The effect of W element on the micros.ructure evolution and mechanical properties.of Al_(1.25)CoCrFeNi3 eutectic high-entropy alloy and Al_(1.25)CoCrFeNi_(3-x.W_(x.(x.0,0.05,0.1,0.3,and 0.5;atomic ratio)high-entropy alloys.HEAs.were *** s.ow that the Al_(1.25)CoCrFeNi_(3-x.W_(x. HEAs.are compos.d of face-centered cubic and body-centered cubic(BCC)*** W content increas.s.the micros.ructure changes.from eutectic to *** addition of W lowers.the nucleation barrier of the BCC phas.,decreas.s.the valence electron concentration of the HEAs.and replaces.Al in the BCC phas.,thus.facilitating the nucleation of the BCC *** res.lts.s.ow that the addition of W greatly improves.the mechanical properties.and s.lid-s.lution,heterogeneous.interface,and s.cond-phas. s.rengthening are the main s.rengthening *** yield s.rength,tens.le s.rength,and elongation of the Al_(1.25)CoCrFeNi2.95W0.05 HEA are 601.44 MPa,1132.26 MPa,and 15.94%,res.ectively,realizing a balance between s.rength and *** fracture mode of the Al_(1.25)CoCrFeNi_(3-x.W_(x. HEAs.is.ductile–brittle mix.d fracture,and the crack propagates.and initiates.in the BCC *** eutectic lamellar s.ructure impedes.crack propagation and maintains.plas.icity.

Rapid and long-range dis.ance meas.rements.are es.ential in various.indus.rial and s.ientific applications.and among them,the dual-comb ranging s.s.em attracts.great attention due to its.high ***,the tem-poral as.nchronous.s.mpling res.lts.in the tradeoff between frame rate and ranging precis.on,and the non-ambiguity range(NAR)is.als. limited by the comb cycle,which hinders.the further advancement of the dual-comb ranging *** this.cons.raint,we introduce a Vernier s.ectral interferometry to improve the frame rate and NAR of the ranging ***,leveraging the dis.ers.ve time-s.retch technology,the dual-comb interferometry becomes.s.ectral ***,the as.nchronous.time s.ep is.unlimited,and the frame rate is.improved to 100 ***,dual-wavelength bands.are introduced to implement a Vernier s.ectral interferometry,whos. NAR is.enlarged from 1.5 m to 1.5 ***,this.fas. and long-range s.s.em als. demons.rated high precis.on,with a 22.91-nm Allan deviation over 10-ms.averaging *** a res.lt,the propos.d Vernier s.ectral interferometry ranging s.s.em is.promis.ng for divers. applications.that neces.itate rapid and ex.ens.ve dis.ance meas.rement.

Ex.s.ing photovoltaic cells.with high infrared emis.ivity generate huge radiative heat los. in photovoltaic/thermal applications.and degrade the photothermal *** purpos. of this.work is.to evaluate the full s.ectral abs.rptivity of CdTe cells.to find a s.ectrally s.lective photovoltaic cell for photovoltaic/thermal *** this.end,the s.lar abs.rptivity and mid-infrared thermal emis.ivity of CdTe cells.were tes.ed by ellips.metry,UV-Vis.NIR s.ectrophotometer,and Fourier trans.orm infrared *** ex.erimental res.lts.s.ow that the AM 1.5 s.lar s.ectrum weighted abs.rptivity of the s.bs.rate configuration CdTe cell reaches.0.91,and the mid-infrared emis.ivity is.only 0.29,while the s.pers.rate configuration cell emis.ivity is.as.high as.*** res.arch s.ows.that s.bs.rate configuration with a trans.arent conductive layer on top can be flex.bly grown on metal foils.and has.s.ectral s.lectivity with high s.lar abs.rptivity and low mid-infrared emis.ivity s.ould be cons.dered in the future for photovoltaic/thermal applications.

The turbulent depos.tion mechanis. is.one of the main mechanis.s.of aeros.l depos.tion in nuclear power plant *** ex.erimental s.udy of poly-dis.ers. aeros.l depos.tion in a horizontal tube is.conducted,where the nominal Reynolds.number(Re)is.in a range of 3600–200,*** aeros.l depos.tion velocity firs. increas.s.and then decreas.s.with the increas. of Res.and at high Re,particle rebound occurs.during aeros.l depos.tion in the *** the Re is.low,the aeros.l depos.tion velocity increas.s.with the increas. of aeros.l *** the Re is.greater than 60,000,the depos.tion velocity firs. increas.s.and then decreas.s.with the increas. of aeros.l diameter due to particle s.rface rebound.A new aeros.l depos.tion model has.been developed by es.ablis.ing the energy cons.rvation equation of the rebounded particles.in the vis.ous.*** calculated res.lts.of the new model are in good agreement with thes. ex.erimental res.lts.and the error between the aeros.l depos.tion velocity calculated by the model and ex.erimental res.lts.is.between−60%and 150%.

tWe propos.d a facile s.nthes.s.of s.ngle-Ni-atom catalys.s.on low-cos. porous.carbon us.ng a calcina-tion method at the temperatures.of 850-1000°C,which were us.d for CO_(2) electrochemical reduction to *** porous.carbon was.prepared by carbonizing cheap and abundant humic *** s.ructural characterizations.of the as.s.nthes.zed catalys.s.and their electrocatalytic performances.were *** res.lts.s.owed that the s.ngle-Ni-atom catalys. activated at 950°C s.owed an optimum catalytic performance,and it reached a CO Faradaic efficiency of 91.9% with a CO partial current dens.ty of 6.9 mAcm^(-2)at-0.9 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE).Additionally,the CO Faradaic efficiency and current dens.ty of the optimum catalys. changed s.ightly after 8 h of continuous.operation,s.gges.ing that it pos.es.ed an ex.ellent *** s.ructure-activity relations.indicate that the variation in the CO_(2) electroche-mical reduction performance for the as.s.nthes.zed catalys.s.is.as.ribed to the combined effects.of the increas. in the content of pyrrolic N,the evaporation of Ni and N,the decreas. in pore volume,and the change in graphitization degree.
