Wideband Millimeter Wave Antenna with Cavity Backed Slotted Patch and Magneto-Electric Dipole

This paper proposes a wideband cavity-backed slotted patch antenna, loaded with a magneto-electric（ME） dipole and fed by a microstrip line, for millimeter wave（mm-Wave） applications. The coupled-feed cavitybacked slotted patch antenna is loaded with the ME-dipole. The slotted patch antenna serves both as a radiator and a ground for the ME-dipole. The combination of the ME-dipole antenna and the slotted patch antenna realizes a-10d B impedance bandwidth covering over 22.86–44.35GHz（63.9%）. The pattern of the antenna element remains stable throughout this bandwidth. The proposed broadband antenna unit not only realizes single linearly polarized（LP）radiation but also can be designed for dual-LP radiation. The dual-polarized radiation can be achieved by changing the slot of the patch antenna to a crossed slot and altering the ME-dipole antenna to a dual-polarization form. A 2×2dual-polarized array has been designed, fabricated, and tested. A novel dual-polarized feeding network is *** achieve higher isolation, broadband in-phase feed and differential feed are adopted, respectively. A low-loss single to the differential structure is proposed for differential feeding. The simulated isolation of the array is higher than 40d B. In this work,the effects of carbon nanotubes(CNTs)on the microstructure evolution,thermal conductivity,and mechanical properties of C_(f)/SiC composites during chemical vapor infiltration(CVI)densification were investigated in *** with composites without CNTs,the thermal conductivity,flexural strength,flexural modulus,fracture toughness,interfacial shear strength,and proportional limit stress of specimens with CNTs of 4.94 wt%were improved by 117%,21.8%,67.4%,10.3%,36.4%,and 71.1%,*** improvement was attributed to the role of CNTs in the division of inter-layer pores,which provided abundant vapor growth sites for the ceramic matrix and promoted densification of the whole *** addition,the high thermal conductivity network formed by the overlap of CNTs and the rivet strengthening effect of CNTs were beneficial for synergistic improvement of thermal conductivity and mechanical properties of the ***,this study has practical significance for the development of thermal protection composite components with enhanced thermal conductivity and mechanical characteristics.

Chlorfenapyr is a broad-spectrum halogenated pyrrole insecticide with a unique mode of *** to the misuse and overuse of this chemical,resistance has been reported in several arthropods,including Plutella xylostella,which is one of the most destructive insect pests afflicting crucifers worldwide.A better understanding of the cross-resistance and genetics of field-evolved chlorfenapyr resistance could effectively guide resistance management ***,the chlorfenapyr resistance of a fieldderived population of P xylostella was introgressed into the susceptible IPP-S strain using a selection-assisted multigenerational backcrossing *** constructed nearisogenic strain,TH-BCsF2,shared 98.4%genetic background with the recurrent parent IPP-S *** TH-BCsF2 strain showed 275-fold resistance to chlorfenapyr,but no significant cross-resistance to spinosad,abamectin,chlorpyrifos,β-cypermethrin,indoxacarb,chlorantraniliprole,or broflanilide(no more than 4.2-fold).Genetic analysis revealed that resistance was autosomal,incompletely dominant,and conferred by 1 major gene or a few tightly linked *** synergism of metabolic inhibitors(PBO,deM,and deF)to chlorfenapyr was very weak(derstanding of the genetic traits of chlorfenapyr resistance,and provides essential information for improving resistance management strategies.

Photothermal material applied in environmental governance has attracted growing *** combining the Stober method and dopamine-triggered coating strategy,Co-Mn precursor was in situ incorporated into the poly dopamine(PDA)layer over the surface of silica ***,a unique photothermal nanosphere with SiO_(2)core and thin carbon layer and dual Co-Mn oxides shell was allowed to form by sequential heat treatment in the inert atmosphere(SiO_(2)@CoMn/C).The bimetallic fraction of Co/Mn in the carbon layer and post-treatment calcination temperature was comprehensively tuned to optimize the peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation performance of the *** state of bimetallic species was studied including their physical distribution,chemical valence,and interplay by various ***,Co oxides appear as dominant monodispersed nanoparticles(~10 nm),while Mn with cluster-like morphology is observed to uniformly distribute over thin-layer carbon and adhered to the surface of SiO_(2)nanospheres(~250 nm).The calcined temperature could tune the oxidized state of Co species,leading to the optimization of the catalytic performance of introduced dual metal *** a result,this obtained optimal catalyst integrated the advantages of exposed bimetallic CoMn species and N-doped thin carbon to deliver excellent catalytic PMS activation performance and photothermal synergetic catalytic mineralization ability for diversiform *** reactions condition controls and anion interference studies were conducted to identify the adaptability of the optimal ***,the application of solar-driven interfacial water evaporation using optimal SiO_(2)@Co_3Mn_1/C-600 catalyst was explored,showing a high water evaporation rate of 1.48 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1)and an efficiency of 95.2%,further revealing a comprehensive governance functionality of obtained material in the complex pollution condition.

It remains an urgent task to develop alternative hole-transporting layer(HTL)materials beyond commonly used PEDOT:PSS to increase the shelf-life of organic solar cells(OSCs).Inorganic metal oxide type materials,such as NiO_(x),CoO_(x)and VO_(x),with suitable work functions have attracted numerous research attention *** this work,more abundant and easily accessible oxygenated salt,vanadyl sulfate(VOSO_(4))has been demonstrated to be excellent choice as HTL for *** VOSO_(4)-based HTL can be readily processed by spin-coating from the precursor solution with subsequent thermal annealing and UVO *** a consequence,a high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 18.72%can be achieved for PM8:L8-BO based OSCs with the VOSO_(4)-based *** transmittance,smooth film surface,suitable energy level and high conductivity were revealed to contribute to the high OSC *** importantly,compared to device with PEDOT:PSS,VOSO_(4)-based OSCs exhibit improved stability when stored in the N_(2)filled glove *** being stored for 600 h,VOSO_(4)-based device can retain 89%of its initial ***,VOSO_(4)can be used as general HTL in PM6:BTP-BO-4Cl and PM6:IT-4F based OSCs,yielding high PCEs of 17.87%and 13.85%,respectively.

Adversarial distillation(AD)has emerged as a potential solution to tackle the challenging optimization problem of loss with hard labels in adversarial ***,fixed sample-agnostic and student-egocentric attack strategies are unsuitable for ***,the reliability of guidance from static teachers diminishes as target models become more *** paper proposes an AD method called Learnable Distillation Attack Strategies and Evolvable Teachers Adversarial Distillation(LDAS&ET-AD).Firstly,a learnable distillation attack strategies generating mechanism is developed to automatically generate sample-dependent attack strategies tailored for distillation.A strategy model is introduced to produce attack strategies that enable adversarial examples(AEs)to be created in areas where the target model significantly diverges from the teachers by competing with the target model in minimizing or maximizing the AD ***,a teacher evolution strategy is introduced to enhance the reliability and effectiveness of knowledge in improving the generalization performance of the target *** calculating the experimentally updated target model’s validation performance on both clean samples and AEs,the impact of distillation from each training sample and AE on the target model’s generalization and robustness abilities is assessed to serve as feedback to fine-tune standard and robust teachers *** evaluate the performance of LDAS&ET-AD against different adversarial attacks on the CIFAR-10 and CIFAR-100 *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a robust precision of 45.39%and 42.63%against AutoAttack(AA)on the CIFAR-10 dataset for ResNet-18 and MobileNet-V2,respectively,marking an improvement of 2.31%and 3.49%over the baseline *** comparison to state-of-the-art adversarial defense techniques,our method surpasses Introspective Adversarial Distillation,the top-performing method in terms of robustne

Single crystals of a bismuth-based coordination polymer(CP)with carboxyl-thiol ligands,[Bi(C_(8)H_(2)O_(4)S_(2))(C2H8N)]n(Bi-DSBDC-DMA,DMBDC=2,5-disulfur-1,4-dicarboxylate,DMA=dimethylamine),have been successfully synthesized.X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that Bi-DSBDC-DMA possesses a layered structure,with two-dimensional(2D)Bi-DSBDC networks alternating with layers composed of dimethylamine *** material demonstrates semiconducting properties,featuring an optical bandgap of 2.2 eV and an electrical conductivity of 2×10^(-8) S/***,electrodes based on this material exhibit a capacity of 250 mAh/g after 200 cycles for lithium-ion storage.

Versatile stimuli-responsive circularly polarized luminescent(CPL)materials have potential applications in information storage,security encryption,and intelligent *** this study,the Z/E isomerization of ultraviolet(UV)-photosensitive achiralα-cyanostilbene derivative was used as an achiral dichroic dye(Switch)to drive the controllable CPL-active response in cholesteric liquid crystals(CLCs).Under irradiation by 365 nm UV light,the resulting CLCs-Z-Switch underwent a Z-to-E configuration isomerization as CLCs-E-Switch,accompanied by a decrease in its dichroic order parameter(SFvalue)from 0.15to *** the quantum yield(QY)of CLCs-E-Switch increased from 8.1%(CLCs-Z-Switch)to 16.8%,the corresponding glumvalues of CPL emission decreased from+0.55/-0.57 to+0.37/-0.39 due to a decrease in the order of helical arrangement of E-Switch in E7 *** study enables photosensitive CLCs-Switch to be applied for optical information storage devices.

Enantiomeric molecules generally play distinct functions in chemistry,biology,and *** physical and chemical properties of chiral analytes lay difficulty in discrimination and quantification of the *** report herein an efficient approach of increasing the chiral sensing ability ofβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD),a widely used host molecule,in the hostguest chemistry by magnetic anisotropy.A rigid and chiral lanthanide binding tag was attached to theβ-CD to amplify the changes of nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)signals in the host-guest recognition *** installation of the paramagnetic lanthanide ion inβ-CD greatly enhances the enantiomeric discrimination up to 30-fold in comparison with the diamagneticβ-CD *** addition,the magnitude of the paramagnetic effects is tunable according to the diverse range of paramagnetic strength of the lanthanide *** reported method significantly increases the chiral sensing ability ofβ-CD,which can be applied to other host *** transferred paramagnetic effects,pseudocontact shifts(PCSs)and paramagnetic relaxation enhancements(PREs),from the host to the guest molecules,are valuable structural restraints to determine the absolute stereochemistry of the chiral *** strategy does not need modification of the analytes and is complementary to the reported analytical methods that rely on the functionalization of the chiral analytes.
