Background and objectives.Coronavirus.dis.as. 2019(COVID-19)is.a pandemic that has.become a major s.urce of morbidity and mortality worldwide,affecting the phys.cal and mental health of individuals.influencing *** the threat,it pos.s.to maternal health in s.b-s.haran Africa and Nigeria,there is.little or no data on the impact it has.on fertility,conception,ges.ation and *** compare the birth rate between pre-COVID and COVID times.us.ng s.lected months.of the *** and methods.This.was.a s.condary analys.s.of cros.-s.ctional analytical s.udy data from the birth regis.ries.of three tertiary hos.itals.comparing two years.2019(Pre-COVID)]vers.s.2020(COVID era)]us.ng three months.of the year(October to December).The data relied upon was.obtained from birth regis.ries.in three bus. maternity clinics.all within tertiary hos.itals.in s.uth-Eas. Nigeria and we aimed at dis.us.ing the potential impacts.of COVID-19 on fertility in *** s.condary outcome meas.res.were;mode of delivery,booking s.atus.of the participants.maternal age and ***:There was.a s.gnificant decreas. in tertiary-hos.ital bas.d birth rate by 92 births.P=0.0009;95%CI:-16.0519 to-4.1481)among mothers.in all the three hos.itals.in 2020 during the COVID period(pos. lockdown months.of October to *** was.a s.gnificant difference in the mode of delivery for mothers.P=0.0096)with a 95%confidence interval of 1.0664 to 1.5916,as.more gave birth through vaginal delivery during the 2020 COVID-19 period than ***:Tertiary-hos.ital bas.d birth rates.were reduced during the *** multi-centre s.udy extrapolated on pos.ible factors.that may have played a role in this.decline in their birth rate,which includes.but is.not limited to;decreas.d acces. to hos.ital care due to the total lockdowns.curfews.and wors.ning inflation and economic reces.ion in the country.

JUNO is.a multi-purpos. neutrino obs.rvatory under cons.ruction in the s.uth of *** publication pres.nts.new s.ns.tivity es.imates.for the meas.rement of the △m_(31)^(2),△m_(21)^(2),s.n^(2)θ_(12),and s.n^(2)θ_(13) os.illation parameters.us.ng reactor antineutrinos.which is.one of the primary phys.cs.goals.of the *** s.ns.tivities.are obtained us.ng the bes. knowledge available to date on the location and overburden of the experimental s.te,the nuclear reactors.in the s.rrounding area and beyond,the detector res.ons. uncertainties.and the reactor antineutrino s.ectral s.ape cons.raints.expected from the TAO s.tellite *** is.found that the △m_(21)^(2) and s.n^(2)θ_(12) os.illation parameters.will be determined to 0.5%precis.on or better in s.x years.of data *** the s.me period,the △m_(31)^(2) parameter will be determined to about 0.2%precis.on for each mas. ordering *** new precis.on repres.nts.approximately an order of magnitude improvement over exis.ing cons.raints.for thes. three parameters.

The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Obs.rvatory(JUNO)features.a 20 kt multi-purpos. underground liquid s.intillator s.here as.its.main *** of JUNO's.features.make it an excellent location for^8B s.lar neutrino meas.rements.s.ch as.its.low-energy thres.old,high energy res.lution compared with water Cherenkov detectors.and much larger target mas. compared with previous.liquid s.intillator *** this.paper,we pres.nt a comprehens.ve as.es.ment of JUNO's.potential for detecting^8B s.lar neutrinos.via the neutrino-electron elas.ic s.attering proces..A reduced 2 MeV thres.old for the recoil electron energy is.found to be achievable,as.uming that the intrins.c radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid s.intillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/*** ten years.of data acquis.tion,approximately 60,000 s.gnal and 30,000 background events.are *** large s.mple will enable an examination of the dis.ortion of the recoil electron s.ectrum that is.dominated by the neutrino flavor trans.ormation in the dens. s.lar matter,which will s.ed new light on the incons.s.ency between the meas.red electron s.ectra and the predictions.of the s.andard three-flavor neutrino os.illation *** m^(2)_(21)=4.8times.0^(-5);(7.5times.0^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino os.illation in the Earth at approximately the 3s.gma(2s.gma)level by meas.ring the non-zero s.gnal rate variation with res.ect to the s.lar zenith ***,JUNO can s.multaneous.y meas.reDelta m^2_(21)us.ng^8B s.lar neutrinos.to a precis.on of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to s.b-percent precis.on us.ng reactor antineutrinos.A comparis.n of thes. two meas.rements.from the s.me detector will help unders.and the current mild incons.s.ency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by s.lar neutrino experiments.and the KamLAND experiment.

The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Obs.rvatory(JUNO)is.a large liquid s.intillator detector des.gned to explore many topics.in fundamental *** this.s.udy,the potential of s.arching for proton decay in the p→νK^(+)mode with JUNO is.*** kaon and its.decay particles.feature a clear three-fold coincidence s.gnature that res.lts.in a high efficiency for ***,the excellent energy res.lution of JUNO permits.s.ppres.ion of the s.zable background caus.d by other delayed *** on thes. advantages.the detection efficiency for the proton decay via p→νK^(+)is.36.9%±4.9%with a background level of 0.2±0.05(s.s.)±0.2(s.at)events.after 10 years.of data *** es.imated s.ns.tivity bas.d on 200 kton-years.of expos.re is.9.6×1033 years.which is.competitive with the current bes. limits.on the proton lifetime in this.channel and complements.the us. of different detection technologies.
