Objective:To understand the insecticide resistance status of Culex quinquefasciatus Say（Diptera: Culicidae）（***） to deltamethrin,cyfluthrin,permethrin,lambdacyhalothrin, DDT and malathion in filarial endemic areas of Uttar Pradesh,***:Insecticide susceptibility assays were performed on wild-caught adult female *** mosquitoes to deltamethrin（0.05%）,cyfluthrin（0.15%）,permethrin（0.75%）,lambdacyhalothrin （0.05%）,malathion（5.0%） and DDT（4.0%）,the discriminating doses recommended by the World Health Organisation（WHO）.Results:The data showed that *** is highly resistant to DDT and malathion;the mortality was 28.33%and 27.5%,respectively and incipient resistance to synthetic pyrethroids（deltamethrin,cyfluthrin,permethrin,and lambdacyhalothrin）, where mortality ranged from 95.83%in permethrin to 98.33%in cyfluthrin and lambdacyhalothrin. Knockdown times(KDT50) in response to synthetic pyrethroids varied significantly between different insecticides（P<0.01） from 31.480 min for permethrin to 21.650 for cyfluthrin. Conclusions:The results presents here provide the status report of the insecticide resistance/ susceptibility of *** in major filaria endemic areas of northern India.

The present work aims to develop an object tracking controller for the Stewart platform using a computer vision-assisted machine learning-based *** research is divided into two *** first module focuses on the design of a motion controller for the Physik Instrumente(PI)-based Stewart *** contrast,the second module deals with the development of a machine-learning-based spatial object tracking algorithm by collecting information from the Zed 2 stereo vision ***,simple feed-forward neural networks(NN)are used to predict the orientation of the top table of the *** training,the x,y,and z coordinates of the three-dimensional(3D)object,extracted from images,are used as the input to the *** contrast,the orientation information of the platform(that is,rotation about the x,y,and z-axes)is considered as the output from the *** orientation information obtained from the network is fed to the inverse kinematics-based motion controller(module 1)to move the platform while tracking the *** training,the optimised NN is used to track the continuously moving 3D *** experimental results show that the developed NN-based controller has successfully tracked the moving spatial object with reasonably good accuracy.

Impacts of hydropower-induced flow alterations on composition and diversity of riparian vegetation in the Western Himalayas: A case study in Uttarakhand, India

The Indo-Gangetic Plain(IGP)is one of the most seismically vulnerable areas due to its proximity to the *** information system(GIS)-based seismic characterization of the IGP was performed based on the degree of deformation and fractal *** zone between the Main Boundary Thrust(MBT)and the Main Central Thrust(MCT)in the Himalayan Mountain Range(HMR)experienced large variations in earthquake magnitude,which were identified by Number-Size(NS)fractal *** central IGP zone experienced only moderate to low mainshock *** analysis of earthquake epicenters reveals a large scattering of earthquake epicenters in the HMR and central IGP ***,the fault fractal analysis identifies the HMR,central IGP,and south-western IGP zones as having more ***,the seismicity of the study region is strong in the central IGP,south-western IGP,and HMR zones,moderate in the western and southern IGP,and low in the northern,eastern,and south-eastern IGP zones.

The Lichi volcanics are a suite of mafic-intermediate-felsic rocks and are considered coeval with the Abor volcanics(~132 Ma) of the Siang window in the Eastern Himalaya. Here, we present the first report of trachytic rocks from the Lichi volcanics, which are exposed in the Ranga valley, along the Kimin-Yazali road section in the Eastern Himalayan Region, Northeast India. The trachytes occur in close association with sandstones of the Gondwana Group of rocks and are characterised based on field, petrographical, and geochemical *** fine-grained trachytes are composed of alkali feldspar, biotite, plagioclase, sodic-amphibole, apatite, illmenite, and titanite. The REE profiles of the evolved trachytic rocks(higher SiO_(2)content) display fractionated trends. The fractionation of accessory mineral phases, like apatite and titanite, was possibly responsible for the strongly fractionated REE patterns of the evolved *** trachytic rocks demonstrate high apatite saturation temperatures of 988 ± 14 ℃(1σ, n = 8). Heterogeneous and monolithic integration of the versatile low-loss silicon nitride platform with low-temperature materials such as silicon electronics and photonics,III–V compound semiconductors,lithium niobate,organics,and glasses has been inhibited by the need for high-temperature annealing as well as the need for different process flows for thin and thick *** techniques are needed to maintain the state-of-the-art losses,nonlinear properties,and CMOS-compatible processes while enabling this next generation of 3D silicon nitride *** report a significant advance in silicon nitride integrated photonics,demonstrating the lowest losses to date for an anneal-free process at a maximum temperature 250℃,with the same deuterated silane based fabrication flow,for nitride and oxide,for an order of magnitude range in nitride thickness without requiring stress mitigation or *** report record low anneal-free losses for both nitride core and oxide cladding,enabling 1.77 dBm-1 loss and 14.9 million Q for 80 nm nitride core waveguides,more than half an order magnitude lower loss than previously reported sub 300℃ *** 800 nm-thick nitride,we achieve as good as 8.66 dBm-1 loss and 4.03 million Q,the highest reported Q for a low temperature processed resonator with equivalent device area,with a median of loss and Q of 13.9 dBm-1 and 2.59 million each *** demonstrate laser stabilization with over 4 orders of magnitude frequency noise reduction using a thin nitride reference cavity,and using a thick nitride micro-resonator we demonstrate OPO,over two octave supercontinuum generation,and four-wave mixing and parametric gain with the lowest reported optical parametric oscillation threshold per unit resonator *** results represent a significant step towards a uniform ultra-low loss silicon nitride homogeneous and heterogeneous platform for both thin and thick waveguides capable of linear and nonlinear photonic circuits and integrat
