Vortex wave and plane wave,as two most fundamental forms of wave propagation,are widely applied in various research ***,there is currently a lack of basic mechanism to enable arbitrary conversion between *** this paper,we propose a new paradigm of extremely anisotropic acoustic metasurface(AM)to achieve the efficient conversion from 2D vortex waves with arbitrary orbital angular momentum(OAM)to plane *** underlying physics of this conversion process is ensured by the symmetry shift of AM medium parameters and the directional compensation of ***,this novel phenomenon is further verified by analytical calculations,numerical demonstrations,and acoustic experiments,and the deflection angle and direction of the converted plane waves are qualitatively and quantitatively confirmed by a simple *** work provides new possibilities for arbitrary manipulation of acoustic vortex,and holds potential applications in acoustic communication and OAM-based devices.

Existing research on the precise link between dietary niacin intake and erectile dysfunction(ED)is ***,this study aimed to investigate the potential association between dietary niacin intake and the risk of *** logistic regression and restricted cubic splines(RCSs)were used to examine the relationship between dietary niacin intake and *** interaction analysis was performed to assess the impact of different subgroups on the study *** addition,1:1 propensity score matching(PSM)was employed to adjust for potential confounding factors,ensuring the reliability of the *** analyzed data were collected from the 2001–2004 National health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES)in the *** study encompassed 3184 adults,among whom 863 participants were identified as having *** adjustments for potential confounders,the findings revealed that higher niacin intake,specifically in the highest tertile,was associated with a decreased risk of ED compared to that in the lowest tertile,showing an odds ratio(OR)of 0.56(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.37–0.85).Analysis of dose–response curves illustrated a negative correlation between dietary niacin intake and the risk of *** and interaction analyses fortified the consistency of these ***,PSM corroborated the validity of the *** study suggests an inverse association between dietary niacin intake and the risk of ***,establishing a cause-and-effect relationship remains elusive,and defining the safe threshold of niacin intake to prevent ED requires further investigation.

Objective This study aimed to investigate the role of the long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)maternally expressed gene 3(MEG3)in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)of bladder cancer cells and the potential *** Cell invasion,migration,and wound healing assays were conducted to assess the effects of MEG3 on the invasive and migratory capabilities of bladder cancer *** expression levels of E-cadherin were measured using Western blotting,RT-qPCR,and dual luciferase reporter *** immunoprecipitation and pull-down assays were performed to investigate the interactions between MEG3 and its downstream *** MEG3 suppressed the invasion and migration of bladder cancer cells and modulated the transcription of *** binding of MEG3 to the zinc finger region of the transcription factor Snail prevented its ability to transcriptionally repress ***,MEG3 suppressed the phosphorylation of extracellular regulated protein kinase(ERK),c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK),and P38,thereby decreasing the expression of Snail and stimulating the expression of *** MEG3 plays a vital role in suppressing the EMT in bladder cancer cells,indicating its potential as a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of bladder cancer.

Orbital angular momentum(OAM),with its unique physical properties and vast application prospects,has attracted widespread attention in various ***,the development of valid and practical acoustic OAM detection methods continues to be a challenging *** this paper,we propose a novel construction method of dual-layer metasurfaces to achieve a doubleconversion process for the waveform reshaping and differentiated focusing of two-dimensional vortex sources with different ***,by utilizing a concise formula,a one-to-one correspondence is established between the OAM of incident vortex waves and different imaging *** fundamental principle of this special conversion relationship is rigorously constrained by the directional compensation of phase and the material parameters of dual-layer metasurfaces with different quadratic phase *** importantly,the highly consistent results between numerical demonstrations and acoustic experiments further confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed OAM detection *** work provides a new perspective on the precise manipulation for the phase of vortex fields,holding potential applications in super-resolution imaging and the design of acoustic OAM-based devices.

The interfacial structure plays an important role in the mechanical properties of magnesium matrix composite(MMCs)reinforced with graphene nanosheet(GNS)due to their poor wettability with the Mg *** interface design strategy was proposed to form the semi-coherent interfacial structure with superior bonding *** lattice mismatch and interfacial bonding strength between Mg/rare earth oxide/carbon were utilized as key characteristics to evaluate the interfacial *** oxide(La2O3)was selected as the intermediate candidate due to its low lattice mismatch and high interfacial bonding *** identify the interfacial structure of Mg/La2O3/graphene,first-principles calculations were conducted to calculate the ideal work of separation and electronic structure of the *** demonstrated the presence of strong ionic and covalent interactions at the interface,which theoretically verified the strong interfacial bonding strength among Mg/La2O3/graphene *** experimentally validate the interface strength,MMCs with the interface structure of Mg/La2O3/GNS were *** formation of in-situ La2O3 led to the successful attainment of semi-coherent structures between Mg/La2O3 and La2O3/GNS,resulting in high strength and good ductility of the ***,this work proposes a new approach to interface design in MMCs with an enhancement of mechanical properties.

The Lower Cambrian shale gas in the western Hubei area,South China has a great resource prospect,but the gas-in-place(GIP)content in different sedimentary facies varies widely,and the relevant mechanism has been not well *** the present study,two sets of the Lower Cambrian shale samples from the Wells YD4 and YD5 in the western Hubei area,representing the deep-water shelf facies and shallowwater platform facies,respectively,were investigated on the differences of pore types,pore structure and methane adsorption capacity between them,and the main controlling factor and mechanism of their methane adsorption capacities and GIP contents were *** results show that the organic matter(OM)pores in the YD4 shale samples are dominant,while the inorganic mineral(IM)pores in the YD5 shale samples are primary,with underdeveloped OM *** pore specific surface area(SSA)and pore volume(PV)of the YD4 shale samples are mainly from micropores and mesopores,respectively,while those of the YD5 shale samples are mainly from micropores and macropores,*** methane adsorption capacity of the YD4 shale samples is significantly higher than that of the YD5 shale samples,with a maximum absolute adsorption capacity of 3.13 cm^(3)/g and 1.31 cm^(3)/g in average,*** with the shallow-water platform shale,the deep-water shelf shale has a higher TOC content,a better kerogen type and more developed OM pores,which is the main mechanism for its higher adsorption *** GIP content models based on two samples with a similar TOC content selected respectively from the Wells YD4 and YD5 further indicate that the GIP content of the deep-water shelf shale is mainly 34 m^(3)/t within a depth range of 1000—4000 m,with shale gas exploration and development potential,while the shallow-water platform shale has normally a GIP content ofhe geological and geochemical conditions of shale gas formation a

At present,commercial Li-ion batteries are hardly to satisfy the growing demand for high energy density,for this purpose,lithium metal batteries have attracted worldwide attention in recent ***,its practical applications are hindered by the formation of Li dendrites and volume effect during Li plating/stripping process,which leads to a lot of safety ***,we first employed MOF-derived V_(2)O_(5) nanoparticles to decorate the carbon fiber cloth(CFC)backbone to acquire a lithiophilic 3D porous conductive framework(CFC@V_(2)O_(5)).Subsequently,the CFC@V_(2)O_(5) skeleton was permeated with molten Li to prepare CFC@V_(2)O_(5)@Li composite *** CFC@V_(2)O_(5)@Li composite anode can be stably cycled for more than 1650 h at high current density(5 mA·cm^(-2))and areal capacity(5 mA·h·cm^(–2)).The prepared full cell can initially maintain a high capacity of about 143 mA·h·g^(-1) even at a high current density of 5 C,and can still maintain 114 mA·h·g^(-1) after 1000 cycles.

The highly efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of NHC·VOCl_(3) containing symmetrical or unsymmetrical Nheterocyclic carbene(NHC) ligands by the transmetallation reaction of NHC·AgCl with VOCl_(3).The total isolated yield of VOCl_(3)[1,3-(2,4,6-Me_(3)C_(6)H_(2))_(2)(NCH=)_(2)C:](V4') reached 86% by transmetallation reaction,which is much higher than that(48%) by direct coordination *** methodology has also been used to synthesize the novel vanadium complexes containing unsymmetrical NHC ligands of VOCl_(3)[PhCH_(2)NCH=CHNR)C:](V5',R=2,4,6-Me_(3)C_(6)H_(2);V6',R=2,4-Me_(2)-6-Ph-C_(6)H_(2);V7',R=2,6-^(i)Pr_(2)-C_(6)H_(3)) with high yield,which could not be obtained by direct coordination *** catalytic activity and copolymerization ability would be improved by introducing unsymmetrical NHC ligands due to their less steric bulky *** vanadium complex V5' containing unsymmetrical NHC ligand exhibits higher catalytic activity(3.7×10^(5)g_(copolymer)·mol^(-1) of V·h^(-1)) than that of V4' containing symmetrical NHC ***,the higher propylene incorporation ratio(45.6 mol%) in the copolymers of ethylene with propylene could be obtained by using V5' than that(39.9%) by using V4'.The results would provide a highly efficient strategy for the synthesis of early transition metal complexes containing versitile NHC ligands,affording the catalyst with both high catalytic activity and copolymerization ability for the synthesis of high performance polyolefin elastomers.

Polymyxin B,produced by Paenibacillus polymyxa,is used as the last line of defense *** this study,exogenous mixture of precursor amino acids increased the level and proportion of polymyxin B1 in the total of polymyxin B analogs of *** CJX518-AC(PPAC)from 0.15 g/L and 61.8%to 0.33 g/L and 79.9%,*** co-culture of strain PPAC and recombinant Corynebacterium glutamicum-leu01,which produces high levels of threonine,leucine,and isoleucine,increased polymyxin B1 production to 0.64 g/*** strains PPAC and ***-leu01 simultaneously inoculated into an optimized medium with 20 g/L peptone,polymyxin B1 production was increased to 0.97 g/***,the polymyxin B1 production in the co-culture of strains PPAC and ***-leu01 increased to 2.21 g/L after optimized inoculation ratios and fermentation medium with 60 g/L *** study provides a new strategy to improve polymyxin B1 production.
