The density and viscosity ratios on partially liquid-filled sloshing with baffle have been investigated numerically in this *** the key to success in the present simulation,the Coupled Level Set and the Volume of Fluid(CLSVOF)method and the Immersed Boundary(IB)method are used to capture gas/liquid and fluid/structure interfaces,*** the CLSVOF method,surface normal in weighting factors is calculated by the level set function,resulting in a more accurate ***,the Tangent of Hyperbola for INterface Capturing(THINC)coupled with the Weighted Linear Interface Calculation(WLIC)scheme is used for capturing moving *** a standard practice,we first validate the code by comparing it with experimental results of liquid sloshing,which involves large deformation of *** addition to the validation study of the present method,the problems of liquid sloshing with baffle are investigated to understand kinematics and dynamics behaviors under different density and viscosity ratios.

One of the fundamental challenges in cosmic ray physics is to explain the nature of cosmic ray acceleration and propagation *** to the precise cosmic ray data measured by recent space experiments,we can investigate cosmic ray acceleration and propagation models more comprehensively and *** this paper,we combine the secondary-to-primary ratios and primary spectra measured by PAMELA,AMS02,ACE-CRIS,and Voyager-1 to constrain the cosmic ray source and transport *** study shows that the Z>2 data yield a medium-energy diffusion slope δ_(2)~(0.42,0.48)and a high-energy slope δ_(3)~(0.22,0.34).The Z≤2 species place a looser constraint on δ_(2)~(0.38,0.47)but a tighter constraint onδ3~(0.21,0.30).The overlaps imply that heavy and light particles can provide compatible results at medium to high ***,both the light and heavy nuclei indicate a consistent diffusion slope variation ΔδH at 200~300 *** low energies,significant disagreements exist between heavy and light *** boron-to-carbon ratio requires a much larger diffusion slope shift ΔδL at approximately 4 GV or a stronger Alfvén velocity vA than the low-mass *** indicates that the heavy and light particles may suffer different low-energy transport behaviors in the ***,a better understanding of the consistency/inconsistency between the heavy and light cosmic rays relies on more precise cross-sections,better constraints on correlations in systematic errors of data,a more accurate estimation of the galaxy halo size,and a more robust description of solar modulation during the reversal period of the heliospheric magnetic field.

Integrating multi-scale sites in a composite catalyst is vital to realize efficient ***,a synergistic composite catalyst consisting of Co atomic sites and in-situ generated PtCo intermetallic compounds （IMCs）(o-PtCo@CoNC) is proposed through Co pre-anchoring and subsequent impregnation-reduction *** loading of Co atoms provides a chance for in-situ generating PtCo ordered intermetallic *** remaining Co single atoms and PtCo IMCs construct synergistic electrocatalytic *** from the ordered structure,synergistic effect of Pt Co IMCs and Co single atoms,o-PtCo@CoNC exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） with mass activity of 1.21 A mgPt-1（at 0.9 V） and5.70 A mgPt-1（at an overpotential of 100 mV）,***,o-PtCo@CoNC delivers negligible loss of half-wave potential and overpotential during long-term stability test in acid solutions,with 13 mV decay after 50,000 potential cycles for ORR and a 2.7 mV decay after 20,000 potential cycles for *** integration strategy of single-atomic sites coupled IMCs paves the way for enhancing the activity and durability of Pt-based electrocatalysts.

BACKGROUND Primary squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)of the renal parenchyma is extremely rare,with only nine cases *** SUMMARY This study reports a 51-year-old man with primary SCC of the renal *** patient was admitted with recurrent dull pain and discomfort in the right lumbar region,which had worsened over 2 weeks,accompanied by painful gross *** antigen(SCCA)levels were elevated,and imaging revealed a renal mass with associated *** patient underwent laparoscopic unilateral nephrectomy and lymph node *** pathology confirmed highly differentiated SCC with necrosis in the right renal parenchyma,with negative renal pelvis and *** pathological stage was *** months after surgery,the tumor recurred with involvement of the liver,right psoas major muscle,and inferior vena *** patient refused chemotherapy and succumbed to the disease 6 months postoperatively due to disease *** We report a case of primary SCC of the renal parenchyma,a rare renal *** clinical symptoms,laboratory tests,and imaging findings are nonspecific,making accurate and timely diagnosis *** to the literature,for patients with renal calculi accompanied by a renal mass,elevated serum SCCA levels,and magnetic resonance imaging showing cystic or cystic-solid masses within the kidney with pseudocapsules and heterogeneous mild enhancement,the possibility of this disease should be considered.

Demyelination and remyelination have been major focal points in the study of peripheral nerve regeneration following peripheral nerve ***,the gene regulatory network of regenerated myelin differs from that of native *** of enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2)hinders the differentiation,maturation,and myelination of Schwann cells in *** further determine the role of EZH2 in myelination and recovery post-peripheral nerve injury,conditional knockout mice lacking Ezh2 in Schwann cells(Ezh2^(fl/fl);Dhh-Cre and Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre)were *** results show that a significant proportion of axons in the sciatic nerve of Ezh2-depleted mice remain *** highlights the crucial role of Ezh2 in initiating Schwann cell ***,we observed that 21 days after inducing a sciatic nerve crush injury in these mice,most axons had remyelinated at the injury site in the control nerve,while Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre mice had significantly fewer remyelinated axons compared with their wild-type *** suggests that the absence of Ezh2 in Schwann cells impairs myelin formation and *** conclusion,EZH2 has emerged as a pivotal regulatory factor in the process of demyelination and myelin regeneration following peripheral nerve *** EZH2 activity during these processes may offer a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of peripheral nerve injuries.

In Minkowski space M,we derive the effective Schrodinger equation describing a spin-less particle confined to a rotating curved surface *** the thin-layer quantization formalism to constrain the particle on we obtain the relativity-corrected geometric potential V_(g)’,and a novel effective potential V(g) related to both the Gaussian curvature and the geodesic curvature of the rotating *** Coriolis effect and the centrifugal potential also appear in the ***,we apply the surface Schrodinger equation to a rotating cylinder,sphere and toms surfaces,in which we find that the interplays between the rotation and surface geometry can contribute to the energy spectrum based on the potentials they offer.

Forest ecosystems play key roles in mitigating human-induced climate change through enhanced carbon uptake;however,frequently occurring climate extremes and human activities have considerably threatened the stability of *** the same time,detailed accounts of disturbances and forest responses are not yet well quantified in *** study employed the Breaks For Additive Seasonal and Trend method-an abrupt-change detection method-to analyze the Enhanced Vegetation Index time series in East Asia,South Asia,and Southeast *** approach allowed us to detect forest disturbance and quantify the resilience after *** showed that 20%of forests experienced disturbance with an increasing trend from 2000 to 2022,and Southeast Asian countries were more severely affected by ***,95%of forests had robust resilience and could recover from disturbance within a few *** resilience of forests suffering from greater magnitude of disturbance tended to be stronger than forests with lower disturbance *** summary,this study investigated the resilience of forests across the low and middle latitudes of Asia over the past two *** authors found that most forests exhibited good resilience after disturbance and about two-thirds had recovered to a better state in *** findings of this study underscore the complex relationship between disturbance and resilience,contributing to comprehension of forest resilience through satellite remote sensing.

The occurrence of extreme rainfall events and associated flooding has been enhanced due to climate changes, and is thought to influence the flux of total dissolved iron（TDI） in rivers considerably. Since TDI is a controlling factor in primary productivity in marine ecosystems, alteration of riverine TDI input to the ocean may lead to climate change via its effect on biological productivity. During an extreme rainfall event that arose in northeastern China in 2013, water samples were collected in the midstream of the Heilongjiang River to analyze the concentration and species of TDI as well as other basic parameters. The speciation of TDI was surveyed by filtration and ultrafiltration *** with data monitored from 2007 to 2012, the concentration of TDI increased significantly during this event, with an average concentration of 1.11 mg/L, and the estimated TDI flux reached 1.2 × 10^5 tons, equaling the average annual TDI flux *** analysis revealed that low-molecular-weight complexed iron was the dominant species, and the impulse of TDI flux could probably be attributed to the hydrological connection to riparian wetlands and iron-rich terrestrial runoff. Moreover, dissolved organic matter played a key role in the flux, species and bioavailability of TDI. In addition,there is a possibility that the rising TDI flux could further influence the transport and cycling of nutrients and related ecological processes in the river, estuary coupled with the coastal ecosystems, which merits closer attention in the future.
