneumatic actuators,especially for the sensing ability originating directly from the actuator ***,a self-sensing pneumatic torsional actuator(SPTA)is designed based on the electromagnetic induction effect and magnetically responsive *** SPTA can generate feedback voltage and current with the deformation,in which the sensing function comes from its inherent *** investigate the mechanical and electrical characteristics,an experimental platform and a finite element model are established,*** find that the torsion angle and output torque increase in nonlinear with the actuating *** maximum torsion angle is 66.35°,which is 84.34%of that for the actuator fabricated by pure *** maximum output torque(24.9 N mm)improves by 23.19%compared with the actuator made by pure *** regards the electrical characteristics,the maximum feedback voltage and current are 2.90μV and 29.50 nA when the SPTA is actuated by a pressure of−40 *** also demonstrate that the relationship between the torsion angle and the magnetic flux change is approximately ***,the number of turns of wires,magnetic powders contents,and magnetic direction on the feedback voltage and current are *** show that the feedback voltage and current can be enhanced by increasing the number of turns and magnetic powders *** envision that the SPTA would be promising for soft robots to realize their accuracy control and intelligentization.
