Intestinal failure-associated liver disease(IFALD)is a common complication of long-term parenteral nutrition that is associated with significant morbidity and *** is mainly characterized by cholestasis in children and steatohepatitis in ***,there is no effective approach to prevent or reverse the *** cell death(RCD)represents a fundamental biological paradigm that determines the outcome of a variety of liver *** cell death is reclassified into several types,based on the mechanisms and morphological *** evidence has linked different modes of RCD,such as apoptosis,necroptosis,ferroptosis,and pyroptosis to the pathogenesis of liver *** studies have shown that different modes of RCD are present in animal models and patients with *** the pathogenic roles of cell death may help uncover the underlying mechanisms and develop novel therapeutic strategies in *** this review,we discuss the current knowledge on how RCD may link to the pathogenesis of *** highlight examples of cell death-targeted interventions aiming to attenuate the disease,and provide perspectives for future basic and translational research in the field.

The two-way shape memory effect in a Ti-18.5Zr-10Nb-3.5Ta high-temperature shape memory alloy was investigated.X-ray diffraction measurem ent shows that the alloy is composed of orthorhombicα"-martensite.ωphase is not found in Ti-18.5Zr-10Nb-3.5Ta alloy due to the suppressing effect of Ta ***α"-martensite laths are found in the transmission electron microscope observation;after the bending deformation,there appear a lot of *** alloy exhibits a shape memory strain of 3.8%aud a high reverse martensite transformation start temperature of 464 *** maximum two-way shape memory strain of 1.2%is obtained in the alloy with the prebending training strain of 10%.The mechanism can be ascribed to the effect of internal stress field caused by dislocations.

U-Net has achieved good performance with the small-scale datasets through skip connections to merge the features of the low-level layers and high-level layers and has been widely utilized in biomedical image segmentation as well as recent microstructure image segregation of the *** representative visual attention mechanism modules,named as squeeze-and-excitation networks,convolutional block attention module,and extended calibration algorithm,were intro-duced into the traditional U-Net architecture to further improve the prediction *** is found that compared with the original U-Net architecture,the evaluation index of the improved U-Net architecture has been significantly improved for the microstructure segmentation of the steels with the ferrite/martensite composite microstructure and pearlite/ferrite composite microstructure and the complex martensite/austenite island/bainite microstructure,which demonstrates the advantages of the utilization of the visual attention mechanism in the microstructure *** reasons for the accuracy improvement were discussed based on the feature maps analysis.

For accurately identifying the distribution charac-teristic of Gaussian-like noises in unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)state estimation,this paper proposes a non-parametric scheme based on curve similarity *** the framework of the pro-posed scheme,a Parzen window(kernel density estimation,KDE)method on sliding window technology is applied for roughly esti-mating the sample probability density,a precise data probability density function(PDF)model is constructed with the least square method on K-fold cross validation,and the testing result based on evaluation method is obtained based on some data characteristic analyses of curve shape,abruptness and *** com-parison simulations with classical methods and UAV flight exper-iment shows that the proposed scheme has higher recognition accuracy than classical methods for some kinds of Gaussian-like data,which provides better reference for the design of Kalman filter(KF)in complex water environment.

●AIM:To evaluate the role of semaphorin 7A(Sema7A)and its associated regulatory mechanisms in modulating the barrier function of cultured human corneal epithelial cells(HCEs).●METHODS:Barrier models of HCEs were treated with recombinant human Sema7A at concentrations of 0,125,250,or 500 ng/mL for 24,48,or 72h in *** electrical resistance(TEER)as well as Dextran-fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)permeability assays were conducted to assess barrier *** quantify tight junctions(TJs)such as occludin and zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)at the mRNA level,reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)analysis was *** was used to examine the activity of the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway and the production of TJs *** analyses were employed to localize the ***-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and RT-PCR were utilized to observe changes in interleukin(IL)-1β*** investigate the role of NF-κB signaling activation and IL^(-1)βin Sema7A’s anti-barrier mechanism,we employed 0.1μmol/L IκB kinase 2(IKK2)inhibitor IV or 500 ng/mL IL^(-1)receptor(IL-1R)antagonist.●RESULTS:Treatment with Sema7A resulted in decreased TEER and increased permeability of Dextran-FITC in HCEs through down-regulating mRNA and protein levels of TJs in a time-and dose-dependent manner,as well as altering the localization of ***,Sema7A stimulated the activation of inhibitor of kappa B alpha(IκBα)and expression of IL-1β.The anti-barrier function of Sema7A was significantly suppressed by treatment with IKK2 inhibitor IV or IL-1R antagonists.●CONCLUSION:Sema7A disrupts barrier function through its influence on NF-κB-mediated expression of TJ proteins,as well as the expression of IL-1β.These findings suggest that Sema7A could be a potential therapeutic target for the diseases in corneal epithelium.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have been developed as an ideal platform for exploration of the relationship between intrinsic structure and catalytic activity,but the limited catalytic activity and stability has hampered their practical use in water ***,we develop a bond length adjustment strategy for optimizing naphthalene-based MOFs that synthesized by acid etching Co-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid-based MOFs(donated as AE-CoNDA)to serve as efficient catalyst for water ***-CoNDA exhibits a low overpotential of 260 mV to reach 10 mA cm^(−2)and a small Tafel slope of 62 mV dec^(−1)with excellent stability over 100 *** integrated AE-CoNDA onto BiVO_(4),photocurrent density of 4.3 mA cm^(−2)is achieved at 1.23 *** investigations demonstrate that the stretched Co-O bond length was found to optimize the orbitals hybridization of Co 3d and O 2p,which accounts for the fast kinetics and high *** calculations reveal that the stretched Co-O bond length strengthens the adsorption of oxygen-contained intermediates at the Co active sites for highly efficient water splitting.

This paper proposes a wideband cavity-backed slotted patch antenna, loaded with a magneto-electric（ME） dipole and fed by a microstrip line, for millimeter wave（mm-Wave） applications. The coupled-feed cavitybacked slotted patch antenna is loaded with the ME-dipole. The slotted patch antenna serves both as a radiator and a ground for the ME-dipole. The combination of the ME-dipole antenna and the slotted patch antenna realizes a-10d B impedance bandwidth covering over 22.86–44.35GHz（63.9%）. The pattern of the antenna element remains stable throughout this bandwidth. The proposed broadband antenna unit not only realizes single linearly polarized（LP）radiation but also can be designed for dual-LP radiation. The dual-polarized radiation can be achieved by changing the slot of the patch antenna to a crossed slot and altering the ME-dipole antenna to a dual-polarization form. A 2×2dual-polarized array has been designed, fabricated, and tested. A novel dual-polarized feeding network is *** achieve higher isolation, broadband in-phase feed and differential feed are adopted, respectively. A low-loss single to the differential structure is proposed for differential feeding. The simulated isolation of the array is higher than 40d B. It remains an urgent task to develop alternative hole-transporting layer(HTL)materials beyond commonly used PEDOT:PSS to increase the shelf-life of organic solar cells(OSCs).Inorganic metal oxide type materials,such as NiO_(x),CoO_(x)and VO_(x),with suitable work functions have attracted numerous research attention *** this work,more abundant and easily accessible oxygenated salt,vanadyl sulfate(VOSO_(4))has been demonstrated to be excellent choice as HTL for *** VOSO_(4)-based HTL can be readily processed by spin-coating from the precursor solution with subsequent thermal annealing and UVO *** a consequence,a high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 18.72%can be achieved for PM8:L8-BO based OSCs with the VOSO_(4)-based *** transmittance,smooth film surface,suitable energy level and high conductivity were revealed to contribute to the high OSC *** importantly,compared to device with PEDOT:PSS,VOSO_(4)-based OSCs exhibit improved stability when stored in the N_(2)filled glove *** being stored for 600 h,VOSO_(4)-based device can retain 89%of its initial ***,VOSO_(4)can be used as general HTL in PM6:BTP-BO-4Cl and PM6:IT-4F based OSCs,yielding high PCEs of 17.87%and 13.85%,respectively.

Chinese shadow puppetry has been recognized as a world intangible cultural ***,it faces substantial challenges in its preservation and advancement due to the intricate and labor-intensive nature of crafting shadow *** ensure the inheritance and development of this cultural heritage,it is imperative to enable traditional art to flourish in the digital *** paper presents an Interactive Collaborative Creation System for shadow puppets,designed to facilitate the creation of high-quality shadow puppet images with greater *** system comprises four key functions:Image contour extraction,intelligent reference recommendation,generation network,and color adjustment,all aimed at assisting users in various aspects of the creative process,including drawing,inspiration,and content ***,we propose an enhanced algorithm called Smooth Generative Adversarial Networks(SmoothGAN),which exhibits more stable gradient training and a greater capacity for generating high-resolution shadow puppet ***,we have built a new dataset comprising high-quality shadow puppet images to train the shadow puppet generation *** qualitative and quantitative experimental results demonstrate that SmoothGAN significantly improves the quality of image generation,while our system efficiently assists users in creating high-quality shadow puppet images,with a SUS scale score of *** study provides a valuable theoretical and practical reference for the digital creation of shadow puppet art.
