Study of Optimal Frequency to the Repairable System Due to Failure Finding Interval to Maximize Availability System

This research article is based on a study of optimal frequency to the repairable system due to the failure finding interval to maximize as well as minimize the availability of some components devices. We studied together maintenance and corrective actions that carried out item of failure and periodic failure finding designed to check whether a system is still working. The model is proved as well as useful application in detecting the problem related to finding failure tasks of different scheme devices by maximization. The model formulated and the numerical application to the relevant mathematical model have been discussed to demonstrate the article quality. Therefore based on probability analytic development, the optimal maintenance policy is then obtained as solution of an optimization problem in which the maintenance cost rate is the objective function and the risk of corrective maintenance is the constraint function. Finally, the solution to the optimal device in the considered development model has been well adjusted due to derivation to the experimental observation rather than theory which will be taken into consideration in the next applied practical design research related and the system device provided that, the proactive device agreed with using the exponential distribution to the survive distribution function which can not be considered as valid.

Using Extreme Value Theory Approaches to Estimate High Quantiles for Stroke Data

This paper aims to explore the application of Extreme Value Theory (EVT) in estimating the conditional extreme quantile for time-to-event outcomes by examining the functional relationship between ambulatory blood pressure trajectories and clinical outcomes in stroke patients. The study utilizes EVT to analyze the functional connection between ambulatory blood pressure trajectories and clinical outcomes in a sample of 297 stroke patients. The 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure measurement curves for every 15 minutes are considered, acknowledging a censored rate of 40%. The findings reveal that the sample mean excess function exhibits a positive gradient above a specific threshold, confirming the heavy-tailed distribution of data in stroke patients with a positive extreme value index. Consequently, the estimated conditional extreme quantile indicates that stroke patients with higher blood pressure measurements face an elevated risk of recurrent stroke occurrence at an early stage. This research contributes to the understanding of the relationship between ambulatory blood pressure and recurrent stroke, providing valuable insights for clinical considerations and potential interventions in stroke management.

Globally,to build cities and communities more inclusive,safe,resilient and sustainable is one of the most important sustainable development ***-districts in cities emerged as an answer to current global environmental concerns and have been developed in France since the *** objective of this work is to gather operational feedback from sustainable neighborhood projects owners to better understand the key barriers of such projects and how to overcome them.A case study of the eco-district Les Tanneries,Lingolsheim showed that the carbon footprint of each inhabitant annually amounted to 4 tons CO2 equivalent,more than half of the French *** for improvements were clearly identified regarding transports and food carbon *** for energy consumption,social diversity and density reached the level of the eco-districts average.A governance review pointed out some superior practices such as the formalization of a specification requirements handbook,a competition between project management teams,and the use of neighborhood sustainability assessment tools to measure and track changes in *** validated tools and obtained results can be useful in building sustainable cities and even China’s ecological civilization.

The soil dissipation of the widely used herbicides S-metolachlor(SM)and butachlor(BUT)was evaluated in laboratory microcosms at two environmentally relevant doses(15 and 150μg/g)and for two agricultural soils(crop and paddy).Over 80%of SM and BUT were dissipated within 60 and 30 days,respectively,except in experiments with crop soil at 150μg/*** on compound-specific isotope analysis(CSIA)and observed dissipation,biodegradation was the main process responsible for the observed decrease of SM and BUT in the paddy *** SM,biodegradation dominated over other dissipation processes,with changes of carbon isotope ratios(Δδ13C)of up to 6.5‰after 60 days,and concomitant production of ethane sulfonic acid(ESA)and oxanilic acid(OXA)transformation *** crop soil experiments,biodegradation of SM occurred to a lesser extent than in paddy soil,and sorption was the main driver of apparent BUT *** of the 16 S rRNA gene showed that soil type and duration of herbicide exposure were the main determinants of bacterial community *** contrast,herbicide identity and spiking dose had no significant *** paddy soil experiments,a high(4:1,V/V)ESA to OXA ratio for SM was observed,and phylotypes assigned to anaerobic Clostridiales and sulfur reducers such as Desulfuromonadales and Syntrophobacterales were dominant for both *** soil microcosms,in contrast,were associated with a reverse,low(1:3,V/V)ratio of ESA to OXA for SM,and Alphaproteobacteria,Actinobacteria,and Bacillales dominated regardless of the *** results emphasize the variability in the extent and modes of SM and BUT dissipation in agricultural soils,and in associated changes in bacterial communities.

Stochastic differential equation (SDE) is an ordinary differential equation with a stochastic process that can model the unpredictable real-life behavior of any continuous systems. It is the combination of differential equations, probability theory, and stochastic processes. Stochastic differential equations arise in modeling a variety of random dynamic phenomena in physical, biological and social process. The SDE theory is traditionally used in physical science and financial mathematics. Recently, more researchers have been conducted in the application of SDE theory to various areas of engineering. This dissertation is mainly concerned with the existence of mild solutions for impulsive neutral stochastic differential equations with nonlocal conditions in Hilbert spaces. The results are obtained by using fractional powers of operator in the semigroup theory and Sadovskii fixed point theorem.

Approaches to Improving Nursing Handoffs in Surgical Wards

Objective: To propose approaches to improve nursing handoffs for surgical patients, including standardization. Background: Handoffs, or the transfer of accountability and patient information, can generate potential risks for patient safety. Standardization has been proposed to help improve handoffs. Methods: After observing 333 nursing handoffs in the surgical wards of our institution, we conducted a thematic content analysis, comparing and contrasting the observations. Results: Handoff processes, including the use of support tools, varied among the observations. Common themes in the handoff content suggested possibilities of standardization. About half of the 51 interruptions occurring during the observed handoffs were by healthcare professionals. Conclusions: Standardization to improve handoffs should address both the content and the process. Interruptions were common and should be avoided whenever possible. Future studies should also consider the use of mobile applications to support handoffs and clinical documentation.

目的探讨白细胞计数(WBC)、C反应蛋白(CRP)和降钙素原(PCT)在恶性疟疾诊断中的应用价值。方法选取非洲加蓬共和国弗朗斯维尔市中加友谊医院2020年9月至2021年6月收治的各型疟疾患者60例[恶性疟疾组45例,其他型疟疾(间日疟、三日疟和卵型疟)组15例],并选取该医院同期的健康查体者21名作为对照组,比较3组的WBC、CRP和PCT水平,并分析WBC、CRP和PCT诊断恶性疟疾的效能。结果恶性疟疾组的WBC、CRP和PCT水平均高于其他型疟疾组和对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);CRP和PCT诊断恶性疟疾的灵敏度高于WBC,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论WBC、CRP和PCT对恶性疟疾有一定的诊断价值,CRP和PCT可作为病情评估及预后判定的参考指标。

Physico-Chemical Characterization of Some Honeys from the Savannah-Gallery Forest Complex and Primary Forest in Gabon

Honey harvesting throughout beekeeping is a technology recently introduced in Gabon comparing to the other African countries well known in international honey trade. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the knowledge of the quality of multi-flower honeys from the savannah-gallery forest complex and primary forest not well documented in Gabon. Physical and chemical parameters of different honeys were analyzed using the official methods of analysis of the Association of Official Analytical Chemists. The results of physico-chemical analysis show variations in pH (3.4 to 3.9), free acidity (37.12 to 76.65 meq∙kg−1), water content (17.49% to 21.21%), electrical conductivity (0.64 to 1.24 mS∙cm−1), density (1.02 to 1.03) and total sugar content (77% to 82%). These variations were significantly different (p < 0.05) between certain honeys, but independent of the type of ecosystem considered. The pH values confirmed the botanical origin of the five honeys. The physico-chemical parameters of the honeys show significant correlations (p < 0.05). Moisture content is negatively correlated with conductivity (r = −0.628), pH (r = −0.631), density (r = −0.552) and total sugar content (r = −0.890). Conductivity is positively correlated with free acidity (r = 0.688) and total sugar content (r = 0.776), and negatively correlated with water content (r = −0.628). All honeys were in line with Codex Alimentarius standards, except for 3 types of honey (M1, M2 and M4) for free acidity and electrical conductivity, showing possible fermentation of these honeys.

Mathematical Modeling of Drying in a New Concept of Silo-Dryer-Aerator and the Quality of Soybean Seeds (Glycine max (L.) Merrill)

The aim of this study was to model and validate a new concept of a silo-dryer-aerator for the drying of soybean seeds and determine the quality of the seeds in function of the air temperatures in the drying. Soybeans with water contents of 17%(w.b.) were dried and stored in a silo-dryer-aerator system that was designed with a drying chamber and four independent storage cells in the air drying temperatures at 30, 40 and 50℃ in silo-dryer-aerator. The drying in the air temperature at 30℃ in the cell C1 the diffusion approximation model was the one that best fit the data, in the cell C2 the Newton model prevailed and in the cells C3 and C4 the Midilli model. In the drying with air temperature of 40℃ in the cell C1 the Page model was the one that better adjusted the data, whereas in the cell C2 the model of diffusion approximation determined the best fit, while in the cells C3 and C4 the Page model obtained better fit. In the drying with air temperature of 50℃ in the cells C1, C2, C3 and C4 the logarithm model was the one that best represented the fit of the data. The increase in the drying air temperature to 50 °C decreased the quality of soybeans seeds. In the upper and middle part of the cells there was an increase in electrical conductivity (140.02 μS/cm/g) and germination (53%) compared with the lower dryer position.
