Radical prostatectomy can be accomplished by the open or the laparoscopic *** laparoscopic approach can be divided into pure laparoscopic(LRP)or robotic assisted(RALP).LRP can be finished transperitoneally(Montsouris Ⅰ technique or Heilbronn technique)or extraperitoneally(Montsouris Ⅱ technique).Similarly,RALP can be performed transperitoneally or extraperitoneally.

In this paper, using the matrix skills and operator theory techniques we characterize the commutant of analytic Toeplitz operators on Bergman space. For f（z） = z^ng（z）（n ≥1）, g（z） = b0 ＋ b1z^p1 ＋b2z^p2 ＋.. , bk ≠ 0 （k = 0, 1, 2,...）, our main result is =A′（Mf） = A′（Mzn）∩A′（Mg） = A′（Mz^s）, where s = g.c.d.（n,p1,p2,...）. In the last section, we study the relation between strongly irreducible curve and the winding number W（f,f（α））, α ∈ D.

Beneficial effects of glycyrrhizic acid(GA),a bioactive extract of licorice root,in the prevention of metabolic syndrome have been consistently reported while advanced glycation end products(AGE)and receptor for advanced glycation end product(RAGE)are the leading factors in the development of diabetes *** aim of this study was to investigate the effects of GA on the AGE-RAGE axis using high-fat/high-sucrose(HF/HS)diet-induced metabolic syndrome rat *** four male Sprague–Dawley rats were randomly assigned into three groups for 4 weeks:(1)Group A,normal diet with standard rat chow;(2)Group B,HF/HS diet;(3)Group C,HF/HS diet and oral administration of 100 mg/kg GA per *** results showed that HF/HS diet elevated the fasting blood glucose level and insulin resistance index which was prevented by GA *** treatment significantly lowered the circulating AGE independent of its glucose-lowering ***/HS diet also triggered RAGE upregulation in the abdominal muscles while GA administration downregulated RAGE expression in the abdominal muscles,aorta and subcutaneous adipose *** conclusion,HF/HS diet could cause glucose intolerance,insulin resistance and upregulation of RAGE expression while GA ameliorated the metabolic dysregulation besides exhibiting inhibitory effects on the AGE-RAGE axis.

Magnesium(Mg)alloys have attracted considerable research attention as potential biocompatible implant ***,the major barriers to the extended use of such medical devices are the possibility of high corrosion rate and implantassociated *** solve them,a novel polyacrylic acid(PAA)/gentamicin sulfate(GS)-hydroxyapatite(HAp)coating was synthesized by a one-step hydrothermal deposition *** of functional coatings were investigated by SEM,FTIR and *** properties of samples were evaluated by electrochemical and hydrogen evolution *** activities of the coatings against Staphylococcus aureus(***)were measured by the plate-counting *** showed that the as-prepared HAp coating with dense and flawless morphologies could not only enhance the corrosion resistance of Mg alloys,but also improve the adhesion strength between the HAp coating and the *** addition,the induction of the apatite coating during immersion confirmed the excellent mineralization ability of the HAp ***,the obtained HAp coati ng possessed antibacterial properties and could prolong the release of ***,the PAA/GS-HAp coated Mg alloy could serve as a better candidate for biomedical applications with good anti-corrosion and antibacterial properties.

SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF VITAMIN B COMPLEX (THIAMINE, RIBOFLAVIN, NIACIN, PYRIDOXINE AND FOLIC ACID) IN FOODS BY HPLC

A high performance liquid chromatographic assay has been developed for the simultaneous determination of five water soluble vitamins:thimine, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine and folic acid in cereal products and fresh vegetables. Food samples were hydrolyzed in 0.4 mol/L HCl, autoclaved at 120℃ 15 psi for 20 minutes, using a μ-Bondapak column (3.9×300mm, Waters Co.), a mobile phase of methanol-water (30:70) (0.005 mol/L heptanesulfonic acid) and a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min gave the most satisfactory separation of the five water soluble vitamins. A double channel deteetion was used: four vitamins (B_5, folic acid, B_2, B_1) were detected hy UV spectrophotometry (254 nm) first, pyridoxine (B_6) was detected by fluoromelry (EX 290nm, EM 395 nm) afterwards. Detection limits were 2, 5, 5, 2and 5ng, linear ranges were 5-10ng, 5-50ng, 5-40ng, 5-50ng and 10-50ng for B_1, B_2, B_5, B_6 and folic acid respectively. Recoveries were 92-100%(B_5), 51-52% (folio acid), 103—105% (B_2), 99—100% (B_6) and 91.3—102% (B_1) respectively. In comparison with a reference method and checking with food composition tables, very satisfactory results were obtained by this method.

Vitamin D, a fat-soluble vitamin and endocrine horm one, and it impacts various bone and extra-bone health, such as osteoporosis, diabetes, and cancer. The main circulating form of vitamin D is 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] and it is a useful clinical biomarker of vitamin D status. The Institute of Medicine (IOM) defines as vitamin D deficiency (VDD) when serum 25(OH)D concentration is less than 20 ng/mL⑴.Worldwide, VDD is recognized as a severe public health problem. In 2007, Holick estimated that globally over one billion people suffered from VDD or vitamin D insufficiency (VDI). In China, it has bee n reported that the prevale nee of VDD ranged from 38.8% to 91.2% in different regions.

Chiral ligand conjugated transition metal oxide nanoparticles(NPs) are a promising platform for chiral recognition, biochemical sensing, and chiroptics. Herein, we present chirality-based strategy for effective sensing of mercury ions via ligand-induced chirality derived from metal-to-ligand charge transfer(MLCT) effects. The ligand competition effect between molybdenum and heavy metal ions such as mercury is designated to be essential for MLCT chirality. With this know-how, mercury ions, which have a larger stability constant(Kf) than molybdenum, can be selectively identified and quantified with a limit of detection(LOD) of 0.08 and 0.12 nmol/L for D-cysteine and L-cysteine(Cys) capped Mo O2 NPs. Such chiral chemical sensing nanosystems would be an ideal prototype for biochemical sensing with a significant impact on the field of biosensing, biological systems,and water research-based nanotoxicology.

Simulation of Ultra-slow Oscillations Using the Integrate and Fire Neuron Model

The Integrate and Fire (IF) neuron model wasusedto simulate ultra-slow oscillations that were observed in cortical cultures. Simulation of a network with 2 sub-networks is conducted in this study. We introduced an additional equation that governs the generation and dissipation of an inhibitory property to each of the ***-networks that fire at different rate are generated from the simulation. The network activity from the simulation oscillates at frequencies that are comparable to ultra-slow oscillations observed in cortical cultures.
