BACKGROUND Tumor budding(TB)has emerged as a promising independent prognostic biomarker in colorectal cancer(CRC).The prognostic role of TB has been extensively studied and currently affects clinical decision making in patients with stage I and II ***,existing prognostic studies on TB in stage III CRC have been confined to small retrospective cohort ***,this study investigated the correlation among TB categories,clinicopathological features,and prognosis in stage III-IV CRC to further enhance the precision and individualization of treatment through refined prognostic risk *** To analyze the relationship between TB categories and clinicopathological characteristics and assess their prognostic value in stage III-IV CRC to further refine the prognostic risk stratification of stage III-IV *** The clinical data of 547 CRC patients were collected for this retrospective *** at the front edge of the tumor buds was counted according to the 2016 International Tumor Budding Consensus Conference *** Multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis demonstrated that chemotherapy(P=0.004),clinical stage IV(Pma and its invasive *** TB has an independent predictive prognostic value in patients with stage III-IV *** is recommended to complete the TB report of stage III-IV CRC cases in the standardized pathological report to further refine risk stratification.

Fabric-based composites with superior mechanical properties and excellent perceptive function are highly ***,it remains a huge challenge to attain structure-function integration,especially for hybrid fabric ***,a skin-inspired interface modification strategy is proposed toward this target by constructing a hybrid smart fabric system consisting of two types of smart fabrics:carbon nanotube(CNT)/MXene-modified aramid fabrics and zinc oxide nanorod(ZnO NR)-modified carbon *** on that,flexible piezoelectric pressure sensors with skin-like hierarchical perception interfaces are fabricated,which demonstrate superb sensitivity of 2.39 V·kPa^(-1)and are capable of various wearable monitoring ***,the interface-modified hybrid fabric reinforced plastics can also be fabricated,which are proven to possess 13.6%higher tensile strength,10.1%elastic *** impressively,their average energy absorption can be improved by 111.9%,accompanied with inherent damage alert *** offers a paradigm to fabricate structure-function integrated hybrid smart fabric composites for the smart clothing and intelligent aerial vehicles.

The dynamic regulation of circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)holds profound significance in various fields,such as highlevel information storage and *** we developed a chiral amphiphilic molecule,CPSB-GLU-PEG350(CGP),composed of aggregation-induced emission(AIE)chromophores(Z)-4-(1-cyano-2-phenylvinyl)benzoic acid(CPSB),a chiral linker Glutamic acid and polyethylene glycol(PEG)thermoresponsive *** the self-assembled supramolecular system formed by CGP,we have achieved in-situ temperature-responsive chiral structures,facilitating the thermal control switch of the CPL *** dynamics simulations demonstrate the distinct behaviors of AIE and PEG units during the temperature-variable assembly ***,by co-assembling achiral dye molecules with CGP,we have expanded the color range of the temperature-responsive CPL assembly system in situ and confirmed the occurrence of circularly polarizedF?rster resonance energy transfer(C-FRET)phenomenon in this process,which successfully enriched the strategies for in-situ CPL control in aqueous *** addition,the contactless radiative energy transfer of CPL can also be realized in this system,exhibiting more flexible temperature regulation of the CPL *** study provides a convenient and universal strategy for the construction of dynamically smart chiroptical materials.

Focusing on the non-concave trajectory constraint,a sliding-mode-based nonsingular feedback fast fixed-time three-dimensional terminal guidance of rotor unmanned aerial vehicle landing,planetary landing and spacecraft rendezvous and docking terminal phase with external disturbance is investigated in this ***,a fixed-time observer based on real-time differentiator is developed to compensate for the external disturbance,whose estimation error can converge to zero after a time independent of the initial ***,a sliding surface ensuring fixed-time convergence is *** sliding surface can guarantee that the vehicle achieves a non-concave trajectory,which is better for avoiding collision and maintaining the visibility of the landing site or docking ***,the nonsingular guidance ensuring the fixed-time convergence of the sliding surface is proposed,which is continuous and chatter *** last,three numerical simulations of mars landing are performed to validate the effectiveness and correctness of the designed scheme.

As a traditional Chinese herbal medicine,Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus(SC)has been used in medicine and food industry due to its health care and therapeutic *** the past 20 years,the use of SC and its active ingredient lignans in the prevention and treatment of liver diseases has been increasing,and their hepatoprotective effects has increased the interest of the public and ***,in the present work,we first determined the effectiveness of SC in the treatment of liver diseases such as metabolic associated fatty liver disease,alcoholic liver disease,cholestatic liver disease and acute liver ***,the pharmacological effects and molecular mechanisms of lignans,the active components of SC,for liver disease treatment were comprehensively summarized for the first *** results showed that the lignans in SC could achieve hepatoprotective effects by regulating lipid metabolism,anti-fibrosis,anti-inflammation,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor and regulating bile acid *** mechanism mainly involved adenosine 5’-monophosphate-activated protein kinase,endoplasmic reticulum stress,sterol regulatory element binding protein 1c,autophagy,transforming growth factor-β,mitogen-activated protein kinase,microRNA,nuclear factor kappa-B,nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2,heat shock proteins and pregnane X receptor signaling *** results can lay a scientific foundation for the development of hepatoprotective drugs or functional foods from SC/lignans.

Piezoelectric semiconductors(PSs)possess both semiconducting properties and piezoelectric coupling effects,making them optimal building blocks for semiconductor *** fiber-like structures have wide applications in multi-functional semiconductor *** this paper,a one-dimensional(1D)theoretical model is established to describe the piezotronic responses of a PS fiber under gradient temperature *** theoretical model aims to explain the mechanism behind the resistance change caused by such gradient temperature *** results demonstrate that a gradient temperature change significantly affects the physical fields within the PS fiber,and can induce changes in its surface *** provides important theoretical guidance on the development of piezotronic devices that are sensitive to temperature effects.

The Multi-access Edge Cloud(MEC) networks extend cloud computing services and capabilities to the edge of the networks. By bringing computation and storage capabilities closer to end-users and connected devices, MEC networks can support a wide range of applications. MEC networks can also leverage various types of resources, including computation resources, network resources, radio resources,and location-based resources, to provide multidimensional resources for intelligent applications in 5/***, tasks generated by users often consist of multiple subtasks that require different types of resources. It is a challenging problem to offload multiresource task requests to the edge cloud aiming at maximizing benefits due to the heterogeneity of resources provided by devices. To address this issue,we mathematically model the task requests with multiple subtasks. Then, the problem of task offloading of multi-resource task requests is proved to be NP-hard. Furthermore, we propose a novel Dual-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning algorithm with Node First and Link features(NF_L_DA_DRL) based on the policy network, to optimize the benefits generated by offloading multi-resource task requests in MEC networks. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the benefit of task offloading with higher resource utilization compared with baseline algorithms.

The eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in China are a typical mountainous region of soil and gravel,where gravel could affect the water movement process in the *** study focused on the effects of different gravel contents on the water absorption characteristics and hydraulic parameters of stony *** stony soil samples were collected from the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in April 2023 and used as the experimental materials to conduct a one-dimensional horizontal soil column absorption *** experimental groups with gravel contents of 0%,10%,20%,30%,40%,and 50%were established to determine the saturated hydraulic conductivity(K_(s)),saturated water content(θ_(s)),initial water content(θ_(i)),and retention water content(θ_(r)),and explore the changes in the wetting front depth and cumulative absorption volume during the absorption *** Philip model was used to fit the soil absorption process and determine the soil water absorption *** the length of the characteristic wetting front depth,shape coefficient,empirical parameter,inverse intake suction and soil water suction were derived from the van Genuchten ***,the hydraulic parameters mentioned above were used to fit the soil water characteristic curves,unsaturated hydraulic conductivity(K_(θ))and specific water capacity(C(h)).The results showed that the wetting front depth and cumulative absorption volume of each treatment gradually decreased with increasing gravel *** with control check treatment with gravel content of 0%,soil water absorption rates in the treatments with gravel contents of 10%,20%,30%,40%,and 50%decreased by 11.47%,17.97%,25.24%,29.83%,and 42.45%,*** the gravel content increased,inverse intake suction gradually increased,and shape coefficient,K_(s),θ_(s),andθ_(r)gradually *** the same soil water content,soil water suction and K_(θ)gradually decreased with increasing gravel *** the same soil water s

Compared to single atom catalysts（SACs）,the introduction of dual atom catalysts（DACs） has a significantly positive effect on improving the efficiency in the electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction（NRR） which provides an environmental alternative to the Haber-Bosch ***,the research on the mechanism and strategy of designing bimetallic combinations for better performance is still in its early ***,based on "blocking and rebalance" mechanism,45 combinations of bimetallic pair doped α-phosphorus carbide（TmaTMB@PC） are investigated as efficient NRR catalysts through density functional theory and machine learning *** a multi-step screening,the combinations of TiV,TiFe,MnMo,and FeW exhibit highly efficient catalytic performance with significantly lower limiting potentials（-0.17,-0.18,-0.14,and-0.30 V,respectively）.Excitingly,the limiting potential for CrMo and CrW combinations is 0 V,which are considered to be extremely suitable for the NRR *** mechanism of "blocking and rebalance" is revealed by the exploration of charge transfer for phosphorus atoms in electron blocking ***,the descriptor φ is proposed with machine learning,which provides design strategies and accurate prediction for finding efficient *** work not only offers promising catalysts TmaTMB@PC for NRR process but also provides design strategies by presenting the descriptor φ.
