Acupoint Selection Standards of Auricular Therapy in the Treatment of Maintenance Hemodialysis Insomnia Based on Data Mining

Background:Insomnia is a high-incidence complication in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis(MHD).Auricular therapy can effectively improve sleep with few adverse effects.Acupoint selection affects the impact of auricular therapy.However,there is currently a lack of analysis on the standards of acupoint selection.Our study used data mining technology to investigate the acupoint selection principles and characteristics of auricular therapy for the treatment of MHD-related insomnia.Objective:The objective of the study is to explore the standards of acupoint selection in auricular therapy for the treatment of MHD-related insomnia through data mining technology.Materials and Methods:We searched three English(PubMed,WOS,and Embase)and four Chinese(CNKI,VIP,wangfang,and CBM)databases for studies on auricular therapy for MHD-related insomnia from self-establishment to November 14,2022.Results:Eighty-one publications were involved,which included 33 acupoints.The most common auricular points in patients with MHD-related insomnia were the Shenmen,heart,and kidney points.More applications involved the visceral,nervous system,and specific acupoints.Five effective clusters and two clusters were obtained through cluster analysis,including specific auricular points for insomnia,such as the multi-dream area,neurasthenia area,deep sleep point,and anterior ear lobe.Complex network analysis showed that the core auricular acupoint combinations for the intervention of MHD-related insomnia were Shenmen with kidney,Shenmen with heart,heart with kidney,heart with Shenmen,and heart and Shenmen with subcortex.Conclusions:The selection of auricular points for the treatment of MHD-related insomnia was guided by the heart theory of traditional Chinese medicine.Clinical treatment attaches importance to the use of the multi-dream area,neurasthenia area,and other acupoints.

Determining an optimal control strategy for anthropogenic VOC emissions in China based on source emissions and reactivity

An evidence-based control strategy for emission reduction of VOC sources can effectively solve the regional PM2.5and O3compound pollution in China.We estimated the anthropogenic VOC emission inventory in China in 2018 and established a source profile database containing 129 sources based on localized detection and the latest research results.Then,the distribution of the ozone formation potential(OFP)and secondary organic aerosol formation potential(SOAFP)for emission sources was analyzed.Moreover,priority control routes for VOC emission sources were proposed for different periods.Anthropogenic VOC emissions in China reached 27,211.8 Gg in 2018,and small passenger cars,industrial protective coatings,biomass burning,heavy trucks,printing,asphalt paving,oil storage and transportation,coking,and oil refining were the main contributors.Industrial protective coatings,small passenger cars,and biomass burning all contributed significantly to OFP and SOAFP.Priority in emission reduction control should be given to industrial protective coatings,small passenger cars,heavy trucks,coking,printing,asphalt paving,chemical fibers,and basic organic chemical sources over the medium and long term in China.In addition,the priority control route for VOC emission sources should be adjusted according to the variations in VOC emission characteristics and regional differences,so as to obtain the maximum environmental benefits.

Effect of Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio and CaO content on viscosity and structure of slag for pyrometallurgical processing of spent automotive catalysts

The effect of Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio and CaO content on the viscosity and structure of the CaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-6MgO-1.5ZrO_(2)-1.5CeO_(2) slag was investigated.The results show that with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio,the viscous flow units within the slag gradually change from Si-O-Si to Al-O-Al and Al-O-Si.Furthermore,the substitution of Al_(2)O_(3) for SiO_(2) leads to the transformation of Si-O bonds towards weaker Al-O bonds,which weaken the bond strength of the aluminosilicate networks,thus leading to a decrease in the viscosity of slag.The increase in CaO content effectively promotes the depolymerization of the aluminosilicate networks,resulting in a significant decrease in the viscosity of the slag.The slag with Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) of 0.7-1.5 and CaO of 30 wt.%shows promise as the reference slag system for the Fe-collection smelting of spent automotive catalysts due to its good comprehensive performance.

Pressure transient characteristics of non-uniform conductivity fractured wells in viscoelasticity polymer flooding based on oil-water two-phase flow

Polymer flooding in fractured wells has been extensively applied in oilfields to enhance oil recovery.In contrast to water,polymer solution exhibits non-Newtonian and nonlinear behavior such as effects of shear thinning and shear thickening,polymer convection,diffusion,adsorption retention,inaccessible pore volume and reduced effective permeability.Meanwhile,the flux density and fracture conductivity along the hydraulic fracture are generally non-uniform due to the effects of pressure distribution,formation damage,and proppant breakage.In this paper,we present an oil-water two-phase flow model that captures these complex non-Newtonian and nonlinear behavior,and non-uniform fracture characteristics in fractured polymer flooding.The hydraulic fracture is firstly divided into two parts:high-conductivity fracture near the wellbore and low-conductivity fracture in the far-wellbore section.A hybrid grid system,including perpendicular bisection(PEBI)and Cartesian grid,is applied to discrete the partial differential flow equations,and the local grid refinement method is applied in the near-wellbore region to accurately calculate the pressure distribution and shear rate of polymer solution.The combination of polymer behavior characterizations and numerical flow simulations are applied,resulting in the calculation for the distribution of water saturation,polymer concentration and reservoir pressure.Compared with the polymer flooding well with uniform fracture conductivity,this non-uniform fracture conductivity model exhibits the larger pressure difference,and the shorter bilinear flow period due to the decrease of fracture flow ability in the far-wellbore section.The field case of the fall-off test demonstrates that the proposed method characterizes fracture characteristics more accurately,and yields fracture half-lengths that better match engineering reality,enabling a quantitative segmented characterization of the near-wellbore section with high fracture conductivity and the far-wellbore section with low fracture conduct

The Mass Assembly History for Galaxies with MaNGA

How galaxies assemble masses through their own star formation or interaction with the external environment is still an important topic in the field of galaxy formation and evolution.We use Value Added Catalogs with galaxy features that are spatially and temporally resolved from Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 17 to investigate the mass growth histories of early-type galaxies(ETGs)and late-type galaxies(LTGs).We find that the mass growth of ETGs is earlier than that of LTGs for massive galaxies(M_(*)>10^(10)M_⊙),while low-mass(M_(*)≤10^(10)M_⊙)ETGs have statistically similar mass assembly histories as low-mass LTGs.The stellar metallicity of all massive galaxies shows a negative gradient and basically does not change with time.However,in low-mass galaxies,the stellar metallicity gradient of elliptical galaxies is negative,and the stellar metallicity gradient of lenticular and spiral galaxies evolves from positive to negative.ETGs are not all in a high-density environment,but exhibit mass dependence.As the tidal strength increases,the star formation rate of low-mass ETGs rapidly decreases.These results support a picture where massive galaxies exhibit inside-out quenching mode,while low-mass galaxies show outside-in quenching mode.Environmental effects play an important role in regulating the mass assembly histories of low-mass ETGs.

Effect of neodymium doping on structure,magnetic properties and microwave absorption performance of SrMnO_(3)

A simple composite Sr_(1-x)Nd_(x)MnO_(3)(x=0,0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2) nano powders were successfully prepared by the sol-gel method as a light-weight broadband electromagnetic wave absorber.The effect of Nd^(3+)doping on the structure,microstructure and properties of SrMnO_(3) was investigated.It is found that with the doping of Nd^(3+),the space group of the SrMnO_(3) changes from p63/mmc to pm3m,and the crystalline shape starts to change from hexagonal to cubic crystalline.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) tests confirm that the particle sizes of the sample decrease and the specific surface area increases,which are attributed to the inhibition of grain growth after Nd^(3+)is doped.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) shows that after Nd^(3+)doping,the content of oxygen vacancy increases,and Mn^(4+) converts to Mn^(3+).Due to the defects of the materials,the polarization effect is enhanced,thus,the dielectric and magnetic properties of the doped samples are improved.The maximum reflection loss of the Sr_(0.85)Nd_(0.15)MnO_(3) is-33.41 dB at 7.84 GHz for a thickness of 2.4 mm,while Sr_(0.9)Nd_(0.1)MnO_(3) has the best bandwidth performance at 2.32 GHz with a reflection loss below-10dB.

Interface Design Strategy for GNS/AZ91 Composites with Semi-Coherent Structure

The interfacial structure plays an important role in the mechanical properties of magnesium matrix composite(MMCs)reinforced with graphene nanosheet(GNS)due to their poor wettability with the Mg matrix.An interface design strategy was proposed to form the semi-coherent interfacial structure with superior bonding strength.The lattice mismatch and interfacial bonding strength between Mg/rare earth oxide/carbon were utilized as key characteristics to evaluate the interfacial structure.Lanthanum oxide(La2O3)was selected as the intermediate candidate due to its low lattice mismatch and high interfacial bonding strength.To identify the interfacial structure of Mg/La2O3/graphene,first-principles calculations were conducted to calculate the ideal work of separation and electronic structure of the interfaces.Results demonstrated the presence of strong ionic and covalent interactions at the interface,which theoretically verified the strong interfacial bonding strength among Mg/La2O3/graphene interfaces.To experimentally validate the interface strength,MMCs with the interface structure of Mg/La2O3/GNS were developed.The formation of in-situ La2O3 led to the successful attainment of semi-coherent structures between Mg/La2O3 and La2O3/GNS,resulting in high strength and good ductility of the composite.Overall,this work proposes a new approach to interface design in MMCs with an enhancement of mechanical properties.

Evolution of interfacial heat transfer,contact behavior and microstructure during sub-rapid solidification of molten steel with different hydrogen contents

Typical Q235 low-carbon steel samples with different hydrogen contents(0.0004,0.0008,and 0.0013 wt.%)were prepared by adjusting the environment humidity and moisture.The effects of hydrogen on interfacial heat transfer,contact behavior,and microstructure evolution were investigated using a novel droplet solidification technique.The results revealed that when the hydrogen content increases from 0.0004 to 0.0013 wt.%,the maximum heat flux between the molten steel and cooling substrate decreases from 8.01 to 6.19 MW/m^(2),and the total heat removed in the initial 2 s reduces from 10.30 to 8.27 MJ/m^(2).Moreover,the final contact angle between the molten steel and substrate increases from 103.741°to 113.697°,and the number of pores on the droplet bottom surface increases significantly from 21 to 210 with the increase in hydrogen.The surface roughness of the droplet bottom surface increases from 20.902 to 49.181 pm.In addition,the average grain size of the droplet increases from 14.778 to 33.548 pm with the increase in the hydrogen content.The interfacial contact condition becomes worse due to the escape of hydrogen from the steel matrix during the cooling process,which leads to the reduction in the interfacial heat transfer and the increase in the grain size.

Structure regulating of metal clusters in carbonized metallic organic frameworks for high-efficient microwave absorption via tuning interaction strength between metals and ligands

Carbonized metallic organic frameworks(CMOF)have been attracting attention in microwave absorption(MA)research area because of their diverse structures,tunable compositions,and rich porosity.Herein,structure regulation on metal clusters in CMOF is achieved by tuning the interaction strength between metals and ligands to enhance microwave absorption performance.Due to relatively weak interaction among copper cations and ligands,copper nanoclusters(CuNC)can be uniformly formed and embedded within the cobalt/zinc(Co/Zn)CMOF.Firstly,copper cations are added to the Co/Zn bimetallic zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs).Secondly,the CMOF composite particles with CuNCs(CuNCs/CoZn-CMOF)were developed by a pyrolysis process.The CuNCs/CoZn-CMOF with an appropriate amount of CuNCs can harmonize both dielectric and magnetic losses.As a result,the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)reaches–45.1 dB at a matching thickness of 2.30 mm and the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)is 8.80 GHz at a thickness of 3.10 mm.The broadband response to electromagnetic waves is attributed to interfacial polarization at CuNCs surface and heterogeneous interfaces,impedance matching and multiple scattering of electromagnetic waves.This study provides a feasible method to develop CMOF microwave absorption materials with high EAB values.
