F-2 toxin is an estrogenic mycotoxin that causes reproductive disorders in *** acid(BA)is a natural pentacyclic lupane-structure triterpenoid that has diverse pharmacological *** this study,the antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects of BA and its underlying mechanism are explored in F-2 toxin-triggered mouse ovarian *** found that BA alleviated the F-2 toxin-induced ovarian impairment by stimulating follicle growth,reducing inflammatory cell infiltration,repairing damaged mitochondria and endoplasmic ***,BA not only reversed F-2 toxin-induced reduction of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)levels in the serum,but also restrained the protein expression of the estrogen receptors a(ERa)and ERβ.Moreover,BA restored the balance of F-2 toxin-induced ovarian redox system ***,we found that 0.25 mg/kg BA played an anti-inflammatory role in the F-2 toxin-induced ovarian impairment by decreasing interleukin-1β(IL-1β).IL-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)mRNA expression,as well as inhibiting p38 protein *** data demonstrated that BA exerts its protective effect on F-2 toxin-induced ovarian oxidative impairment and inflammation by inhibiting p38 expression,which implies a natural product-based medicine to ameliorate F-2 toxin-caused female reproductive toxicity and provides a detoxifying method for food contaminated by mycotoxin.

A general industrial CCD( ICCD) camera is redesigned to detect the weld pool without arc at the period of short circuiting, so that the interference of arc and spatter during CO2 short circuiting arc welding is eliminated. Through the analysis of weld pool image, both size parameters (such as weld pool area A, weld pool length L1, L2 and weld pool breadth b) and contour parameters (b, which describe the curves of weld pool boundany) ,which could indicate the shape features of weld pool, had been defined to express weld pool information quantitatively. The investigation of the relationships between weld pool shape parameters and welding process parameters may be beneficial to the quality control of CO2 welding.

This paper aims at achieving a simultaneously sparse and low-rank estimator from the semidefinite population covariance *** first benefit from a convex optimization which develops l1-norm penalty to encourage the sparsity and nuclear norm to favor the low-rank *** the proposed estimator,we then prove that with high probability,the Frobenius norm of the estimation rate can be of order O(√((slgg p)/n))under a mild case,where s and p denote the number of nonzero entries and the dimension of the population covariance,respectively and n notes the sample ***,an efficient alternating direction method of multipliers with global convergence is proposed to tackle this problem,and merits of the approach are also illustrated by practicing numerical simulations.

Oral submucous fibrosis （OSF） is a potentially malignant disorder that is characterized by a progressive fibrosis in the oral submucosa. Arecoline, an alkaloid compound of the areca nut, is reported to be a major aetiological factor in the development of OSF. Low-power laser irradiation （LPLI） has been reported to be beneficial in fibrosis prevention in different damaged organs. The aim of this study was to investigate the potential therapeutic effects of LPLI on arecoline-induced fibrosis. Arecoline- stimulated human gingival fibroblasts （HGFs） were treated with or without LPLI. The expression levels of the fibrotic marker genes alpha-smooth muscle actin （a-SMA） and connective tissue growth factor （CTGF/CCN2） were analysed by quantitative real- time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR） and western blots. In addition, the transcriptional activity of CCN2 was further determined by a reporter assay. The results indicated that arecoline increased the messenger RNA and protein expression of CCN2 and a-SMA in HGF. Interestingly, both LPLI and forskolin, an adenylyl cyclase activator, reduced the expression of arecoline-mediated fibrotic marker genes and inhibited the transcriptional activity of CCN2. Moreover, pretreatment with SQ22536, an adenylyl cyclase inhibitor, blocked LPLI＇s inhibition of the expression of arecoline-mediated fibrotic marker genes. Our data suggest that LPLI may inhibit the expression of arecoline-mediated fibrotic marker genes via the cAMP signalling pathway.

Light-emitting diodes(LEDs)based on perovskite semiconductor materials with tunable emission wavelength in visible light range as well as narrow linewidth are potential competitors among current light-emitting display technologies,but still suffer from severe instability driven by electric ***,we develop a stable,efficient and highcolor purity hybrid LED with a tandem structure by combining the perovskite LED and the commercial organic LED technologies to accelerate the practical application of *** LED and organic LED with close photoluminescence peak are selected to maximize photon emission without photon reabsorption and to achieve the narrowed emission *** designing an efficient interconnecting layer with p-type interface doping that provides good opto-electric coupling and reduces Joule heating,the resulting green emitting hybrid LED shows a narrow linewidth of around 30 nm,a peak luminance of over 176,000 cd m^(−2),a maximum external quantum efficiency of over 40%,and an operational half-lifetime of over 42,000 h.

Membrane-associated guanylate kinase(MAGUK)family protein MAGUK invert 2(MAGI-2)has been demonstrated to be involved in the tumorigenic mechanism of prostate *** objective of this study was to investigate the expression of MAGI・2 at mRNA and protein *** prog no stic value of MAGI-2 in Han Chin ese patie nts with prostate cancer was also *** expression data of MAGI・2 were assessed through database retrieval,analysis of sequencing data from our group,and tissue immunohistochemistry using digital scoring system(H・score).The clinical,pathological,and follow-up data were *** expression of MAGI-2 in prostate tumor tissues and prostate normal tissues was evaluated and ***-2 expression was associated with clinical parameters including tumor stage,lymph node status,Gleason score,PSA level,and biochemical recurrenee of prostate *** relative expression of MAGI-2 mRNA was lower in the tumor tissue in The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database and sequencing data(P<0.001).There was no difference in MAGI-2 protein expression between tumor and normal tissues in tissue microarray(TMA)***-2 expression was associated with pathological tumor stage(P=0.02),Gleason score(P=0.05),and preoperation prostate-specific antigen(PSA;P=0.04).A positive correlation was identified between MAGI-2 and phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10(PTEN)expressions through the analysis of TCGA and TMA data(P<0.0001).Patients with higher MAGI-2 expression had longer biochemical recurrence-free survival in the univariate analysis(P=0.005),which in dicates an optimal prog no stic value of MAGI-2 in Han Chin ese patie nts with prostate can cer.I n con elusion,MAGI-2 expressi on gradually decreases with tumor progression,and can be used as a predictor of tumor recurrence in Chinese patients.

福州开元寺铁佛是国内外现存的最大古代铁佛像。应用X射线光电子能谱技术,对该铁佛近表面和近心部区域样品Fe的2p和C的1s谱线进行分峰拟合,确定了铁佛表面存在的α-Fe、Fe_(3)C、石墨、α-Fe_(2)O_(3)和SiC的摩尔含量。鉴定了铁佛表面的腐蚀产物为α-Fe_(2)O_(3),确认了其近表面和近心部区域分属白口组织和麻口组织,其中的SiC来自抛光剂,并计算获得了渗碳体的石墨转化率R,分别为5.45mol%和21.7mol%。分析了铁佛的金相组织特点与成因,讨论其显著抗腐蚀的原因,阐述了XPS用于铸铁(特别是铁器文物)研究的优势,企望本文的分析方法可资参考。

BACKGROUND Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is a highly fatal disease with limited effective treatment especially after first-line *** human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER-2)immunohistochemistry(IHC)positive is associated with more aggressive clinical behavior and shorter overall survival in *** SUMMARY We present a case of multiple metastatic PDAC with IHC mismatch repair proficient but HER-2 IHC weakly positive at diagnosis that didn’t have tumor regression after first-line nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine and PD-1 inhibitor treatment.A novel combination therapy PRaG 3.0 of RC48(HER2-antibody-drug conjugate),radio-therapy,PD-1 inhibitor,granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor and interleukin-2 was then applied as second-line therapy and the patient had confirmed good partial response with progress-free-survival of 6.5 months and overall survival of 14.2 *** had not developed any grade 2 or above treatment-related adverse events at any *** of peripheral CD8^(+) Temra and CD4^(+) Temra were increased during first two activation cycles of PRaG 3.0 treatment containing radiotherapy but deceased to the baseline during the maintenance cycles containing no *** PRaG 3.0 might be a novel strategy for HER2-positive metastatic PDAC patients who failed from previous first-line approach and even PD-1 immunotherapy but needs more data in prospective trials.
