The Permian is an important period for the deposition of siliceous rocks on a global scale,but the genesis of chert is still *** better understand the mechanism of chert nodules deposition from Qixia Formation(P1q)(Lower Yangtze Plate,China),we analyzed the major,trace and rare earth elements of these chert nodule samples(CN)and surrounding rock samples(SR)using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry(ICPMS)and X-ray fluorescence(XRF)*** redox state,siliceous sources and depositional environment analysis show that CN have higher contents of SiO2,Fe2O3 and MnO comparing with SR,and their geochemical properties are *** and rare earth elements characteristics reveal that nodules were deposited under the action of biochemistry in the basin,no terrigenous materials contamination was observed and the contribution of upwelling was *** Al/(Al+Fe+Mn),Fe/Ti and Al-Fe-Mn discrimination diagram indicated the chert nodules are influenced by hydrothermal *** from redox-sensitive elements such as Th,U,V and Sc suggests that nodules were deposited in a reducing *** the convective mixing of hydrothermal action and normal seawater,excessive dissolved silicon and nutrients are absorbed and precipitated by biological action,and then transported by upwelling to shallow water for *** the evidence comes from the trace elements enrichment characters,Rare earth elements and Y(REY)distribution patterns and La/La^(*),Ce/Ce^(*),Eu/Eu^(*),LREE/HREE,Y/Ho and∑REE characteristics.

Recently,the utilization of transcatheter aortic valve implantation(TAVI)has gained increasing prevalence due to its expanding range of applications in managing symptomatic severe aortic stenosis(AS).Coronary obstruction,a life-threatening complication,has been reported to occur during and after TAVI at an incidence rate of 0.5%-1%.^([1])In addition to shallow sinus of Valsalva(less than 30 mm),low coronary take-off(below 12 mm from annulus plane),and calcification of native valve leaflets over the coronary ostium,anomalous origins of coronary arteries and compression from expanded transcatheter heart valve have been shown to cause TAVI-associated coronary occlusion.

Structural-acoustic optimization of stiffened panels based on a genetic algorithm

For the structural-acoustic radiation optimization problem under external loading,acoustic radiation power was considered to be an objective function in the optimization method. The finite element method(FEM) and boundary element method(BEM) were adopted in numerical calculations,and structural response and the acoustic response were assumed to be de-coupled in the analysis. A genetic algorithm was used as the strategy in optimization. In order to build the relational expression of the pressure objective function and the power objective function,the enveloping surface model was used to evaluate pressure in the acoustic domain. By taking the stiffened panel structural-acoustic optimization problem as an example,the acoustic power and field pressure after optimized was compared. Optimization results prove that this method is reasonable and effective.

This paper focuses on the quadratic nonfragile filtering problem for linear non-Gaussian systems under multiplicative noises,multiple missing measurements as well as the dynamic event-triggered transmission *** multiple missing measurements are characterized through random variables that obey some given probability distributions,and thresholds of the dynamic event-triggered scheme can be adjusted dynamically via an auxiliary *** attention is concentrated on designing a dynamic event-triggered quadratic nonfragile filter in the well-known minimum-variance *** this end,the original system is first augmented by stacking its state/measurement vectors together with second-order Kronecker powers,thus the original design issue is reformulated as that of the augmented ***,we analyze statistical properties of augmented noises as well as high-order moments of certain random *** the aid of two well-defined matrix difference equations,we not only obtain upper bounds on filtering error covariances,but also minimize those bounds via carefully designing gain ***,an example is presented to explain the effectiveness of this newly established quadratic filtering algorithm.

A global perspective on microbial risk factors in effluents of wastewater treatment plants

Effective monitoring and management of microbial risk factors in wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)effluents require a comprehensive investigation of these risks.A global survey on microbial risk factors in WWTP effluents could reveal important insights into their risk *** study aims to explore the abundance and types of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs),virulence factor genes(VFGs),the vector of ARG/VFG,and dominant pathogens in global WWTP *** collected 113 metagenomes of WWTP effluents from the Sequence Read Archive of the National Center for Biotechnology Information and characterized the microbial risk *** results showed that multidrug resistance was the dominant ARG type,while offensive virulence factors were the most abundant type of *** most dominant types of ARGs in the vector of plasmid and phage were both aminoglycoside resistance,which is concerning as aminoglycosides are often a last resort for treating multi-resistant *** baumannii was the most dominant pathogen,rather than Escherichia coli,and a weak negative correlation between Escherichia coli and two other dominant pathogens(Acinetobacter baumannii and Bacteroides uniformis)suggests that using Escherichia coli as a biological indicator for all pathogens in WWTP effluents may not be *** Getah virus was the most dominant virus found in global WWTP *** study presents a comprehensive global-scale investigation of microbial risk factors in WWTP effluents,providing valuable insights into the potential risks associated with WWTP effluents and contributing to the monitoring and control of these risks.

Creep constitutive model considering nonlinear creep degradation of fractured rock

Stability analysis of underground constructions requires a model study of rock masses’ long-term performance. Creep tests under different stress conditions was conducted on intact granite and granite samples fractured at 30° and 45° angles. The experimental results indicate that the steady creep strain rates of intact and fractured rock present an exponential increase trend with the increase of stress level. A nonlinear creep model is developed based on the experimental results, in which the initial damage caused by fracture together with the damage caused by constant load have been taken into consideration. The fitting analysis results indicated that the model proposed is more accurate at identifying the full creep regions in fractured granite, especially the accelerated stage of creep deformation. The least-square fit error of the proposed creep model is significantly lower than that of Nishihara model by almost an order of magnitude. An analysis of the effects of elastic modulus, viscosity coefficient, and damage factors on fractured rock strain rate and creep strain is conducted. If no consideration is given to the effects of the damage, the proposed nonlinear creep model can degenerate into to the classical Nishihara model.
