It has been shown clinically that continuous removal of ischemia/reperfusion-induced reactive oxygen species is not conducive to the recovery of late ***,previous studies have shown that excessive increases in hypochlorous acid after stroke can cause severe damage to brain *** previous studies have found that a small amount of hypochlorous acid still exists in the later stage of stroke,but its specific role and mechanism are currently *** simulate stroke in vivo,a middle cerebral artery occlusion rat model was established,with an oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation model established in vitro to mimic *** found that in the early stage(within 24 hours)of ischemic stroke,neutrophils produced a large amount of hypochlorous acid,while in the recovery phase(10 days after stroke),microglia were activated and produced a small amount of hypochlorous ***,in acute stroke in rats,hypochlorous acid production was prevented using a hypochlorous acid scavenger,taurine,or myeloperoxidase inhibitor,4-aminobenzoic acid *** results showed that high levels of hypochlorous acid(200μM)induced neuronal apoptosis after oxygen/glucose deprivation/***,in the recovery phase of the middle cerebral artery occlusion model,a moderate level of hypochlorous acid promoted the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells into neurons and *** suggests that hypochlorous acid plays different roles at different phases of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** levels of hypochlorous acid(5 and 100μM)promoted nuclear translocation ofβ-*** transfection of single-site mutation plasmids,we found that hypochlorous acid induced chlorination of theβ-catenin tyrosine 30 residue,which promoted nuclear ***,our study indicates that maintaining low levels of hypochlorous acid plays a key role in the recovery of neurological function.

Physicochemical characterization of commercial Pt/C and PtRu/C catalysts was carried out by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. Comparative studies of methanol electrooxidation on carbon supported Pt and PtRu catalysts in acid solution were performed by means of an electrochemical method. The experimental results showed that PtRu/C not only had a higher electrocatalytic activity for the electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol than Pt/C, but also for the electrocatalytic oxidation of adsorbed CO. Alloy formation of Ru with Pt modified not only the characteristics of H2 adsorption on the surface of catalyst but also the characteristics of CO adsorption on the sur face of catalyst. The interaction of CHaOH with Ru was a temperature-activated process requiring elevated temperature.

This paper investigates the coverage control problem on a circle with unknown terrain roughness and nonuniform time-varying communication delays. Adaptive coverage control laws are proposed for mobile sensors to collaboratively estimate the unknown roughness function using the basis function approximation approach. Moreover, contrary to existing studies, nonuniform time-varying communication delays are considered in this paper. Under the proposed adaptive coverage control laws, the sensor network can be driven to its optimal configuration minimizing the coverage cost function in the presence of nonuniform communication delays, and each sensor can learn the true roughness function. Finally, a simulation example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control laws.

In target tracking applications,the Doppler measurement contains information of the target range rate,which has the potential capability to improve the tracking ***,the nonlinear degree between the measurement and the target state increases with the introduction of the Doppler ***,target tracking in the Doppler radar is a nonlinear filtering *** order to handle this problem,the Kalman filter form of best linear unbiased estimation(BLUE)with position measurements is proposed,which is combined with the sequential filtering algorithm to handle the Doppler measurement further,where the statistic characteristic of the converted measurement error is calculated based on the predicted information in the sequential ***,the algorithm is extended to the maneuvering target tracking case,where the interacting multiple model(IMM)algorithm is used as the basic framework and the model probabilities are updated according to the BLUE position filter and the sequential filter,and the final estimation is a weighted sum of the outputs from the sequential filters and the model *** results show that compared with existing approaches,the proposed algorithm can realize target tracking with preferable tracking precision and the extended method can achieve effective maneuvering target tracking.

In order to study the correlation between the internal flow noise of the centrifugal pump and the turbulent pressure pulsation,a single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump was used as the research object by the combination of numerical calculation and *** on the RNG k-?model and the N-S equation,the model pump was simulated numerically by CFD.A dipole sound source was extracted by the turbulent pulse action of the volute wall surface according to the FW-H *** acoustic field of the model pump was solved on the basis of the boundary element method,and the sound pressure distribution of the internal flow field under the action of the dipole sound source of the volute wall and the frequency response of the inlet and outlet fields were *** results show that the distribution of hydrodynamic noise inside the centrifugal pump is related to the pressure pulsation,presenting obvious dipole distribution and disturbance at the *** sound pressure value of the field is mainly concentrated in the blade passing frequency and double frequency,in which the blade passing frequency is the strongest,and the sound pressure value decreases obviously under other double *** main frequency of hydrodynamic noise is the blade passing frequency.

This paper presents an interpolating element-free Galerkin(IEFG) method for solving the two-dimensional(2D) elastic large deformation problems. By using the improved interpolating moving least-squares method to form shape function, and using the Galerkin weak form of 2D elastic large deformation problems to obtain the discrete equations, we obtain the formulae of the IEFG method for 2D elastic large deformation problems. As the displacement boundary conditions can be applied directly, the IEFG method can acquire higher computational efficiency and accuracy than the traditional element-free Galerkin(EFG)method, which is based on the moving least-squares approximation and can not apply the displacement boundary conditions directly. To analyze the influences of node distribution, scale parameter of influence domain and the loading step on the numerical solutions of the IEFG method, three numerical examples are proposed. The IEFG method has almost the same high accuracy as the EFG method, and for some 2D elastic large deformation problems the IEFG method even has higher computational accuracy.

Health indicator(HI)construction is a crucial task in degradation evaluation and facilitates the prognostic and health management(PHM)of rotating *** interference from artificial labeling,the HI construction approaches in an unsupervised manner have attracted substantial ***,current unsupervised methods generally struggle with two problems:(1)ignorance of both redundancy between features and global variability of features during the feature selection process;(2)inadequate utilization of information from different sampling *** tackle these problems,this work develops a novel unsupervised approach for HI construction that integrates multi-criterion feature selection and the Attentive Variational Autoencoder(Attentive VAE).Explicitly,a multi-criterion feature selection(Mc FS)algorithm together with an elaborately designed metric is proposed to determine a superior feature subset,considering the relevance,the redundancy,and the global variability of features ***,for the adequate utilization of the information from distinct sampling moments,a deep learning model named Attentive VAE is *** Attentive VAE is solely fed with the selected features in the health state for model training and the HI is derived through the reconstruction error to reveal the degradation degree of *** case studies based on genuine experimental datasets are involved to quantitatively evaluate the superiority of the developed approach,demonstrating its superiority over other unsupervised methods for characterizing degradation *** effectiveness of both the Mc FS algorithm and the Attentive VAE is verified by ablation experiments,respectively.

To the Editor:Worldwide,approximately 400 million patients have chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection[1].Because of the high incidence of HBV in China,the incidence of HBV infection in uremia and kidney transplantation(KTx)patients is 2.5%and 2.7%,respectively[2].Since the first successful organ transplant conducted between twins in 1954,refined surgical techniques,improved immunosuppressive protocols,and improved perioperative management of transplant patients have resulted in improved patient and graft survivals following K Tx[3].However,the K Tx community is now challenged with liver failure due to the increased risk of HBV viral activation and replication induced by immunosuppressive *** et al.[4]highlighted that KTx recipients with HBV infection had lower 5-year survival(61%)than patients on dialysis(85%).Although these KTx recipients were treated with regular anti-HBV therapy,the incidence of liver failure was increased in KTx patients with HBV ***,isolated liver transplantation(LTx),sequential liver and kidney transplantation(SLKT),and combined liver and kidney transplantation(CLKT)are the optimal treatments for patients with liver failure and hepatorenal syndrome[5].However,the outcomes of KTx recipients following isolated LTx,SLKT or CLKT for HBV-associated liver failure remain to be ***,we report our experience in ten HBV-positive KTx recipients with liver failure undergoing LTx.
