High-energy-density（HED） fuel（*** used JP-10 and RJ-4）,featuring compact 3D polycyclic structure with high strain,is of critical importance for volume-limited military aircraft,since their high density and combustion heat can provide more propulsion *** reduce the reliance on petroleum source,it is highly desirable to develop renewable alternatives for the production of strained polycyclic HED fuel,but which remains a big challenge because of the inaccessibility caused by the high strain,We herein demonstrate a three-step catalytic route towards highly strained C17and C18spirofuel with biomass *** process includes catalytic aldol condensation of renewable cyclohexanone/cyclopentanone with benzaldehyde,catalytic spiro Diels-Alder（D-A） reaction of aldol adduct with isoprene,and catalytic *** key spiro D-A reaction is enabled by the catalysis of heterogeneous Lewis acidic ionic *** chloroaluminate IL,formed by benign urea and AICl3,exhibits good catalytic performance and reusability for this *** eventual hydrodeoxygenation（HDO）over Pd/C and H-Y produces strained tricyclic spirofuel with density>0.93 g/mL,combustion heat>41 MJ/L and freezing point <-40℃,which are better than the properties of tactical fuel ***,it is anticipated that the as-prepared renewable fuels have the potential to replace traditional petroleum-derived HED fuels.

The increase in the utilization of infrared heat detection technology in military applications necessitates research on composites with improved thermal transmission performance and microwave absorption *** study satisfactorily fabricated a series of MoS_(2)/BN-xyz composites(which were characterized by the weight ratio of MoS_(2)to BN,denoted by xy:z)through chemical vapor depos-ition,which resulted in their improved thermal stability and thermal transmission *** results show that the remaining mass of MoS_(2)/BN-101 was as high as 69.25wt%at 800℃under air atmosphere,and a temperature difference of 31.7℃was maintained between the surface temperature and the heating source at a heating temperature of 200℃.Furthermore,MoS_(2)/BN-301 exhibited an im-pressive minimum reflection loss value of-32.21 dB at 4.0 mm and a wide effective attenuation bandwidth ranging from 9.32 to 18.00 GHz(8.68 GHz).Therefore,these simplified synthesized MoS_(2)/BN-xyz composites demonstrate great potential as highly efficient con-tenders for the enhancement of microwave absorption performance and thermal conductance.

To mitigate the challenges in managing the damage level of reinforced concrete(RC)pier columns subjected to cyclic reverse loading,this study conducted a series of cyclic reverse tests on RC pier *** analyzing the outcomes of destructive testing on various specimens and fine-tuning the results with the aid of the IMK(Ibarra Medina Krawinkler)recovery model,the energy dissipation capacity coefficient of the pier columns were able to be ***,utilizing the calibrated damage model parameters,the damage index for each specimen were *** on the obtained damage levels,three distinct pre-damage conditions were designed for the pier columns:minor damage,moderate damage,and severe *** study then predicted the variations in hysteresis curves and damage indices under cyclic loading *** experimental findings reveal that the displacement at the top of the pier columns can serve as a reliable indicator for controlling the damage level of pier columns ***,the calibrated damage index model exhibits proficiency in accurately predicting the damage level of RC pier columns under cyclic loading.

A new passive control approach,utilizing bionic slanting riblets,is employed to mitigate the flow close to the blade endwall in a linear cascade,and its effectiveness and mechanism in controlling corner separation are investigated through numerical *** slanting riblets are positioned at the endwall upstream of the cascade channel,and the influence of riblet height,yaw angle and relative position on the control of corner separation is *** findings indicate that the application of slanting riblets can efficiently counteract corner separation across the stable operational ***,the introduction of riblets with a height of merely 0.1 times the boundary layer thickness results in a significant reduction in total pressure loss by up to 14.53%,while simultaneously enhancing the static pressure coefficient by 21.74%.Flow analysis reveals that minute vortices produced within the riblet channels tend to coalesce,forming a potent large-scale vortex near the boundary layer's base *** phenomenon results in reduced additional losses compared to conventional vortex ***,the induced vortex promotes enhanced mixing between the mainstream flow and boundary layer,inhibiting the lateral displacement of low-energy fluids within the endwall boundary ***,this delays the onset of separation vortex formation and eliminates vortex rings in the corner region,ultimately enhancing the aerodynamic efficiency of the cascade.

The efficient production of hydrogen through electrocatalytic decomposition of water has broad prospects in modern energy ***,the catalytic efficiency and durability of hydrogen evolution catalyst are still very deficient,which need to be further *** in this work,we prove that introducing a graphene layer(Gr)between the molybdenum disulfide and nickel foam(Ni-F)substrate can greatly improve the catalytic performance of the *** to the excitation of local surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)of gold nanoparticles(NPs),the electrocatalytic hydrogen releasing activity of the MoS_(2)/Gr/Ni-F heterostructure is greatly *** results in a significant increase in the current density of AuNPs/MoS_(2)/Gr/Ni-F composite material under light irradiation and in the dark at 0.2 V(versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)),which is much better than in MoS_(2)/Gr/Ni-F composite *** enhancement of hydrogen release can be attributed to the injection of hot electrons into MoS_(2)/Gr/Ni-F by AuNPs,which will improve the electron density of MoS_(2)/Gr/Ni-F,promote the reduction of H_(2)O,and further reduce the activation energy of the electrocatalyst hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).We also prove that the introduction of graphene can improve its stability in acidic catalytic *** work provides a new way of designing efficient water splitting system.

This study aimed to investigate the moment redistribution in continuous glass fiber reinforced polymer(GFRP)-concrete composite slabs caused by concrete cracking and steel bar yielding in the negative bending moment *** experimental bending moment redistribution test was conducted on continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs,and a calculation method based on the conjugate beam method was *** composite slabs were formed by combining GFRP profiles with a concrete layer and supported on steel beams to create two-span continuous composite slab *** methods,epoxy resin bonding,and stud connection,were used to connect the composite slabs with the steel *** experimental findings showed that the specimen connected with epoxy resin exhibited two moments redistribution phenomena during the loading process:concrete cracking and steel bar yielding at the internal *** contrast,the composite slab connected with steel beams by studs exhibited only one-moment redistribution phenomenon throughout the loading *** the concrete at the internal support cracked,the bending moment decreased in the internal support section and increased in the midspan *** the steel bars yielded,the bending moment further decreased in the internal support section and increased in the mid-span *** GFRP profiles do not experience cracking,there was no significant decrease in the bending moment of the mid-span *** test specimens experienced compressive failure of concrete at the mid-span *** results showed good agreement between the calculated and experimental values of bending moments in the mid-span section and internal support *** proposed model can effectively predict the moment redistribution behavior of continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs.

BACKGROUND A dual therapy regimen containing amoxicillin is a common treatment option for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori(***).While substantial research supports the efficacy and safety of vonoprazan and amoxicillin(VA)dual therapy in the general population,there is still a lack of studies specifically focusing on its safety in elderly *** To evaluate efficacy and safety of VA dual therapy as first-line or rescue treatment for *** in elderly *** As a real-world retrospective study,data were collected from elderly patients aged 60 years and above who accepted VA dual therapy(vonoprazan 20 mg twice daily+amoxicillin 1000 mg thrice daily for 14 days)for *** eradication in the Department of Gastroenterology at Peking University First Hospital between June 2020 and January *** status was evaluated by^(13)C-urease breath test 6 weeks after *** adverse events(AEs)during treatment were *** In total,401 cases were ***-one cases were excluded due to loss to follow-up,lack of re-examination,or unwillingness to take *** total of 380 included cases comprised 250 who received VA dual therapy as first-line treatment and 130 who received VA dual therapy as rescue *** was successfully eradicated in 239 cases(95.6%)in the first-line treatment group and 116 cases(89.2%)in the rescue treatment *** overall incidence of AEs was 9.5%for both ***,9.2%of patients experienced an AE in the first-line treatment group and 10.0%in the rescue treatment *** patients discontinued treatment due to AE,with a discontinuation rate of 1.3%.No serious AE *** The VA dual therapy regimen as a first-line treatment and a rescue therapy was effective and safe for elderly patients aged 60 and older.

AIM:To explore whether antisense blocking of protein kinase C alpha(PKCα)would reverse multi-drug resistance(MDR)in the vincristine(VCR)-resistant human gastric cancer cell line SGC7901/VCR. METHODS:SGC7901/VCR cells expressing antisense PKCα,SGC7901/VCR/aPKC,were established by transfection with a recombinant plasmid reversely inserted with PKCα*** vector(PCI-neo)transfected cell clones,SGC7901/VCR/neo,served as the *** blot method was used to detect PKCαcontent in SGC7901,SGC7901/VCR,SGC7901/ VCR/neo and SGC7901/VCR/aPKC cells,using PKCα-specific *** sensitivity of SGC7901,SGC7901/ VCR,SGC7901/VCR/neo and SGC7901/VCR/aPKC cells to doxorubicin(DOX)in vitro was determined by MTT *** uptake of DOX in these cells was detected with fluorescence ***:Western blot analysis showed that the PKCαprotein level was about 8.7-fold higher in SGC7901/ VCR cells than that in SGC7901 cells,whereas the protein expression of PKCαwas reduced by 78%in SGC7901/VCR/aPKC cells when compared with the SGC7901/VCR ***7901/VCR/aPKC cells had a 4.2-fold increase in DOX cytotoxicity,accompanied by a 1.7-fold increase of DOX accumulation in comparison with SGC7901/VCR cells. CONCLUSION:PKCαpositively regulates MDR in SGC7901 cells,and inhibition of PKCαcan partially attenuate MDR in human gastric cancer cells.

To the Editor： Occipital neuralgia （ON） is the third most common headache syndrome following migraine and tension-type headache. In recent years, peripheral nerve stimulation （PNS） has been used to relieve severe pain caused by some types of neuralgia when conservative medical treatments and block procedures were not effective. PNS is a kind of neuromodulation using spinal cord stimulation device to relieve neuralgias. Here. we presented a case in which a patient with refractory ON was treated successfully with PNS.
