Flexible,breathable,and highly sensitive pressure sensors have increasingly become a focal point of interest due to their pivotal role in healthcare monitoring,advanced electronic skin applications,and disease ***,traditional methods,involving elastomer film-based substrates or encapsulation techniques,often fall short due to mechanical mismatches,discomfort,lack of breathability,and limitations in sensing ***,there is a pressing need,yet it remains a significant challenge to create pressure sensors that are not only highly breathable,flexible,and comfortable but also sensitive,durable,and ***,we present a biocompatible and breathable fabric-based pressure sensor,using nonwoven fabrics as both the sensing electrode(coated with mXene/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrene sulfonate[PEDOT:Pss])and the interdigitated electrode(printed with mXene pattern)via a scalable spray-coating and screen-coating *** resultant device exhibits commendable air permeability,biocompatibility,and pressure sensing performance,including a remarkable sensitivity(754.5 kPa^(−1)),rapid response/recovery time(180/110 ms),and robust cycling ***,the integration of PEDOT:Pss plays a crucial role in protecting the mXene nanosheets from oxidation,significantly enhancing the device's long-term *** outstanding features make this sensor highly suitable for applications in fullrange human activities detection and disease *** study underscores the promising future of flexible pressure sensors in the realm of intelligent wearable electronics,setting a new benchmark for the industry.

Human influence on the duration of extreme temperature events in Asia's hotspot regions

Observations and models indicate that human activities exert a considerable impact on the frequency and intensity of extreme temperature events,which are associated with global ***,changes in the duration of extreme temperature events and their association with human influence have not been considered in most ***,the possible relationship between the observed changes in the warm and cold spell duration(WsDI and csDI)in hotspot regions during 1960-2014 and human influence was investigated based on the NcEP/NcAr reanalysis version 1 and coupled model Inter-comparison Project Phase 6(cmIP6)*** projection based on these attribution results was also *** optimal fingerprinting technique was used to compare observed changes in WsDI and csDI to simulated changes averaged across eight cmIP6 *** show that anthropogenic(ANT)forcing contributed to the observed increase in WsDI in the three hotspot regions(West Asia,south Asia and southeast Asia),with the majority of the changes being attributed to greenhouse gas ***,a generally weak ANT signal can be observed in the decreasing trend of csDI and can be detected in south and southeast *** influence of aerosol forcing remains undetected in either WsDI or csDI,which differs from the results for frequency and intensity of extreme *** attribution results revealed that the constrained projection of WsDI is lower than the raw projection for 2015-2100 in West Asia and southeast ***,no differences in future csDI changes are found in southeast Asia between the constrained and raw projections.

Polyethylene interfacial dielectric layer for organic semiconductor single crystal based field-effect transistors

Organic semiconductor single crystals(Osscs) have shown their promising potential in high-performance organic field-effect transistors(OFETs). The interfacial dielectric layers are critical in these OFETs as they not only govern the key semiconductor/dielectric interface quality but also determine the growth of Osscs by their wetting properties. However, reported interfacial dielectric layers either need rigorous preparation processes, rely on certain surface chemistry reactions, or exhibit poor solvent resistance, which limits their applications in low-cost, large-area, monolithic fabrication of Ossc-based OFETs. In this work, polyethylene(PE) thin films and lamellar single crystals are utilized as the interfacial dielectric layers, providing solvent resistive but wettable surfaces that facilitate the crystallization of 6,13-bis(tri-isopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene(TIPs-PEN) and 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)-5,7,12,14-tetraazapentacene(TIPs-TAP). As evidenced by the presence of ambipolar behavior in TIPs-PEN single crystals and the high electron mobility(2.3 ± 0.34 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1)) in TIPs-TAP single crystals, a general improvement on electron transport with PE interfacial dielectric layers is revealed, which likely associates with the chemically inertness of the saturated c-H bonds. With the advantages in both processing and device operation, the PE interfacial dielectric layer potentially offers a monolithic way for the enhancement of electron transport in solution-processed Ossc-based OFETs.

cross-linked Electrospun Gel Polymer Electrolytes for lithium-Ion Batteries

lithium-ion batteries(liBs)benefit from an effective electrolyte system design in both terms of their safety and energy storage ***,a series of precursor membranes with high porosity were produced using electrospinning technology by mixing PVDF and triblock copolymer(Ps-PEO-Ps),resulting in a porous structure with good interconnections,which facilitates the absorbency of a large amount of electrolyte and further increases the ionic conductivity of gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs).It has been demonstrated that post-cross-linking of the precursor membranes increa ses the rigidity of the nanofibers,which allows the polymer film to be dimensionally sta ble up to 260℃while maintaining superior electrochemical *** obtained cross-linked GPEs(cGPEs)showed high ionic conductivity up to 4.53×10^(-3)s·cm^(-1).With the cGPE-25,the assembled li/liFeP04 half cells exhibited good rate capability and maintained a capacity of 99.4%and a coulombic efficiency of99.3%at 0.1 *** results suggest that the combination of electrospinning technique and post-cross-linking is an effective method to construct polymer electrolytes with high thermal stability and steadily decent electrochemical performance,particularly useful for lithium-ion battery applications that require high-temperature usage.

Effectiveness of Acupoint Application in Patients with Pharyngeal Pain: Evidence from cHUNBO, A Prospective real-World study

Objective: To assess the outcomes after acupoint application in patients with pharyngeal pain in a real-world settings, and analyze the characteristics of effective population and prescription characteristics of acupoint application. methods: Based on cHUNBO platform, patients with pharyngeal pain who were candidates for acupoint application on the basis of physician-evaluation, were enrolled in a nationwide, prospective, 69-week multicenter observational study from August 2020 to February 2022. Propensity score matching(Psm) was used to match the confounding factors and the association rules were used to analyze the characteristics of effective population and prescription characteristics of acupoint application. Outcome assessments included the disappearance rate of pharyngeal pain(within 3, 7, and 14 days), disappearance time of pharyngeal pain, as well as adverse events. results: Of 7,699 enrolled participants, 6,693(86.9%) received acupoint application and 1,450(21.7%) with non-acupoint application. After Psm, there were 1,004 patients each in the application group(AG) and non-application group(NAG). The disappearance rate of pharyngeal pain in the AG at 3, 7, and 14 days were all higher than those in the NAG(Psappearance time of pharyngeal pain in the AG were shorter than that in the NAG(logrank Prd ratio=1.51, 95% confidence interval: 1.41–1.63). The median age of effective cases was 4 years, mainly 3–6 years old(40.21%). The disappearance rate of pharyngeal pain in the application group with tonsil diseases was 2.19 times higher than that in the NAG(Pcommonly used acupoints for the effective cases were Tiantu(rN 22), shenque(rN 8) and Dazhui(DU 14). The commonly used herbs for the effective cases were Natrii sulfas, radix et rhizoma rhei, and Herba Ephedrae. Among them, Natrii sulfas was applied to rN 8 most frequently(support 84.39%).
