Extraordinary synergy on 3D hierarchical porous Co-Cu nanocomposite for catalytic elimination of VOCs at low temperature and high space velocity

It is still a challenge to develop hierarchically nanostructured catalysts with simple approaches to enhance the low-temperature catalytic ***,a set of mesoporous Co-Cu binary metal oxides with different morphologies were successfully prepared via a facile ammonium bicarbonate precipitation method without any templates or surfactants,which were further applied for catalytic removal of carcinogenic *** the catalysts with different ratios,the CoCu_(0.2)composite oxide presented the best performance,where the temperature required for 90%conversion of toluene was only 237°C at the high weight hour space velocity(WHSV)of 240,000 mL/(gcat·hr).Meanwhile,compared to the related Co-Cu composite oxides prepared by using different precipitants(NaOH and H_(2)C_(2)O_(4)),the NH_(4)HCO_(3)-derived CoCu_(0.2)sample exhibited better catalytic efficiency in toluene oxidation,while the T90 were 22 and 28°C lower than those samples prepared by NaOH andH_(2)C_(2)O_(4)routes,*** on various characterizations,it could be deduced that the excellent performance was related to the small crystal size(6.7 nm),large specific surface area(77.0 m2/g),hollow hierarchical nanostructure with abundant high valence Co ions and adsorbed oxygen *** situ DRIFTS further revealed that the possible reaction pathway for the toluene oxidation over CoCu_(0.2)catalyst followed the route of absorbed toluene→benzyl alcohol→benzaldehyde→benzoic acid→carbonate→CO_(2)and H_(2)*** addition,CoCu_(0.2)sample could keep stable with long-time operation and occur little inactivation under humid condition(5 vol.%water),which revealed that the NH_(4)HCO_(3)-derived CoCu_(0.2)nanocatalyst possessed great potential in industrial applications for VOCs abatement.

The interaction between nanoparticles （NPs） and pollutants affects their bioavailability and ***,the processes by which NPs and pollutants change in vivo have rarely been ***,using laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry （LA-ICP–MS）,we found that both nanoplastics and ZnO NPs caused more Cd to accumulate in zebrafish larvae,but with distinct *** could adsorb Cd2+and transfer it into the larvae through the“Trojan horse”*** coexposure of nanoplastics and Cd2+caused Cd to accumulate in the abdomen where the nanoplastics were located without dissociation,showing a lower toxic effect than Cd2+exposure *** NPs weakly adsorbed Cd2+,but they increased the Zn and Cd contents in larvae by enhancing the expression of metal *** coexposure of ZnO and Cd2+evenly distributed Cd in the larvae,revealing a more severe toxic effect than Cd2+exposure *** results demonstrated the changing bioavailability and toxicity of Cd induced by different *** also shows the vital role LA-ICP-MS plays in revealing the relationship between toxicity and *** addition,the long-term effect of bioavailability on heavy metal toxicity and nanosafety deserves further investigation.

In this study,we present a unified sparsity-driven framework that significantly enhances motion deblurring performance by integrating two key components:a custom-designed dataset and a low-rank module(LRM).This framework leverages the inherent sparsity of per-pixel blur kernels to bolster both deblurring accuracy and model ***,we propose an adaptive-basis decomposition-based deblurring(ADD)approach,which constructs a tailored training dataset to enhance the generalization capacity of the deblurring *** ADD framework adaptively decomposes motion blur into sparse basis elements,effectively addressing the intricacies associated with non-uniform ***,an LRM is proposed to improve the interpretability of deblurring models as a plug-and-play module,primarily designed to identify and harness the intrinsic sparse features in sharp images.A series of ablation studies have been conducted to substantiate the synergistic advantages of combining the proposed ADD with the LRM for overall improvement in deblurring ***,we empirically demonstrate through rigorous experimentation that incorporating the LRM into an existing Uformer network leads to substantial enhancement in reconstruction *** integration yields a sparsity-guided low-rank network(SGLRN).Operating under the overarching principle of sparsity,SGLRN consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods across multiple standard deblurring *** experimental results,assessed through quantitative metrics and qualitative visual evaluations,provide compelling evidence of its *** overall deblurring results are available at Google Drive.

This paper presents a design method to implement an antenna array characterized by ultra-wide beam coverage,low profile,and low Sidelobe Level(SLL)for the application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)air-to-ground *** array consists of ten broadside-radiating,ultrawide-beamwidth elements that are cascaded by a central-symmetry series-fed network with tapered currents following Dolph-Chebyshev distribution to provide low ***,an innovative design of end-fire Huygens source antenna that is compatible with metal ground is presented.A low-profile,half-mode Microstrip Patch Antenna(MPA)is utilized to serve as the magnetic dipole and a monopole is utilized to serves as the electric dipole,constructing the compact,end-fire,grounded Huygens source ***,two opposite-oriented end-fire Huygens source antennas are seamlessly integrated into a single antenna element in the form of monopole-loaded MPA to accomplish the ultrawide,broadside-radiating *** consideration has been applied into the design of series-fed network as well as antenna element to compensate the adverse coupling effects between elements on the radiation *** indicates an ultrawide Half-Power Beamwidth(HPBW)of 161°and a low SLL of-25 dB with a high gain of 12 d Bi under a single-layer *** concurrent ultrawide beamwidth and low SLL make it particularly attractive for applications of UAV air-to-ground communication.

Nowadays,force sensors play an important role in industrial production,electronic information,medical health,and many other ***-dimensional material-based filed effect transistor(2D-FET)sensors are competitive with nano-level size,lower power consumption,and accurate ***,few of them has the capability of impulse detection which is a path function,expressing the cumulative effect of the force on the particle over a period of *** we fabricated the flexible polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)gate dielectric MoS_(2)-FET for force and impulse sensor *** systematically investigated the responses of the sensor to constant force and varying forces,and achieved the conversion factors of the drain current signals(I_(ds))to the detected impulse(I).The applied force was detected and recorded by I_(ds)with a low power consumption of~30 *** sensitivity of the device can reach~8000%and the 4×1 sensor array is able to detect and locate the normal force applied on ***,there was almost no performance loss for the device as left in the air for two months.

This paper investigated the use of magnesium phosphate cement (MPC) for solidifying sludge with different humic acid (HA) content (ranging from 0 to 4.5%) and explored the solidification mechanism. Fluidity, setting time, unconfined compressive strength (UCS), the strength formation mechanism, and the spontaneous imbibition process of solidified sludge (SS) were studied. The results indicate that MPC can be used as a low-alkalinity curing agent. As the HA content increases, fluidity and setting time also increase, while hydration temperature and strength decrease. Additionally, the failure mode of SS transitions from brittleness to ductility. The strength of SS is composed of the cementation strength provided by MPC hydration products, matric suction, osmotic suction, and the structural strength of the sludge. MPC reduces the structural strength caused by the shrinkage of pure sludge under the action of matric suction, but the incorporation of MPC significantly improved the strength when the sludge is eroded by water. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) show that the sludge and MPC can form a dense solid body, forming various hydration products, and synergistically improve the mechanical properties of the sludge.

The inevitable decoherence of quantum states leaks information to the environments and reduces the practical performance of quantum-information *** purification of coherent states provides an easy-to-implement approach to decouple from the environments utilizing the correlation of several ***,repeated transmission of quantum states reduces the randomness of the collectivity and generates security *** this paper,we propose a modified purification scheme and apply it to the continuous-variable quantum secure direct communication(CV-QSDC)protocol based on coherent *** designed purification scheme improves the security capacity of communication systems through the effective suppression of excess noises,accompanied by the maintenance of source-side *** conduct a proof-of-principle experiment of the purification scheme in the CV-QSDC *** appearance of transmitted quantum states in phase space and two-dimensional Gaussian distributions have high goodness of fit at two *** security capability of this system is improved by 43.6%as the excess noise is reduced to 0.58 times the original noise by purification.
