In order to improve the detonation characteristics of RDX,a RDX-based composite explosive with TiH_(2)powders was *** effects of content and particle size of TiH_(2)powders on thermal safety,shock wave parameters and thermal damage effects of RDX-based composite explosive were studied with the C80 microcalorimeter,air blast experiment system and colorimetric thermometry *** results showed that TiH_(2)powders could enhance the thermal stability of RDX-based composite explosive and increase its ultimate decomposition *** content and particle size of TiH_(2)powders also had significant effects on the thermal safety,detonation velocity,shock wave parameters,fireball temperature and duration of RDX-based composite ***,the differences of TiH_(2)and Ti powders on the detonation energy output rules of RDX-based composite explosives were also compared,showing that TiH_(2)powders had better influences on improving the explosion power and thermal damage effect of RDX-based composite explosives than Ti powders,for the participation of free H_(2)released by TiH_(2)powders in the detonation ***_(2)powders have important research values as a novel energetic additive in the field of military composite explosives.

To investigate the design strategy of highly loaded tandem cascades at both the midspan and endwall,the overall performance and flow mechanisms of four typical tandem cascades based on the optimization were analyzed from multiple perspectives *** results show that the interference effects on the Front Blade(FB)and Rear Blade(RB)should not be overlooked during the design phase,and the design strategies at the midspan and endwall are completely *** the midspan,the optimization aims to increase the interference effects and the strength of the gap jet while maintaining the same load on the FB and ***,the endwall optimal airfoil exhibits weakening interference effects,advancement of the gap jet location,and load transfer from the FB to *** further analysis of flow characteristics,the midspan optimal airfoil is beneficial for inhibiting the low-energy fluid from interacting with the suction surface of RB under the design condition,but results in earlier occurrence of corner *** endwall optimal airfoil helps suppress the development of the secondary flow and delay the onset of corner ***,by combining the benefits of these two design approaches,additional forward sweep effects are achieved,further enhancing the performance of the tandem cascade.

This paper addresses the planning problem of parallel DC electric springs (DCEss). DCEs, a demand-side management method, realizes automatic matching of power consumption and power generation by adjusting non-critical load (NCL) and internal storage. It can offer higher power quality to critical load (CL), reduce power imbalance and relieve pressure on energy storage systems (REss). In this paper, a planning method for parallel DCEss is proposed to maximize stability gain, economic benefits, and penetration of REss. The planning model is a master optimization with sub-optimization to highlight the priority of objectives. Master optimization is used to improve stability of the network, and sub-optimization aims to improve economic benefit and allowable penetration of REss. This issue is a multivariable nonlinear mixed integer problem, requiring huge calculations by us.ng common solvers. Therefore, particle swarm optimization (PsO) and Elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NsGA-II) were used to solve this model. Considering uncertainty of REss, this paper verifies effectiveness of the proposed planning method on IEEE 33-bus system based on deterministic scenarios obtained by scenario analysis.

Bottle-brush polymers possess.ng densely grafted side chains have special properties that are distinct from linear ***,an efficient method for preparing bottle-brush polymers based on a selective photoactivation strategy in the photoinduced electron/energy transfer reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(PET-RAFT)polymerization was developed.A methacrylate monomer 2-(2-(dodecylthiocarbonothioylthio)propionate)ethyl methacrylate(DTPEMA)containing a 2-(dodecylthiocarbonothioylthio)propionate(DTP)unit with a secondary R group was *** the unique selectivity of metal naphthalocyanine photocatalyst zinc 2,11,20,29-tetra-tert-butyl-2,3-naphthalocyanine(ZnTtBNc)toward trithiocarbonate with tertiary R group,the PET-RAFT polymerization of DTPEMA catalyzed by ZnTtBNc was performed under near infrared(NIR)light(λ_(max)=760 nm)irradiation at room temperature,us.ng 4-cyano-4-[(dodecylsulfanylthiocarbonyl)-sulfanyl]pentanoic acid(CDTPA)with a tertiary R group as a chain transfer agent(CTA).Proton nuclear magnetic resonance(1H NMR)and gel permeation chromatography(GPC)results demonstrated that the DTP units in the side chains were inert during the *** grafting poly(methyl acrylate)(PMA)from PDTPEMA via thermal-initiated RAFT polymerization,welldefined P(DTPEMA-g-PMA)bottle-brush polymers could be ***,the film prepared from the bottle-brush polymer exhibited excellent scratch self-healing property due to the interlocking of side chains.

In this big data era, the use of large dataset in conjunction with machine learning (ML) has been increas.ngly popular in both industry and academia. In recent times, the field of materials science is also undergoing a big data revolution, with large database and repositories appearing everywhere. Traditionally, materials science is a trial-and-error field, in both the computational and experimental departments. With the advent of machine learning-based techniques, there has been a paradigm shift: materials can now be screened quickly us.ng ML models and even generated based on materials with similar properties;ML has also quietly infiltrated many sub-disciplinary under materials science. However, ML remains relatively new to the field and is expanding its wing quickly. There are a plethora of readily-available big data architectures and abundance of ML models and software;The call to integrate all these elements in a comprehensive research procedure is becoming an important direction of material science research. In this review, we attempt to provide an introduction and reference of ML to materials scientists, covering as much as possible the commonly used methods and applications, and discuss.ng the future possibilities.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a press.ng global health concern that is associated with metabolic syndrome and *** the basis of the insights provided by Jiang et al,this editorial presents an exploration of the potential of mesenchymal stem cells(MsCs)for NAFLD *** have numerous desirable characteristics,including immunomodulation,anti-inflammatory pro-perties,and tissue regeneration promotion,rendering them attractive candidates for NAFLD *** preclinical and early clinical studies have high-lighted the efficacy of MsCs in improving liver function and reducing disease severity in NAFLD ***,MsC heterogeneity,long-term safety concerns,and unoptimized therapeutic protocols remain substantial *** these challenges through standardized protocols and rigorous clinical trials is essential to the safe and successful application of MsCs in NAFLD *** research into MsC mechanisms and therapeutic optimization is required to improve treatments for NAFLD and related liver diseases.
