SiO2/TiO2 double-layer films with antireflective and self-cleaning properties were prepared by dip-coating glass substrate into cost-effective SiO2 and TiO2 sol successively and subsequently being calcined at 500 °C. The optical and structural properties of films have been investigated by UV-visible spectrophotometer and field emission scanning electron microscope, respectively. At the same time, self-cleaning property generated from superhydrophilicity and photocatalysis was obtained. The results indicated that the as-prepared SiO2/TiO2 double-layer films show maximum transmittance of 95% and self-cleaning property.

The effects of forming temperature on the formability and product properties of hot-stamping boron steel B1500HS were investigated. Based on the fractional cooling strategy, boron steel sheets were heated to achieve full austenitization before they were removed from the furnace and cooled to the forming temperature using different cooling methods. Subsequently,they were simultaneously press-formed and quenched inside the tool until the martensitic transformation was finished. A series of thermal tensile tests were conducted to study the effects of forming temperatures on the stamping performance indices, including elongation, yield ratio, and hardening exponent. Then, the mechanical properties and microstructures of the hot-stamped products were characterized. Finally, an irregular part was formed using different fractional cooling strategies, while its formability and springback phenomena were discussed. The results show that using a fast-cooling method to reach 650 °C as the forming temperature optimizes the formability of the tested B1500HS boron steel. The best mechanical properties and smallest springback values were achieved using this optimal strategy.

A transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) steel was applied to test its mechanical properties in quenching and partitioning (Q&P) process. A series of Q&P experiments followed by tensile tests, Charpy impact tests, fracture morphology analyses and microstructure observations were conducted. The experimental results showed that the Q&P treatment could increase the mechanical properties of TRIP steel evidently. The strength of tested TRIP780 after Q&P process reaches more than 1500 MPa with elongation of 17.8%, which is obviously greater than that of 22MnB5 after hot stamping. The microstructure observations indicate that the good combination of high strength and plasticity of TRIP steel after Q&P process is attributed to the multi-phase microstructure of hard martensite matrix and soft retained austenite.

A high performance white light emitter diode （LED） driver based on boost converter with novel single-wire serial-pulse digital dimming （SWSP） is proposed. The driver uses external serial programmed pulses and internal clock to simplify brightness control By embedding a 5-bit digital analog converter （DAC） into the driver, wide dimming range is achieved. Moreover, a new dynamic slope compensation circuit is presented and other key circuits of the driver are optimized to get higher efficiency and fast transition response. A practical circuit is implemented with 0.6 um bipolar complementary-metal-oxide-semiconductor double-diffused-metal-oxide-semiconductor （BCD） technology. The simulation results show that the driver can provide both wide output current from 1.3 mA to 42 mA with 32-level digital dimming and higher efficiency up to 83% while it works at 1 MHz switching frequency with the input voltage variation from 2.7 V to 5.5 V.

Improved Pattern Clustering Algorithm for Recognizing Transversal Distribution of Steel Strip Thickness

Transversal distribution of the steel strip thickness in the entry section of the cold rolling mill seriously affects to the flatness and transversal thickness precision of the final products. Pattern clustering method is introduced into the steel rolling field and used in the patterns recognition of transversal distribution of the steel strip thickness. The well-known k-means clustering algorithm has the advantage of being easily completed, but still has some drawbacks. An improved k-means clustering algorithm is presented, and the main improvements include：（1） the initial clustering points are preselected according to the density queue of data objects; and （2） Mahalanobis distance is applied instead of Euclidean distance in the actual application. Compared to the patterns obtained from the common kmeans algorithm, the patterns identified by the improved algorithm show that the improved clustering algorithm is well suitable for the patterns＇ recognition of transversal distribution of steel strip thickness and it will be useful in online quality control system.

1. Objective The Songliao Basin is a superposed basin filled with two layers. The lower layer is characterized by a fault-bounded volcanogenic succession comprising of intercalated volcanic,pyroclastic and epiclastic rocks. The upper layer is composed of normal sedimentary rocks. The Huoshiling Formation is the earliest volcanic stratum in the Songliao Basin. The report of geological age of it was rare, because of the lack of credible dating samples.

Cellular immunity is a very important part of insect innate immunity. It is not clear if hemocytes entering the hemolymph require a maturation process to become competent. The establishment of a tissue culture system for the insect hematopoietic organs would enable physiological function assays with hemocytes newly emerged from hematopoietic organs. To this end, we established a hematopoietic organ culture system for the purebred silkworm pnd pS and then studied the physiological functions of the newly emerged hemocytes. We found that Grace＇s medium supplemented with 10% heated silkworm larval plasma was better for culturing the hematopoietic organs ofpndpS. Newly emerged hemocytes phagocytosed propidium iodide-labeled bacteria and encapsulated the Iml-2 coated nickel beads as well as pupal tissue debris. This culture system is therefore capable of generating physiologically functional hemocytes. These hemocytes can be used to study the mechanisms of the hemocyte immune response among others.

Objective: To explore the regulatory mechanism of competitive endogenous RNAs(ce RNA) in gastric cancer(GC) and to predict the prognosis of GC. Materials and Methods: Expression profiles of long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs), micro RNAs(mi RNAs), and m RNAs were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas platform. Differentially expressed RNAs(DERNAs) were screened to construct a lnc RNA-mi RNA-m RNA ce RNA network. Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses were performed on the ce RNA network-related differentially expressed m RNAs(DEm RNAs). Next, the DERNAs were subjected to Cox regression and survival analyses to identify crucial prognostic factors for patients with GC. Results: We detected 1029 differentially expressed lnc RNAs, 104 differentially expressed mi RNAs, and 1659 DEm RNAs in patients with GC. Next, we performed bioinformatic analysis to construct the lnc RNA-mi RNA-m RNA ce RNA network, which included 10 mi RNAs, 65 lnc RNAs, and 10 m RNAs. Subsequently, Kaplan Meier(K-M) analysis showed that the survival rate of the high-risk group was significantly lower than that of the low-risk group, and the area under the curve value of the receiver operating characteristic curve revealed that the polygenic model had good predictive ability. The results indicated that ADAMTS9-AS1, ATAD2, and CADM2 might be potential therapeutic targets and prognostic biomarkers for GC. Conclusions: Our study has implications for predicting prognosis and monitoring surveillance of GC and provides a new theoretical and experimental basis for the clinical prognosis of GC.

The limited availability of studies on the natural convection heat transfer characteristics of fluoride salt has hindered progress in the design of passive residual heat removal systems(PRHRS)for molten salt *** paper presents results from a numerical investigation of natural convection heat transfer characteristics of fluoride salt and heat pipes in the drain tank of a *** results are compared with experimental data,demonstrating the accuracy of the calculation *** distribution of fluoride salt and heat transfer characteristics are obtained and *** radial temperature of liquid fluoride salt in the drain tank shows a uniform distribution,while temperatures increase with increase in axial height from the bottom to the top of the drain *** addition,natural convection intensity increases with increase in height of the heat pipes in the *** between heat pipes has no obvious effect on the natural convection heat transfer *** study will contribute to the design of passive heat removal systems for advanced nuclear reactors.

In the present study,the effects of Nb addition on Charpy impact properties of TiVTa refractory high-entropy alloy with high strength-ductility trade-off were systematically studied by using the instrumented Charpy impact testing *** experimental results showed that the impact toughness was remarkably improved by Nb addition in TiVTa to form TiVTaNb *** crack initiation energy and propagation energy of TiVTaNb were 67.3%and 24.9%higher than that of TiVTa,indicating that Nb addition simultaneously reinforced the resistance to crack initiation and *** impact fracture of TiVTaNb exhibited larger bending degree of shear lips,deeper dimples and more secondary cracks which effectively dissipated more impact *** deformation mechanism of TiVTa alloy was dominated by dislocation *** in TiVTaNb,the deformation mechanism was synergized by dislocation activities and deformation twinning,which were the main contributors for the improved impact properties and the stronger crack resistance of TiVTaNb alloy under impact loading.
