Tests of preoperative visual function and prediction of postoperative E chart visual acuity(ECVA) using laser interferometric visual acuity(LIVA) and electroretinogram(ERG) were performed in 16 cases(19 eyes) of cataract. The results showed that the coincident rate between preoperative LIVA and postoperative ECVA was 63.2%, and there was a parallel correlation between preoperative amplitude of photopic ERG b-wave and postoperative ECVA in 79.0% of the eyes. Using optical visual aids, visual rehabilitation was performed in 14 low vision patients(25 eyes) with age-related macular degeneration. With distance aids, visual acuity improvement appeared in 24 eyes(95%) out of the 25 eyes. Twelve eyes(48%) obtained a visual acuity equal to or better than 0.4. Both kinetic and static visual fields and visual evoked potential （VEP） were tested in 52 patients with maculopathies and in 29 patients with axial optic neuropathies. The results of central static quantitative perimetry and pattern reversal VEP were compared. The amplitude and latency of P100were correlated with the total loss of central visual threshold in maculopathies. While the P100 latency was not correlated with the total loss of the central visual threshold in neuropathies, their latency delay was more obvious than that in maculopathies. We arrived at the conclusion that both VEP and visual field are necessary for assessing function loss and reflecting different pathological mechanisms in macular and optic nerve diseases.

Microcomputer technique is put into use in ophthalmological clinical visual function examination. In visual EOG, ENG, visual tracking, contrast sensitivity and VEP examination, objectifying and standardization of experiment and data analysis are achieved by computer technique. In addition, a lot of manpower and time is saved, test results are obtained faster and more accurately. The basic rational of computerization in clinical visual function examination is presented.

Extracellular vesicles(EVs)have recently emerged as a promising delivery platform for CRISPR/Cas9 ribonucleoproteins(RNPs),owing to their ability to minimize off-target effects and immune ***,enhancements are required to boost the efficiency and safety of Cas9 RNP enrichment within *** response,we employed the Fc/Spa interaction system,in which the human Fc domain was fused to the intracellular domain of PTGFRN-Δ687 and anchored to the EV ***,the B domain of the Spa protein was fused to the C domain of cargos such as Cre or *** to the robust interaction between Fc and Spa,this method enriched nearly twice the amount of cargo within the *** loaded with spCas9 RNP targeting the HSV1 genome exhibited significant inhibition of viral replication in vitro and in ***,following neuron-targeting peptide RVG modification,the in vivo dosage in neural tissues substantially increased,contributing to the clearance of the HSV1 virus in neural tissues and exhibiting a lower off-target *** findings establish a robust platform for efficient EV-based SpCas9 delivery,offering potential therapeutic advantages for HSV1 infections and other neurological disorders.
